Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Piper is a sweet girl with loads of energy. She loves to play fetch with her foster parents and play with her fur brother. She is too energetic for her senior foster dog sister and has knocked both dogs over at times. She is interested in meeting cats but will need to be supervised with them. She is a speed demon running in the yard and many times bounces instead of running. She is timid around men, new things, and new places. Due to this, she will need a patient forever home who will continue to let her explore new things at her own pace. She does warm up quickly with women and gives lots of kisses. She would do best in a quiet home with another playful dog. She is still working on potty training. She knows sit, lay down, and is working on wait and off. She is very food motivated and extremely smart. Her foster family thinks she would do great at agility training. Piper is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate September 25, 2023, 10:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miss Bell. This girl is goofy! She is ready to find her forever home. She needs another dog in the home. She is fine with cats and has not been around kids but older may be better. She is about a year and a half old.  Bell is a chewer! She will find anything and chew it. Her fav is cat toys, sandals and things she isn’t suppose to have.‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 She tends to drag a 20 ft lead in the yard because she thinks it’s a game when it’s time to come in. She comes to the door to bark like she wants in, but she really wants someone to play with her she loves to be outside.  She was a hunting dog, probably failed hunting dog. She likes to talk, a lot! So not ideal for an apartment. A yard is a must with a fence!  She is a fear dog who has come along well. She needs exposure to new things and places, with patience. She is a cuddler, sleeps in bed at night. Still working on potty training, she is caged when left. She is very puppy like.  If your interested in adopting Miss Bell, please complete the adoption application.have questions, reach out!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate September 25, 2023, 10:40 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Juke. He is a little over 1 year old and has tons of puppy energy! He's a Lilac Beagle mix so we has beautiful coloring, golden eyes, and long ears. Juke is extremely smart and learns quickly. He will definitely need a walk or two everyday to wear him out (still learning to walk nice on a leash.) He would be a great with an active family. He absolutely loves to chew on things(puppy) and most definitely eat! Right now, Juke lives with 2 other dogs, a cat, and 2 young girls - ages 4 & 8.  He loves to chase the cat, but doesnt harm her. He allows the young girls to play fetch with him and pet him. He's learning to play gently with other dogs and people.  He is neutered, vaccines and current on heartworm meds. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi there! I’m Milo! I’m just about the cutest and sweetest little beagle you’ll meet. I love to be around people and other dogs. My foster mom had two other dogs and we got along very well. I’ve also been in a home with children and am very good with them too. I haven’t been around cats so I’m not sure how I’d do with them. I have a lot of typical beagle traits: I follow my nose where it takes me. Sometimes that’s finding a way to escape through the fence and other times it can be jumping up on the furniture to look out the windows. I definitely want my new adopters to know that about me. I hate crates but can sometimes be destructive when I’m left alone. I’d be best if I had a laundry room I could be left in where there’s not much to damage. But don’t let that shy you away from me. When I settle down I am as sweet as pie. I love to spoon with my foster mom and keep my head on her lap while I sleep. I love to run and wrestle with other dogs. I’m heart worm negative, neutered and microchipped. I’m ready to find my forever home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Arthur! I’m a young guy, estimated to be about 2  years old. I came from Ohio but don’t know much about myself before that. My foster mom has fallen deeply in love with me and wants to make sure I go to the very best home. I  am great with other dogs. I love to wrestle and do “zoomies” with the other dogs in my foster home so it’d be great to have a buddy. I am a typical beagle in a lot of ways. I try to escape from my fenced yard (and am sometimes successful) to follow my nose, but I don’t tend to go too far. I also have recently decided garbage is fun to get into but don’t do it all the time. I’m not much into being crated but understand I may need to be sometimes when you leave me alone. After I’ve expended my energy I am the sweetest, most loving baby. I curl up on the bed and just rest up. I sleep with my foster mom now and am perfect once it’s time to settle down. I love my food and treats. I’m still learning how to sit and not jump up. I’d do best in a fenced in yard with room to roam, sniff and run. I haven’t been around kids but imagine I would do well with them. I’m up to date on all shots, neutered and heartworm negative. I did test positive for being exposed to Lyme but don’t exhibit any symptoms and have been on a month long protocol to address it. I can’t wait to find my forever home. If you have any questions, please ask. My foster mom is happy to answer any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate September 25, 2023, 10:40 pm

Story
We are heartbroken to announce that Chorizo has returned to our care. Many of you followed Chorizo's shelter journey as he made the incredible transformation from a stubborn, anxious pup into a well-trained superstar who became well-known throughout our community under the helpful guidance of Ted Aranda. When Chorizo was adopted a few months ago, everyone had high hopes that our special boy had finally found his special place in the world. Without the consistent training regime he was used to, however, Chorizo has started to revert back to the stubborn, bossy dog he used to be. Luckily for Chorizo, Ted Aranda is ready to help him get back on track as soon as he returns to our care.Unfortunately for Chorizo, he's miserable living in a shelter when he isn't working his brain or going on adventures, so we are desperate to find a temporary foster home for him as he searches for his forever family. If you've considered adding Chorizo to your family, he's looking for the following:* An active family to keep up with him,* No other pets,* Preferably local so Ted Aranda can help make your adoption successful,Chorizo has overcame so much in his life already and we're not ready to give up on him.
