Story
Summit is an 8 month old yellow lab. He doesn't realize how big he is :) He is goofy and so very clumsy. He has the potential to be an incredible dog. He needs training. He needs kids and another dog. He is wonderful with kids other than he is a jumper. He is very potty trained, crate trained, leash trained and can sit, fetch, stay and loves water. He is picky about his toys, he likes certain ones. He doesn't ruin or chew things other than cardboard boxes. We've had a huge life change and it's not fair to Summit. He doesn't get the attention he needs and wants. He deserves more. We have two dogs and the other one is having to be out down and Summit won't do well without him coupled with our life changes. Thank you.

Story
Ayo is a handsome large dog that appears to be a shepherd lab mix of some sort. He arrived to the Mission from Carbon County Animal Services in Utah when he was past his euthanasia date for lack of space. He is approximately 75lbs and has an estimated birthdate of 01/02/2021.  Ayo is seeking the atypical adopter that may not be suitable to the average dog. He is very much a one person/one family dog, and thrives while riding in the car, so his ideal adopter could be a trucker, van lifer/traveler, rural homebody that may not like to go out often etc. He wants a simple life with a reliable person.  He has learned sit, how to wait at a doorway, loves to go for car rides, aced many amazing adventures into the great outdoors, and has become a great snuggle buddy and showering assistant, carefully licking the water drops off of his person's legs. He also loves to be groomed and took the entire process in stride like an old pro, even leaning into the force dryer to get a better feel of the warm stream of air. Ayo has not been able to acclimate to other animals in a consistent and safe manner, so while he's still very easy to take for walks and other outings in the midst of other animals, it will be the safest option for him to be the only animal in the home. He is also very over aroused around small children, so a home with teens and up would be ideal.  Ayo's best feature is that he loves playing ball, and he's so eager to fetch that it's by and large the simplest path to teach him. Ayo also has a nice willing personality naturally which will help him learn new skills and trust more environments and people without shutting down.  Ayo comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee is $200 and includes his leash, martingale collar, herm sprenger prong collar, ID tag, food sample and paperwork. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy!  ##1472725##

Story
Welah is a pretty, muscular, and energetic Boxer American Pit Bull Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of 07/09/2020. She came to Murci's Mission after being picked up stray and going unclaimed in Chewelah. First and foremost, Welah is the snuggle queen. If you've been dreaming of a dog that sleeps under the blankets with their head on the pillows and thrives on being the little spoon, THISISYOURDOG Welah is very loving to people of all ages and sizes, and would do fine in a home with children.  She kmows basic skills and is presently crate trained and house trained with a number of basic obedience commands. She has developed great leash manners over the months of time at Murci's Mission, and she's able to be a great walking and jogging companion.  Welah's ideal family would be home bodies with a secure yard for exercise, or an active family committed to managing her manners in public. She loves going for walks, playing fetch, and she would be excellent at weight pull, carting, or other strength based sports. She's a 10/10 car ride companion and loves road trips. Welah has also been improving in her dog to dog social skills and is now suitable for a home with other balanced and fair dogs. She would still be far too overstimulated in a dog park or public beach type setting, however she's quite easy to handle on lead even in crowded areas when using the prong collar. Welah currently cohabitates with dogs, cats, and a toddler and she's tolerant of everyone, and especially fond of kids.  Welah comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a sample of her food, medical records, leash, collar, herm sprenger prong collar and ID tag. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  Thank you for checking out our girl!  ##1769428##

Story
Chase is a hilarious and energetic ChiBull mutt of some sort with an estimated birthdate of 12/13/2022. He came to the Mission during a medical crisis in which his family had run out of funds and options to care for him. If it's a disaster, it's probably happened to poor Chase in his first 10 months of life. He has had his leg broken, suffers from a neurological wobble of unknown origin, and barely scraped by when we received him and treated him for a very severe respiratory infection and pneumonia. Chase is also extremely unsocialized, having clearly missed the mark on experiencing the world through positive and predictable interactions with the stimulus around him and he can be very fearful when encountering new things.  Chase will be the kind of dog who needs a dedicated adopter who is not a push over and can set a clear path to success for him when it comes to socializing. There should be very little tolerance for reactivity and disproportionate responses to things that are not worth being afraid of, and there should be ample praise and reward for calmness and reasonable responses to the sights and sounds of the world.  At this time Chase still wobbles when he walks, and although we don't know the origin of the instability, we have seen remarkable improvement and expect he will maintain or continue to improve, however without a clear diagnosis, there is a possibility that future degeneration in stability is possible.  Chase has great potential as a companion in a quiet home or with someone who like a mild degree of adventure. He would be a good road trip and travel buddy, but he would also be satisfied to be a home body and just be your constant friend while the years pass by. Loyalty is hard to come by these days, but Chase is willing to be your reminder that there's still plenty to find when you look in the right places.  Chase comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $300 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating, a leash, collar, and ID tag. To be considered to adopt Chase, please visit www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy! ##1824775##
