I am a Havanese breeder who has decided to retire from breeding. I had Phoebe up for adoption this summer but she had come into heat earlier than expected and ended up pregnant so I had to suspend her adoption until now. I was never able to give Phoebe the time and attention she needed and therefore she is very shy. She has some separation anxiety and often barks when left alone. She is not potty trained or fixed. She needs someone who has time to spend with her and train her. She is shy and fearful of strangers so her new owner needs to have time, patience and experience with socializing & training dogs. No kids. She seems to enjoy the company of other non-aggressive small dogs and having the company of another dog helps her anxiety. UTD on core vaccines but rabies will need to be updated. No known physical issues. Not AKC registered but she is Embark DNA breed and health tested. Message me for more info.

We believe him to be half coonhound and half lab. Winston is… High Energy Crate & Potty Trained Kid Friendly Dog friendly (AFTER a slow intro) His biggest areas of opportunity are impulse control, learning to embrace moments of calm even when exciting things are happening, and greeting other dogs, especially while on leash. While he lives with a cat now he does want to chase him. He doesn’t seem to want to hurt him but is still working on “leave it” so he’d do best in home with no cats at this time. Winston loves all people and is sweet as pie, but he needs a home with another playful dog and/or acreage to run. His recall is decent and he’ll run a property and come back when called, as long as he’s not mid small critter chase (he is part coonhound after all!). If you’re in a place to take on a project with a whole lot of love and play to give, Winston may be the dog for you!! Despite not having the most stable start to life and being bounced around between a couple of homes, Mack hasn’t let it dim his spirit. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy just waiting for the right person to give him the love and stability he deserves. Mack is great with other dogs and is currently living with 3 other coonhounds in his foster home. He does need a home without children, and he would do best with someone who understands hounds and is willing to give him patience, consistency, and time to settle in. This handsome guy LOVES going for walks and will absolutely let you know when he spots deer or other critters He’s proud of his beautiful hound voice, so a house would likely be a better fit for him than an apartment. Mack is crate trained and likes sleeping in his crate with his blanket. He’s also a big fan of attention — he’ll lean right into you for pets or flop over for belly rubs whenever he gets the chance. He’s got pep in his step and flap in his giant ears. However, it is very clear that he has been through some trauma in the last few years, which has resulted in resource guarding behavior around food-related items. He also sometimes needs his space and requires that his people pet him only when he asks for attention. The good news? He shows none of this behavior toward other dogs and his triggers can be managed with some careful set-up of his environment. The better news? Benny has been working on learning new behaviors with the help of a professional trainer. He will continue to need reinforcement of these new behaviors in his new home. Benny needs to go to a home with adults only. Not because he doesn’t like kids, but because kids have a harder time with following the systems required to keep everyone safe. He would be happy with or without furry siblings and has lived with dogs, a cat, and a rabbit. This sweet boy hasn’t met a human yet who he doesn’t immediately think is his new best friend! He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel like you’ve been best friends forever! Champ is a retired hunting beagle who was lovingly surrendered when his owner began experiencing health issues. He was well cared for and described as being good with children and other dogs. His experience with cats is unknown. His former owner also shared that Champ is fast and strong and would take off if given the opportunity, so he should not be allowed off leash in an unsecured area. Because of this, his forever family will need a secure, fenced-in backyard where he can safely enjoy his beagle adventures.
