Story
Max is a great dog. Playful and nice with kids, kind to our oldest cat, gentle with the kitten, and obedient during our training sessions. My wife is undergoing medical treatments that require constant supervision, sanitization, etc. Max deserves a home where he can get the companionship, exercise, and kindness that he pays forward. He's a great addition to any family that has time to provide him the care and love he deserves. Major plus is he's great with both cats and dogs. He loves meeting strangers and he's very gentle and playful. When playtime is done, he enjoys cuddling up and resting with his owner.

Story
Ralo was given to us by our son, who moved out of town and could not take him with him. Ralo is 12 yrs old, he's good with adults and children 10 years old or older. He's not fond of strange dogs, I've never seen him around cats, he's very strong and loves to play outside. Thunder makes him shake, but he's good when he has his thunder jacket on. An adult or a couple in their 30s or 40s would be great. He's good in his crate, and he's house trained. .

Story
We acquired Luna from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay about 3 years ago and believe she is about 5 years old. She is very well trained, knows her basic commands and is house trained. We now have a baby in the home that makes Luna a little nervous. She is a sweet dog who loves to give love and be loved on. She loves to play, but her overall demeanor is very laid back and quiet, although she will "talk" to you every once in a while if she needs to go out or needs food or water. We think she would do best in a home without other pets or smaller children, although she does get along well with other dogs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ADOPTION PENDINGDuke is a dog who wants to devote himself to his human. Almost every single day either Duke's foster mom or foster dad says, 'Duke is a really good dog!' - because he is! Please be sure to check out the video clip below. He is a well behaved, good looking fellow. Duke has been in his foster home for several months now and his disposition has been exemplary. Although he is definitely into lizards and squirrels his recall is amazingly good and he will run to you and sit down right in front of you. Most often he has a happy grin on his face. He also crates very well as long as there's a promise of at least a small treat for him when he goes in. His crate is where he has his meals and sleeps at night. House training has been excellent from day one. Duke is moderate energy but really needs a fenced yard and he could jump a 4 ft fence easily. He does like to run but also enjoys just lying about surveying his property and watching for the squirrels and lizards! He loves affection and, although he doesn't pester or beg for it, he's ready anytime you are! Duke is wonderful at just curling up next to you on the couch, content to be at your side. He has done well with numerous dogs in his foster home but does better with females and would be just fine as an only dog.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 22, 2024, 5:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. His tail wags 24/7. Deacon is a little guy at just 20 lbs and he weighed much less than that when he was found wandering in Georgia. He's got a hearty appetite despite missing almost all of his teeth. In his foster home he is with several other dogs and gets along well with everyone. Deacon appears to be house trained and loves his doggie bed and does well in a crate too. He actually prefers sleeping in a dog bed to sleeping in bed with a human, and he's not particularly comfortable with being picked up. Deacon is heartworm negative and his bloodwork came back looking great. His heart and lungs sounded good and we moved forward with his neuter surgery and a good dental. His coat was so devitalized and he was so itchy that we also gave him a Cytopoint injection and now his coat and skin are looking so much better. Lack of care and poor nutrition are a thing of the past for this happy guy. He is a healthy senior and ready for his forever family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 22, 2024, 5:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Captain is a leisurely, lazy kind of guy, and he is gentle and affectionate. He will readily approach strangers with a gentle wag of his tail and a sweet expression on his face. Captain loves to sit on furniture, but he's a good listener and will get down when asked to. He loves car rides and loves his harness being put on because he knows he's going for a car ride. He's interested in other dogs, but not a fan of puppies and a little scared of cats. He LOVED the 8 year old boy in his MS foster home and would sit and let him read to him. Captain has been treated for heartworms and did very well. We have discovered however that he has cataracts in both eyes and his vision is very limited. We are scheduled for a cardiology consult as a requirement to determine eligibility for cataract surgery. If we can do this for him he will regain normal vision in both eyes! We should have more answers in late June.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 22, 2024, 5:09 am
