Story
Trix is an absolute sweetheart. Her face and eyes will make you melt. She loves running around outside, playing with toys and absolutely loves couch cuddling and belly rubs. She has no issues with meeting new people and just accepts all the love and attention. She is house trained and crate trained for overnight. She has not been very vocal and we have only heard her barking when outside in full play mode. She previously was in a home with another dog so should be great in a new home with a 4 legged brother or sister. She has no issues with car rides and just sits in the back seat. She truly is a treat to have and would be a great addition in your home. If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application **Trix tested Heartworm Negative 3/14/24** My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Story
Remi is a good boy. He can sit, shake, and come (most of the time!) when asked. He loves walks and is learning leash manors. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard he can run around in. He is learning to love the cat and when it's appropriate to play with her. He enjoys looking out the window. He nose could get him in trouble that is why a fenced in yard would be best. If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Winnie is a beautiful three-year-old Foxhound who loves to go for long walks then back home for snuggles on the couch. Winnie's stunning eyes demand attention as she gently nudges and paws you until she has enough belly rubs to woo her to sleep.  Winnie came to us very pregnant, and gave birth to six beautiful and healthy pups. At only 45 lbs, Winnie is the perfect size dog for any home. Winnie has had no issues getting to know the resident dogs, and greets everyone- 2 legged and 4 legged- like old friends. She will sit on command and has perfect house manners. Winnie did test positive for heartworms, however she is currently receiving treatment through the rescue. Story
Introducing Banjo, the spirited 1-year-old Beagle who has had a rough start in life. Banjo's experience has made him fearful of human touch, but with a little patience, love and understanding, handsome and shy Banjo will approach for treats and gentle belly rubs!  He has taken almost 6 months to warm up in his foster home, and with the assistance of his 4-legged best buddies, Banjo is beginning to know love, and what it feels like to just "be a dog".  We believe that Banjo's new home will have at least one other furry 4-legged canine to help Banjo acclimate into his new surroundings.   Banjo's early life likely lacked the comfort and stability of a loving home. Consequently, he requires a secure and fenced-in yard where he can feel safe and explore his surroundings freely. Having the freedom to roam within the confines of a yard will allow Banjo to gradually build confidence and feel more at ease.  Banjo is finally used to a collar and will accept light touches, but is not accustomed to a leash. Deep down, Banjo possesses a curious nature that shines through his fear. He approaches the world around him with cautious intrigue, always eager to discover new scents and surroundings. His curiosity can be fostered by offering treats, which he will gently accept from your hand, showcasing his gentle and trusting nature. To earn Banjo's trust, it will take an abundance of patience and love. He needs a guardian who understands the healing power of time, willing to work with him to overcome his fears and build a strong bond. With gradual progress and consistent positive reinforcement, Banjo will learn to associate human touch with comfort, care, and affection. By providing Banjo with a dedicated and understanding home, you can offer him a fresh start filled with the love and support he deserves. Together, you can create a safe space where Banjo can thrive, not only as a curious canine but also as a loyal and loving companion. Story
Meet Noel! Noel is a young mixed breed dog weighing in at 55 lbs. He is full grown, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Noel was found in a bag thrown in a parking lot, and rescued by some amazing good samaritans. He sustained an injury during that time and lost his eye. We've helped him heal physically while in our care, and now he's looking for his forever home! Noel would do best with a fenced in yard where he can run out his zoomies. Due to his past, he can sometimes feel overwhelmed, and needs a home that will help him know that he is loved and safe. A few squeaky toys wouldn't hurt, either. If you're ready to welcome a loving and spirited companion into your life, Noel could be the perfect match for you! Come meet him and see if you're a match made in doggy heaven. Story
Meet Maggie!  Maggie is a lovable pup who's been on an incredible journey of growth and discovery. She's conquered her biggest challenge of jumping up out of excitement, thanks to consistent redirection from her loving companions. Though she occasionally forgets herself, she's getting better every day. House-training? Check! Maggie's never had an accident indoors, showing off her impressive manners. But she does have a little quirk—she's a connoisseur of chicken-topped dry food! If you forget her special topping, she won't hesitate to remind you. Living with her foster brothers, Maggie's learned the art of playtime etiquette. She's a rough-and-tumble player, but quick to respect boundaries when corrected. In her cozy abode with a spacious backyard, Maggie revels in the joy of running and chasing balls. Once wary of car rides, Maggie now eagerly hops in for adventures, especially if it includes a trip for a pup cup! She's a social butterfly, thriving on meeting new people of all genders. As for tiny humans, she's still learning to control her excitement, so she might need some patience and guidance there.Maggie's next step? A meeting with a trainer to pick up some new tricks and refine her skills. With her intelligence and sweet nature, Maggie is destined to be an amazing companion. Thank you for considering welcoming her into your heart and home. . If you’re interested, please visit www.fluffanimalrescue.org and complete an application today!  Maggie's adoption fee inlcude her Spay, Microchip, registration of microchip, Age approriate vaccines and 1st months preventatives.
