Story
I am a Havanese breeder who has decided to retire from breeding. Phoebe was one of my pups I kept for breeding. She turns 5 yrs old in May and has only had two litters. I was never able to give her the attention she needed and therefore she is very shy. She has separation anxiety and barks when left alone. She is not potty trained or leash trained. She needs someone who has time to spend with her and train her. She is shy and fearful of strangers so her new owner needs to have time, patience and experience with socializing & training dogs. No kids. She seems to enjoy the company of other non-aggressive small dogs. Not currently UTD on vaccines but willing to get her UTD before adoption. No known physical issues and she is Embark DNA tested. And I just gave her a grooming! Here is a short video of her: https://youtube.com/shorts/Eo3gMS5MbGo?feature=share

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Miss Polar Bear — “Polar” for short! ❄️   This sweet, smart girl absolutely loves being with her people and hasn’t met a stranger yet—she truly loves everyone she meets. Polar is currently living in a foster home with large dogs and cats. She enjoys trying to play with the cats (she’s still learning they may not feel the same way ).   Polar is crate-trained and stays in her crate when her foster is away or at night for her safety. She’s doing great with potty training, with only a few accidents since arriving in her foster home. She already knows how to sit and will go to her crate when asked—such a smart girl!   She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and receives monthly heartworm prevention.   A little more about Polar:   Born: September 19, 2025 Breed: German Shepherd / Alaskan Malamute mix Personality: Intelligent, eager to please, and quick to learn Energy level: Active—she’ll thrive in a home that can keep her engaged     Polar is currently learning leash skills and boundaries like staying in the yard and coming when called. She’s making great progress but will need continued training and consistency to help her fully master these skills.   As a Shepherd/Malamute mix, she does shed, and she doesn’t mind bath time. With warmer weather coming, we’re excited to see how she enjoys a doggie pool!   Polar would be an excellent candidate for puppy classes. She has so much potential and is looking for a family willing to invest time, love, and guidance into helping her become the amazing dog she’s meant to be.   If you have any questions, please reach out to the rescue. If you’re interested in meeting Polar, please complete an application—we’d love for you to meet this incredible girl!        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate April 28, 2026, 2:16 pm

Story
Archie is a stunning Husky/Malamute mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly loving, loyal, and thrives on being around his people. Unlike many huskies, Archie is on the quieter side—he doesn’t “talk,” but he shows his affection through gentle presence, tail wags, and staying close to you. He has a goofy side too, often turning simple moments into something fun and entertaining. Archie can be a little stubborn at times, so he does best with someone patient who understands his independent nature. He enjoys long walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when included in daily life—whether that’s outdoor adventures or relaxing at home. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal, and slightly goofy best friend, Archie is your guy.

Story
Meet Alice, a beautiful American Akita with a calm soul and a heart full of quiet affection. She’s the perfect balance of independence and companionship—happy to relax by your side, yet confident enough to keep herself content. Alice carries herself with grace and a gentle presence that brings a sense of peace to any home. Despite her calm nature, Alice is full of life. She enjoys exploring, observing her surroundings, and spending time outdoors. She’s well-socialized and does great around people, showing a sweet and respectful personality. She isn’t overly demanding, making her a great match for someone who appreciates a dog with both character and composure. Alice thrives in an environment where she’s given space, love, and consistency. Story
Daisy’s entire body wiggles when she’s excited because she loves people more than life itself. You’d never guess she’s been hiding a life-altering secret. Not long after being abandoned at our shelter, Daisy started to limp.X-rays revealed she has an acute ACL tear. Even more heartbreaking, her other ACL had also ruptured sometime in the past. Her body created enough scar tissue to make that leg semi-stable, but it was a fragile fix to a painful problem.A recent consultation at BluePearl Animal Hospital has confirmed our worst fears: Daisy’s ACLs are torn on both of her back legs.Daisy desperately needs surgery on both legs to live the pain-free, joy-filled life she deserves. With a donation of any amount towards her life-saving journey, you’ll help give this relentlessly happy girl the chance to run, bounce, and wiggle into a wonderful future without pain.Stay tuned for updates on this incredible girl’s journey. Together, we can help make the world a better place, one life at a time. Thank you for saving lives with us.
