Story
Meet Indy – The Spirited Little Kelpie with a Big Heart At just 3 years old and around 40 pounds, Indy may be small in size, but she’s bursting with personality, intelligence, and love. This Kelpie–Cattle Dog mix is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate — a lively companion who adores her people and thrives on interaction. Indy is currently in private training to help fine-tune her manners and work on her prey drive, and she’s making wonderful progress. She’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and food-motivated, which makes training sessions a joy. This sweet girl loves: Running the fence line and chatting with the neighbor dogs through the knotholes (she’s a social butterfly!). Helping in the garden, where she proudly “hunts” grasshoppers and voles — it’s her version of pest control! Watching out the window while you’re away, then greeting you like it’s been years, even if you just took the trash out. Playing with kids — she adores them and has a fun, gentle energy that matches well with families. Indy is well-behaved in the home, even when left alone, and though she isn’t crate-trained, she doesn’t need to be. She’s doing great with her basic commands and is learning better leash manners — a gentle over-the-nose leash helps her walk beautifully. She enjoys playing with other dogs but can be selective, so slow, proper introductions are key. Due to her background and instincts, she should avoid German Shepherds, as that’s one breed she doesn’t get along with well. Indy’s Ideal Home: A family with children or active adults who love to engage with their dog A secure fenced yard to explore and play Possibly a compatible dog companion (with good intros!) Someone patient and consistent who will continue her positive training Her Story Before rescue, Indy was a working ranch dog who’d fallen on hard times. Injured and pregnant, she was left to fend for herself outdoors through harsh winter conditions. She was found having dug a hole in the frozen ground to shelter her seven pups — Pearl, Opal, Jade, Arrow, River, Ash, and Archer — keeping them warm until help arrived. Her strength and devotion saved them all. Now, safe and healed, Indy is thriving in her foster home in Kimberly, Idaho, and is so ready for her forever family. Her foster loves her dearly and is even sponsoring 50% of her adoption fee to help her find the perfect match. Story
Meet Jasper – Laid-Back Husky with two different color eyes Looking for His Forever Couch (and Family) Jasper is an almost 1-year-old Husky with a gentle soul and an easygoing personality that sets him apart from the typical high-energy stereotype. Jasper previously suffered a leg break that healed on its own and isn’t surgically correctable—but don’t let that worry you. It doesn’t slow him down much at all, and he lives a happy, comfortable life. He simply prefers a calmer pace and would much rather lounge inside than bounce off the walls. About Jasper: • Almost 1 year old • Knows basic commands • Submissive and sweet — will happily roll over for belly rubs • Loves being brushed (spa days are his favorite!) • Good with dogs and cats • Calm, laid-back temperament • Enjoys indoor time and relaxing with his people Jasper is one of those rare huskies who truly appreciates the quiet moments. He’s affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. He would thrive in a home looking for a loyal companion who enjoys cozy evenings, soft brushes, and being close to his humans. If you’re searching for a mellow husky with a heart of gold, Jasper might be your perfect match. To apply to adopt Jasper, please submit an application at: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net As always, Friends Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Story
Delta Dawn’s Valentine Litter introducing BABY (male) Bottle Baby Born: February 12, 2026 Breed Mix: Boxer / Blue Nose Pit Bull Terrier mix (father unknown) On February 12, 2026, Delta Dawn delivered 11 beautiful puppies by emergency C-section. Their start in life has been anything but typical. Shortly after surgery, Delta suffered severe medical complications that required additional surgery and intensive emergency care. During her hospitalization and recovery, she became critically ill and had to be transferred for advanced treatment. Because of this, her puppies were never able to nurse or bond with their mother. They have been bottle-fed since day one and lovingly raised by humans around the clock. While they are thriving, they did not have the benefit of learning early dog-to-dog communication from their mom. About the Puppies • 11 pups with a wide variety of colors and markings • Mom is a Boxer / Blue Nose Pit Bull mix • Father is unknown — based on the diversity in size, structure, and coloring, he could range anywhere from a St. Bernard to a Collie-type mix • Personalities are beginning to emerge — playful, curious, affectionate Baby is one of the smaller pups of the litter, not quite the runt but a close third or fourth. Given their unique start, these puppies would benefit greatly from a home with a stable, tolerant adult dog who can help teach them appropriate canine behavior and social skills. While they are well-socialized with people, having a confident older dog role model would give them an important advantage as they grow. Only time will tell how large they will be or which traits will shine through — that is part of the beauty of a true rescue mix. Adoption Information Applications are now being accepted. Puppies will not be ready to go home until they have received their 2nd and/or 3rd vaccinations and are medically cleared. Adoption donation includes: • Age-appropriate vaccinations • Rabies vaccine • DAPP (DPAV) series • Spay or neuter • Microchip To apply, please visit: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net Friends Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. These puppies fought for life from their very first breath. Now they are ready to grow up knowing stability, guidance, and love.

Story
Bonded Best Friends Seeking a Home Together Estimated to be around 2 years old, Rose and Daisy are a devoted little duo who truly rely on one another. They were found together at a local truck stop, staying close and refusing to be separated—a clear sign of the bond they share. Whatever they have experienced in the past, they have faced it side by side. Their exact breed mix is unknown, but they appear to be small Terrier-type mixes with that classic Idaho “shaggy” charm. What they lack in pedigree, they more than make up for in personality. About Rose and Daisy A bonded pair who must stay together Loyal, playful, and curious once comfortable Small, scruffy, and full of character Initially cautious in new situations but warm up with patience and kindness These girls will need a gentle, understanding home where they can settle in at their own pace. With time, they show just how loving and joyful they can be, rewarding their people with double the affection and companionship. Whether you choose to foster or adopt, giving Rose and Daisy a home together is a meaningful way to help two deserving dogs finally feel safe and secure. Adoption special: Adopt one, and the second is free (single adoption fee covers both dogs). Located in Boise, Idaho Apply to foster or adopt at: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net
