Story
Are you looking for a seasoned playmate who loves to cuddle just as much as he loves to tug? That's ME, Chester, a charming 7-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that's as playful as a puppy's! I am the epitome of a lifelong learner. I adore picking up new tricks and skills, making me an ideal companion for anyone eager to teach and bond with their furry friend. Whether it's learning something that makes you smile or exploring a new trail, I am always up for an adventure. When I'm not busy learning, my favorite pastime is playtime! I am a tug-of-war aficionado and will gladly challenge you to a friendly game. My enthusiasm is infectious, and my joy for playtime will surely bring a smile to your face. Despite my playful nature, I have a softer side too. I absolutely adore cuddling up next to my favorite humans, where I feel safest and happiest. My affection knows no bounds, and I'm always ready to shower my family with love. It's important to note that I also embrace my sensitive side. I am a little wary of storms and fireworks, so a comforting environment during loud noises will help me feel secure and calm. If you're ready to welcome a loving, playful, and cuddly companion into your life, I eagerly await meeting you. Come check out a delightful dog who promises to bring endless joy, laughter, and love to your home! Story
Hello, friends! My name is Lucy, and I'm a sweet 1-year-old Hound looking for a loving forever home. If you're searching for a loyal companion who's gentle, playful, and adores milk bones, then look no further-because I might just be the perfect match for you! Let me introduce myself. I have a gentle soul and a shy demeanor at first, but once I warm up to you, I'm full of love and affection. I enjoy quiet moments and thrive on gentle interactions with my favorite humans. Whether it's curling up beside you for cuddles or enjoying a peaceful stroll together, I cherish our time spent bonding. Now, about my favorite treat-milk bones are my absolute favorite! They're the perfect reward for good behavior and a delightful snack during training sessions. Watching me enjoy a milk bone will surely bring a smile to your face-I take my treats very seriously! I must mention that I can be shy around new people and situations, so I appreciate patience and understanding as I adjust and build trust. Once I feel comfortable, I'm incredibly loyal and devoted to my loved ones. I'm also great with other dogs and enjoy their company. I thrive in environments where I can socialize and play with canine friends, so a home with a doggy companion would be ideal for me. I do get bored if left alone in the yard, so I prefer a family who will include me in their daily activities and provide plenty of mental stimulation and interaction. I'm spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and eager to find a family who will appreciate my gentle nature and provide me with the love and care I deserve. If you're ready to welcome a shy yet loving and playful companion like me into your life, come meet Lucy at the shelter. I can't wait to show you just how wonderful life can be with a hound like me by your side! Let's create lasting memories together-There's a whole world I want to explore but I wanna have you along for the ride.

Story
He's not your average Snoopy! This Snoopy is an energetic young adult male German Shepherd mix who's ready to find his furever home! His perfect home is one where he can be the center of attention and doesn't have to share his people with anyone else, especially small critters. He may consider a similar sized doggie friend, they just need to meet first. Snoopy is a doggie date favorite and can be spotted around town walking Lake Mirror, shopping at Pet Supermarket, and even getting pupcups from Andrew's Coffee. Snoopy still needs training and an experienced pet owner to match his energy. He's smart, treat motivated and ready to learn. Come meet Snoopy for yourself at SPCA Florida and see what makes this boy so special!

Story
I know, I know. My name Simba, is Swahili for "lion." While I don't have the shape or markings of the king of beasts, I do have the edge when it comes to living with humans. I luv water so if you have a pond, pool or garden hose, I'm there. I have the oomph to splash around and play in water. So, unlike many canines, I'll bond with you at bath time. Farm critters and I don't see eye to eye but felines are OK, but not as roomies. Please let me be your one and only four-footed dog and I'll be your loyal protector. It's been said my legs are like pogo sticks since I'm an accomplished fence scaler. Just sayin'. It takes me time to warm up to strangers. I hide until I feel comfortable with them. I luv to talk so let's have a one-on-one to get acquainted. Let's arrange a playdate before you adopt me into my furever home. See you soon!

Story
If you are looking for a girl who will greet you with a body wag and a big ol' smile, then Cora is your girl. She is a lovebug who wants nothing more than to get all the love! She would benefit from someone willing to get her out for a daily walk/exercise to help her get her "girly figure" back. Cora is selective about who she allows into her circle of doggy friends, so we recommend bringing your current dog (if you have one) to make sure they meet with her approval.

Story
Take a gander at my photos. What you see is what you get, a 40-pound fur baby who wants to cuddle after a swim (please help me get dry before I plop next to you!). My most beautiful feature: my dark brown eyes that look like they're surrounded by mascara. So I'm a girly girl who needs to be your one and only fur baby. The getting-to-know-you phase make take time but we can transition by letting me demonstrate how I can execute basic commands. Balls and chew toys will thaw my shyness. My previous owner couldn't devote time to my care but if you can spend oodles of hours with me. I'll be your BFF forever. Please visit but ideally, not during a thunderstorm. Soon the rainy season will be history so no worries. I'll luv to see you soon.
