Story
Meet Tony! This handsome older pup came to Iowa from an overwhelmed shelter in Oklahoma. Now he is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, and very reliably crate trained! Tony is a friendly, exuberant boy who needs to learn basic manners. He loves attention and is very food motivated! Our special price for his adoption allows his lucky family to invest in his training, treats, and toys! Look in his eyes, and you'll know that this sweet soul hasn't always been treated well, but he still believes in human kindness. That said, Tony can be selective with his doggo friends.

Story
Check out this handsome guy! Wally was surrendered to us when his owners were unable to keep him and his 3 other pup friends who have found new homes now! He is a 1.5-year-old Spaniel/Pit mix. He still has a lot of puppy energy, but he is on the smaller side, just over 30 lbs.! Wally is looking for a home without kitties but could possibly be placed in a home with another dog with slow introductions. He would do best with a bit more submissive dog. Wally loves to play in water, fetch toys, and zoom around. He is fiercely loyal and loves his human. While he is ready for any and all adventures, he also loves to snuggle up with you and relax while getting some pets. He never misses a meal and prefers all of the treats! He is a chewer and enjoys Nylabone's and other tough dog toys...although, he will always succeed in destroying them. Wally definitely could benefit from more one on one training teaching some basic skills. He’s working on potty training and boundaries in his foster home! He’s a goody and friendly dog who’s sure to bring a lot of joy your way. He LOVES to go on walks and does excellent on a leash!

Story
Marshall is an 8-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love! Recently transferred from another shelter, he’s settling into his new life and showing just how sweet and friendly he is. Marshall enjoys spending time with people of all ages and has a calm, gentle nature that makes him an easy companion. While Marshall’s past wasn’t the easiest—spending his days crated and neglected—he’s now in a much better place, happy, healthy, and ready to find his forever family. He loves playing with toys and has a joyful, playful side sure to steal some hearts. Marshall would thrive in a home that can offer him love, attention, and stability. He does well with people but would need a proper meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit with another dog. Unfortunately, he cannot live with cats. Marshall’s adoption fee is $175 and includes his neuter, microchip, heartworm test and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and dewormer. If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion, Marshall is waiting to meet you! You can apply to adopt Marshall at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 and look for our online adoption questionnaire. Or, you can stop by to meet him Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm!
