Story
Her name is Charisma. One of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet, but very hyper/anxious. She likes to cuddle in bed at night and hog a lot of the space. She needs a big yard for her to run around mindlessly and exert her energy. She is crate trained and potty trained but will have accidents on occasion in new areas/if not tended to quickly enough. She’s not much of a chewer, rarely chews on furniture or shoes or etc, but has happened before out of boredom. She’s a lot to deal with but she also gives intense amounts of love and affection.

EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Eager FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Outgoing PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Prefers People LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Sometimes If you are looking for a dog who will be your absolute shadow and best friend, look no further than Krieg. This two-year-old Bully mix is the definition of a gentle giant when it comes to his human friends. His favorite thing in the world is simply being near people; whether he’s greeting you with a full-body wiggle or leaning his heavy head against your knee for a "hug," he makes sure you know exactly how much he appreciates your company. He is a world-class snuggler who would happily spend his entire afternoon curled up on the couch right beside you. While he certainly loves a good nap, Krieg also has a wonderful, goofy side that comes out during playtime. He is a total toy expert and gets incredibly focused when his favorites are involved, making him a joy to watch. He is also a star pupil whenever snacks are on the table; his high treat-motivation makes him a fast learner and a pleasure to engage with. He truly lives for affection and will often give you a gentle nudge if he thinks you’ve stopped the ear scratches a little too soon. Krieg has found the hustle and bustle of the shelter environment a bit stressful, and as a result, he is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He is ready to soak up all your attention for himself, and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty and devoted companionship. Krieg is a resilient, loving soul who is more than ready to trade his kennel for a real home. If you have room in your heart—and plenty of space on your sofa—for a big marshmallow of a dog, Krieg is waiting to meet you.

Story
This pet is is heartworm positive, but don't let that break your heart! We have a treatment plan ready to go and we are covering 100% of the costs at our facility. You bring the belly rubs, and we’ll handle the rest. EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Eager FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Outgoing PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Tolerant LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Sometimes Meet Sasha, a one-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who is so incredibly sweet she probably should have been named "Sugar." This gentle "wiggle butt" originally came to us from Animal Control and is still searching for that perfect match. Sasha is looking for a "furever" family that truly understands the heart of a young dog—one who recognizes that she isn't just a pet, but a partner who craves mental stimulus, physical enrichment, and lots of love. Sasha is a top-tier cuddlebug who loves to lean her whole weight into you for a hug, making her a star Doggy Date candidate. She is a dream on a leash, knows her basic commands, and is likely house-trained. When she’s not busy being a lap dog, she’s a total toy enthusiast—whether it’s a durable hard toy, a fuzzy soft friend, or a classic tennis ball, she is highly toy-motivated and ready to play. If you have the time to keep her smart mind busy and her heart full of affection, Sasha will reward you with a lifetime of sweetness.

Story
EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Eager FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Outgoing PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Selective LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Sometimes Meet Lupita, a delightful 3-year-old terrier mix who packs a huge personality into her pint-sized frame. This little dynamo is ready to find her special place in a loving home! Lupita is an absolute dream outside the house: Car Companion: Everyone who takes her out agrees she is the perfect Passenger Princess, wishing she were small enough to be a lap dog while you drive. Leash Manners: She sticks right by your side on walks and enjoys quietly watching the world go by (she’s fascinated by kids playing and squirrels!). -Love to Make a Splash- Lupita's love for water is truly unmatched! Whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool or frolicking in a shallow stream, she’s all about making a splash and having fun. Her enthusiasm for water play is guaranteed to provide endless entertainment for her future family. -A Focus on Success- Lupita is a very smart and active dog, and like many terriers, she needs a consistent routine to feel her best! To help her feel secure and channel her energy when she's left alone, she would greatly benefit from continued training, such as positive reinforcement for crating. This simple step will help her feel safe and relaxed while you're away. -A Deep, Trusting Bond- This sweet terrier mix is an observer, and she takes a moment to assess new people. Once she feels comfortable and secure, she reveals her true cuddly and affectionate side. Lupita is ready to snuggle up and form a deep, lasting bond with the patient and understanding family who earns her trust. In summary, Lupita is a sweet and energetic pup who’s always up for fun! Tennis balls and a good two-toy trade are top favorites, and this smart girl already knows a few tricks. She’s a peanut butter enthusiast, a pro at leaning in for butt rubs, and when playtime winds down, she’s just as happy to lounge by your side. Pita loves people and is ready to bring her mix of playful energy and snuggly charm to a forever home.
