Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Winston A 1.5 year old sweet agent of chaos who needs some work but is worth the effort! We believe him to be half coonhound and half lab. Winston is… High Energy Crate & Potty Trained Kid Friendly Dog friendly (AFTER a slow intro) His biggest areas of opportunity are impulse control, learning to embrace moments of calm even when exciting things are happening, and greeting other dogs, especially while on leash. While he lives with a cat now he does want to chase him. He doesn’t seem to want to hurt him but is still working on “leave it” so he’d do best in home with no cats at this time. Winston loves all people and is sweet as pie, but he needs a home with another playful dog and/or acreage to run. His recall is decent and he’ll run a property and come back when called, as long as he’s not mid small critter chase (he is part coonhound after all!).  If you’re in a place to take on a project with a whole lot of love and play to give, Winston may be the dog for you!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate September 5, 2026, 9:07 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mack Mack is a 2-year-old Bluetick Coonhound looking for his forever home. Despite not having the most stable start to life and being bounced around between a couple of homes, Mack hasn’t let it dim his spirit. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy just waiting for the right person to give him the love and stability he deserves. Mack is great with other dogs and is currently living with 3 other coonhounds in his foster home. He does need a home without children, and he would do best with someone who understands hounds and is willing to give him patience, consistency, and time to settle in. This handsome guy LOVES going for walks and will absolutely let you know when he spots deer or other critters He’s proud of his beautiful hound voice, so a house would likely be a better fit for him than an apartment. Mack is crate trained and likes sleeping in his crate with his blanket. He’s also a big fan of attention — he’ll lean right into you for pets or flop over for belly rubs whenever he gets the chance. Mack may have a few quirks that make him a little harder to place, but underneath it all he’s a loving, loyal dog who simply needs his special person. If you’re hound-savvy and looking for a companion with lots of personality and love to give, Mack could be your perfect match ❤️  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate September 5, 2026, 9:07 am

Fenced yard required Fostered near Britton, MI https://www.collierescue.org/dogs/2054 Murray is a smart, energetic, and affectionate young Collie with a big personality and love for his people. He enjoys treats, toys, and a good game of fetch, and he’s always eager to learn, making him a rewarding match for an active home that can offer structure, playtime, and continued guidance as he grows into the wonderful companion he is meant to be. This handsome boy is fully housebroken, comfortable in a crate, and settles well when left alone. He has learned not to destroy his toys, is improving with waiting at doors, and comes when called. Murray is highly intelligent and loves to learn—he even figured out how to let himself back inside by using a lever-style doorknob! Murray thrives on attention and affection. He loves to be part of whatever his family is doing. One of his favorite things is greeting his foster mom with morning snuggles. He responds well to treats, chews, toys, and calm, consistent routines. He navigates stairs with ease and has done well with grooming after overcoming his initial fear of the high-velocity dryer. Murray gets along well with other dogs and cats. He enjoys canine companionship but is still learning appropriate play manners and can be a bit exuberant at times. A family willing to provide supervision, structure, and continued guidance will help him continue making great progress. Because Murray can be sensitive to certain sights and sounds outside of the fence, he would do best in a quieter environment with minimal outside distractions. A dog savvy, active home with a securely fenced yard, clear expectations, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment will be ideal for this bright young Collie. Murray is a happy, affectionate Collie who is ready to share his heart with a family of his own. With continued guidance, patience, and love, he will grow into a wonderful companion and a loyal best friend for years to come. Story
I got her from my mom because my mom moved locations and she couldn’t keep her, she is about 7-8 years old, very playful and cuddly, loves to give kisses and play with babies, she will try to cuddle with babies but is a little too much into space taking. She will take a few to adjust to new people, she will bark and get low until she adjusts.
