Story
Courtesy Post for a rescue partner. We are assisting Greener Side Haven with placing Wolfie ! Wolfie is a striking Siberian Husky/Lab(?) mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs, is neutered, partially housebroken, current on vaccinations, dewormed and has a clean heartworm test. He has a short Lab like coat but Husky markings and that traditional tail curl. Wolfie has a big personality and like many young Huskies can be willful & headstrong, but is very smart. He is a very active dog and will try to escape, so a 6’ privacy fenced yard is required to keep this guy safe. We believe Wolfie would do best with someone who has Siberian breed experience. No small children or small dogs please. For more details and to arrange a meet ‘n greet, please call 352-746-3545. If you have questions about the Siberian breed feel free to email us at: foccas@tampabay.rr.com More pics of Wolfie can be found here: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/wolfie-59987955/fl/inverness/foccas-inc-fl1385/

Meet Wayne — A Handsome 75 Pounds of Sweetness! Just look at that face. Wayne is a handsome 2-year-old, 75-pound boy looking for his next home.We know a little about Wayne from his previous home. He lived with other dogs and was described as friendly and playful. He is also reported to be leash trained, giving him some nice skills to bring along to his new family. At two years old, Wayne is still a young guy with plenty of life and adventures ahead of him. His soft expression and those big brown eyes make it pretty difficult not to want to know more about him!Wayne is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated and ready to meet potential adopters.Come spend some time with Wayne and see if this big handsome fellow might be the one you`ve been waiting for.Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Story
Meet Gigi — Sweet, Calm & Full of Personality!Gigi`s foster has given us a chance to learn what Gigi is really like away from the shelter — and she sounds like a lovely companion!Gigi is potty-trained and housetrained and is described as gentle, calm and quiet. She enjoys her walks, is good on leash and rides nicely in the car. At home, she’s perfectly happy cuddling with you on the couch — but this polite girl doesn’t get on the furniture unless she’s invited. She loves people and loves the water. She can do well with other dogs when properly introduced, but cats are not her cup of tea, so Gigi is looking for a feline-free home. And while her foster mom gardens, Gigi has apparently appointed herself Chief Lizard Patrol Officer. Chasing lizards around the yard is one of her favorite pastimes. Her foster mom has discovered that this sweet girl is very easy to communicate with — and very easy to love. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who can enjoy an outing with you and then settle in for a cuddle, Gigi may be your girl. Gigi is listed in the age range of 6-10 yrs. old, weighs 64 lbs., and is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. To meet Gigi call Citrus County Animal Services to schedule an appointment with her foster mom. 352-746-8400. Story
Monty is a 9 month-1 year old hound and weighs 32 lbs but needs to put on 5 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. He is dog and kid friendly. Potty trained and crate trained. We picked Monty for a reason. When all the other dogs were jumping and bouncing in their kennels at the crowded shelter Monty was desperately trying to push his head through the gap to get to us and be close. He just wanted his head in our hands. When we brought him out to the yard he gave everyone a "thank you" hug and showed us his joyful, adorable personality. He is a very special and extremely loving boy. He just wants to please his people. Monty loves hard. He loves nothing more than to be one step behind his person with his long tail wagging. He is an exceptional snuggler and loves to be curled up on the couch. He is amazing with pottying outside, enjoys a sniffari and is super dog friendly. Monty is obsessed with kids and is a gentle boy. He is a very quick learner and has adjusted amazingly well to being in a home for the first time. He is a truly amazing hound. If you are interested in this GEM please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check, reference and vet checks will be completed prior to meeting him. His adoption fee will be $250.

Story
GRAY HAS A SWEET, GENTLE SPIRIT! Meet Gray, a beautiful girl with a soft personality and a playful side that comes out when there’s a ball around! Gray can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give her a little time and her sweet nature begins to shine. She enjoys being petted and is gentle and affectionate with the people she trusts.Gray previously lived with adults and young children and shared her home with two other dogs, getting along well with them. She was also reported to be house trained. And this girl has some skills! Gray knows come, stay and shake, is good on leash, loves her chew toys and especially enjoys playing ball. She has a lovely combination of gentle sweetness and playful fun.Gray may not be the girl who rushes up demanding attention the moment you meet her. Give her a chance to get acquainted, though, and you may discover a wonderful companion who enjoys attention, a good game of ball and simply being part of the family. She is 4 years old, 61 pounds, spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. Come meet her at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. ID# 61630617
