Story
Sweetie was surrendered after she had nine pups. The couple was going through a divorce. She was skin and bones, had an infection, and hook worms. We got her into the vet immediately and on antibiotics. She has finished her meds and worm treatment. She goes back for a check-up on the 30th of Sept and will be up for adoption after that. https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/3cf63b7f-897b-4cfa-a1dd-ee4d9361d39c/downloads/OHAR%20adoption%20app%20%20fill.pdf?ver=1754250251274 Please return to openhandsanimalrescue@gmail.com

Story
Sugar is an absolute sweetheart, a gentle and affectionate dog who will be a quiet and loyal companion. With a heart as big as her appetite, Sugar is a playful soul who loves to explore and is always up for a game or a good tummy rub. She is friendly and gentle, with a playful spirit that will keep you on your toes. Sugar is the perfect addition to a family looking for a loving and gentle dog, ready to provide a lifetime of sweet memories and adventures. Could you be the one to offer Sugar a forever home? Sugar is a 5 year old chocolate lab mix female. Her owner, Ms. Harriet recently passed away. She would like it if Sugar and her sister, Spice could be adopted together. We will consider homes that will take both girls as a priority, but will consider a home for just one of them if it is a good fit. Sugar is friendly and likes meeting people. She is housetrained and current on vet records.

I saved him when I first got him he was just a few weeks old covered in flees and ticks severely to the point u could seem them crawling over him.His fur was dirty and the white on his stomach was brown and red with bloody cuts coming from his ears, but since he’s come a long way. He’s very energetic and loves people he’d rather play with people then his own toys ,even knows how to give a real hug, he’s talkative, sometimes clumsy, and will literally grab your hand with his mouth to make pet him if u stop. HI THIS IS NUBIS AND HES A AMAZING DOG I HOPE HE GETS THE LOVE HE DESERVES (P.S. his blood sister is Laila(lay-la)he’s younger then her by one day 11/14/2024)

Story
Took custody of him from a friend that was unable to support him and with relocating for work unfortunately now I can"t keep him due to housing restrictions. He's a great dog and super sweet. He's a little over 5yrs old and still has plenty of energy so someone that is active would be great for him.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier American Bulldog

Female, Adult
Ocala, FL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Freyja was found on the streets of FT Myers. I took her in and made her mine. The ver said she was older than two but younger than three and that was is 2023. She never had had accidents in the house and never showed any food aggression. She always played well with my little grand daughter and has always wanted all the cuddles and the love. She does jump pretty high for how little she is but only out of play. Always barks if someone knocks or is around the yard but has never been aggressive. I really hate that my life isn’t allowing me to keep her and that’s why I’m looking for a good home for her. She is a sweet loving dog, she doesn’t really like cats though. So a no cat home is best for her.
