Looking for a furry BFF who's all about that deep canine connection? Meet Mabel Marie! 🐾 This 3-year-old Malinois x German Shepherd mix is more than just a pet – she's a devoted partner in crime ready to join you on all of life's adventures. Mabel Marie is super smart and incredibly connected to her person, making her the ultimate doggy partner. She's a pro at training and already knows all the basics like sit, come, leave it, and more. Plus, she walks like a dream on a leash, staying attentive to her handler every step of the way. But don't think Mabel Marie is all work and no play! She's just medium-energy and enjoys a bit of exercise each day to keep her happy. Whether it's hanging out on the couch for a Netflix marathon, exploring the yard, or going for leash walks and car rides, she's up for anything as long as she's with you. What Mabel Marie loves most of all is hearing how good she is – your praise and positive vibes mean the world to her. She's motivated by your connection and wants nothing more than to be your faithful sidekick. While she's lived with other dogs and kids and enjoys playing with both, a home without small animals is best for her. Whether she joins a family or becomes your one and only, Mabel Marie is looking for someone who's home a lot – she's not a fan of extended crate time and misses you when you're apart. Ready for the perfect partner to share both adventures and quiet moments? Mabel Marie is ready to cuddle, go for walks, and love you with all her heart. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
MEET BAGEL🥯 Bagel is 1 1/2 years old and is a total love bug. He is a blend of American Staffy Terrier and Carolina Dog. He is about 95 lbs but doesn’t understand his size when he wants to sit on your lap. He is partially blind from head trauma he had as a puppy. This does not stop him in any way, and you wouldn’t notice it in his every day life, unless you move a piece of furniture. He loves the outdoors and spending as much time as he can out there with his person or his dog friends. He is learning to come back when called. He sits to go outside, to get his food, and to come out of his kennel. He has potty trained. He sleeps on his bed with a blanket at night and loves to be as close to his Hooman as he can be. Unfortunately, due to his head trauma as a young puppy, he has some reactionary behaviors. He has excitatory peeing when he’s meeting somebody new or extremely excited. But he wears a male wrap just fine. He is also unable to get himself up on the bed or in vehicles without assist. He has some food aggression, but does good when he is put into his secure spot to eat. He currently lives with four other female dogs, and is best pals with one of them. And loves to play! The others he does display some herding, bullying, and has been aggressive with another one over toys. He lives with a cat who he is too curious about, so a home with no cats would be best. We feel the best home for Bagel would be one with either a male dog, or perhaps an alpha female. He does like to play with a male dog that comes over to visit and they get along great! He also gets along with the alpha female in the house really well. He will need training to work on the food, aggression and some manners.

INTRODUCING ARES!🐾 Ares is a 2 year old registered pure bred Siberian Husky that is ready to find his “furever” home! NO CATS OR LIVESTOCK, ESPECIALLY CHICKENS! Ares seems to do well with the female dogs in the foster home, but does not play nice (at least through the barriers) with the male dogs in the home. He is very well behaved otherwise. He sits for treats and takes them gently, lets you know when he needs to go outside for potty, and loves belly rubs. He has done well with the dog respectful kids in the home, but he is quite big, so would recommend older kids. He loves to play with a ball, and just wants to play. He is really good about going into his kennel, although he will tell you how much he dislikes it. If you are interested in Ares please send PAWS Rescue inc a message! His adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, vaccinations and microchip. Thank you Kelsee and Josh Gabel for fostering this beautiful guy! Thank you to “Marked in Time” Photography for this stunning pic of Ares.❤️

Story
MEET SKY Sky is a sweet and tiny Labrador blend. She is approximately 2 years old, weighs 41 lbs and is ready to find her “furever” home. Sky is a huge love bug, but does have some stranger danger when she first meets people. Slow intros are a must for her to have the confidence that she is safe. She was abused by one of her former owners and is loving the safety and security she is feeling in her foster home. She just needs a family that will show her how much they love her, and she’ll 100% reciprocate that love. She is eager to please and loves to be where you are. She needs some work on her manners, but she does listen really well and knows basic commands. Working on crate training and she is potty trained. She would thrive in a home that has another playful dog her size or larger. Has done well with the cats in the home and smaller dogs but can be a little rough in play with them. She has not been around smaller children, that we are aware of, so a home with kids 10+ would be best. Sky does have food aggression and will need to be fed separately from other dogs, and also treat time. If you are interested in this sweet girl please send PAWS Rescue inc a message. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her vaccines, spay, dewormers and microchip. Thank you to Kate and Dave Bridges for opening your heart and home to Sky.💕 Photo Credit:Traci B Photography
