Story
Meet Honey! This sweet, silly girl is ready to leave her rough start behind and become someone’s best friend.Honey came to me extremely underweight and in need of care. With love, good food, and safety, she has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, playful pup who LOVES people. She’s smart, curious, food-motivated, and eager to learn. She has shown some food guarding but has improved significantly. People and other animals can be nearby while she eats but err on the side of caution until she is comfortable with everyone!Honey can experience separation anxiety when kenneled and left alone, so she’ll need patience and gradual training. She’s still learning house manners, so occasional accidents may happen if she has to wait too long. She also loves to chew and needs supervision and appropriate toys.Honey has puppy energy and would thrive with an active family, exercise, training, affection, and ideally a fenced yard. She currently lives with cats and an older small dog.

Story
Red is a neutered mixed breed. He was adopted through our local pound. He is a very loving and rambunctious boy. We are told he is between 3-5 years old. He is house trained and crate trained. He does well on a leash. He can sit on command. We are working on wait and stay. He loves to play with our 2 yr old female mountain cur but our female lab does not get along with Red. Red is fun to play with. He does have some food aggression, so we put him in his crate to cook dinner and any time we eat. We feed all our dogs separately to avoid confrontation. He loves to play ball, fetch and run. He loves to greet you when you get home and lick you too!
