Story
Ebby” or “Eb” short for Ebinezer. Eb looks to be a mix of German Shepherd and is neutered, and current on shots. This guy had been in a shelter in for quite a while. Due to lack of foot traffic and adopters we had him transferred here. He is quiet, respects a fence and gets along with all female dogs here at the rescue, males he is selective. He would love to be either an only dog or have a sister. He has a fairly strong prey drive and cannot be around cats, or small dogs. Eb's favorite toy is a squeaky ball that he eagerly anticipates you to throwing. He seems to love all people and older kids (we don't have little kids). He keeps a clean kennel and waits for you to let him out to go potty. He’s going to be up for any adventure that has you in it. Apply to meet and/or adopt him! He’s a good one! Please read our adoption policies BEFORE inquiring to adopt a pet. If you wish to meet a pet shown here, please fill out and application posted on our main Petfinder Page or copy and paste this link. https://forms.gle/dGz75whm2hFT2fej7 You may also submit a letter of introduction via email to angieoneill88@gmail.com describing the home you can provide. Please include such things as if you own or rent and what type of fencing you have. If no fencing include acreage. Also describe other pets and children in the home . PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM folder for replies as they end up there sometimes. Keep in mind, we are two women with full time jobs, we volunteer to run this Rescue and foster these dogs in our homes. We have families and farms of our own we take care of as well. We will give you all the time we can but, ask for your patience and attention to detail to make the application process flow smoothly and as quickly as possible.

Story
Damon is a 6-month-old hound/collie mix who is just starting out in the world. He had a rough beginning and is still learning what it means to feel safe and confident. He’s full of energy and curiosity, with a bright spirit that shines more every day Training & What He Needs: Damon has a lot to learn and will need patience, consistency, and gentle guidance as he grows. He’s early in his training and will do best with positive reinforcement and a calm, understanding approach. With time and structure, he has so much potential. Ideal Home: Damon is looking for an adopter who understands that trust takes time. Someone who can offer patience, routine, and encouragement will help him blossom into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. An active home that’s willing to grow alongside him would be a great match

Story
Awoooo! 🎤🐾 Oh — hi. Sorry. I was just warming up for my latest single. I’m Franky, a 4-year-old Hound/Pit mix, and yes… I do have a lot to say. Some call it “barking.” I call it artistic expression. I’m part dog, part professional singer, and part podcast director. My show mostly covers important topics like “Why Dinner Should Never Be Late” and “The Emotional Depth of Squeaky Toys.” I’m very passionate about my work. But behind the voice? I’m actually a pretty simple guy. I love the good stuff in life — splashing in water, carrying around a ball (returning it is negotiable), and lounging on the couch next to my favorite human. I’ll admit something straight from my hit song “Awooo”… I’m mostly all talk. I’ll hype up a big game of fetch, then decide chewing the toy and slobbering lovingly on your hand is way more rewarding. Attention? Yes please. Especially from my people. I form deep connections, and once I know you’re mine, I’m loyal, affectionate, and always ready to hang out. After a few trials and errors — none of them my fault, by the way — I’m just looking for a home that appreciates a vocal, outgoing boy with a big personality. I might remind you when dinner is late. I might announce when it’s time for play. I might sing you the song of my people when I’m excited. But I promise, it all comes from a place of love. Hee at CAC, I enjoy playgroups as long as the other dogs can handle a fun, energetic guy like me. I do best with confident buddies who aren’t bothered by a little enthusiasm. If you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, couch cuddles, and a built-in soundtrack to your life… I’m ready to headline your home. Awoooo yours truly, Franky 🎶🐶

Story
Hi there! I’m Clara Bell 💁‍♀️🐾 I made my way to CAC through animal control, so my friends here are still getting to know all my likes and dislikes—but one thing’s already clear: I’m a happy, bright girl with a lot of love (and personality) to give. I’d really shine in a home that enjoys consistent training, long walks, and spending quality time together. Structure helps me feel confident, and once I’ve got that, I’m all smiles and tail wags. Now, let’s talk about the important stuff: fashion. I love a friend with a good eye for style. I enjoy striking a pose, working the camera, and I have absolutely impeccable taste in bark. Statement collars? Seasonal accessories? I’m in. If you’re looking for a walking partner, a training buddy, and a four-legged fashion icon who’s ready to learn and glow up with you—I might just be your girl. 💖🐶

Story
Meet Bruno 🐾 Bruno is a handsome 4-year-old shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger presence. He’s a smart, loyal guy who forms strong bonds with his people and takes his job of being your dog very seriously. Once he knows you’re part of his circle, he’s devoted and eager to please. Bruno would do best with an experienced adopter who understands shepherds and can continue working with him using positive reinforcement. He may show some resource guarding behaviors, so a home that can provide clear structure, consistency, and guidance will help him thrive. With the right match, Bruno has all the makings of a wonderful companion—loyal, intelligent, and ready to build a trusting partnership with someone who’s willing to meet him where he is. 💙
