Story
Artemis and Athena are approx. 6 years old. They are from the same litter and will need to go together. They both love to be outside and play. They do okay with kids but are nervous and apprehensive around young young kids. Anything older than 8 would be good. They are house trained and do well with other dogs especially once they warm up. They have been around cats but not in a long time so I’m not sure how they would do. They were up to date on shots until recently because of financial trouble and we had a baby. We can no longer meet their needs. I would love to see them go together to a family who loves to do outdoor things and can take them with.

Story
A little about moose. Very friendly, loves fetch, good manners most of the time, loves kids, loves other dogs, good off leash, likes to be outside to play, knows all basic commands. No cats in new home. He does pee in new areas outside to mark. Does well with elderly family members. Does well in family/friends homes. He can pull on leash without harness. Why are we rehoming? Doesn’t get along with our elderly cat. Prey drive behaviors started when we moved 3 years ago. He has hurt/killed 2 stray cats in our backyard. With my toddlers opening and closing the door all day I can’t control when he comes in so I can’t keep the cat away. It’s been causing me a lot of stress the past year. I’ve tried special door locks, dogs gates, anxiety medication from our vet office. I’ve called many dog trainers this year and all but 2 said it would he nearly impossible to train him to stop it and I wouldn’t ever be able to keep him home alone with the cat in the house.

Padme

Australian Shepherd Husky

Female, Adult
Hill AFB, UT
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Padme is dog we adopted in 2017 in New Mexico. We were told her mom had gotten out and gotten pregnant by a neighboring husky, her eyes and coat seem to reflect that. Her temperament is pretty lazy(I’ve been trying to work on her weight but it’s a challenge), she prefers to stay inside, though she does like to get out and run around with her brother. We’ve had minor issues with her and her brother around our small kids. On her side, she generally doesn’t care about the kids; biting has never been a worry, but she is a bit of a bulldozer and has knocked over the kids on her way to the back door, etc. With other dogs, we haven’t had much issues while out on walks, but we’ve had a barking problem when she gets out there with the neighbors dogs.

Story
Anakin is my boy. He’s a good dog with minor issues that are honestly my fault as an owner. We got him in 2017 alongside his sister. I had issues trying to train them that I’ve since chalked up to litter-mate syndrome. We adopted them off of Craigslist, the owner said his Australian shepherd got out and got pregnant by a neighboring husky, Anakin’s eyes and coat reflect that. His temperament is kind of “grumpy old man”. Most of the time he’d just like to exist next to you and not be bothered. He loves to be outside(to the point that his nose has been drying out because I can’t get him to come in) , and we’re moving to a townhouse in another state that won’t have a real yard. On walks, I haven’t had issues with other dogs, in the backyard, he’ll bark initially when the neighbors dogs come out, then he’ll just find a spot to lay down at and vibe. With kids, he’d prefer to be left alone and doesn’t like to be climbed on/have his hair pulled.

We got Niko from Humane Society, he is a sweet dog but is a little rambunctious for our older dog. We work all day and he needs somebody who can play with him and take him into walks. He has seizures, but is very stable now, he hasn't have any in the last 6 months. We love him but he deserves more attention

Story
I am sad to need to do this but I'm allergic. I gave him his make because his ears remind me of Dobby the house elf from Harry Potter. He is sweet Abe a nervous ninny so he needs patient and calm people. His best friend is Muffin my maltipoo who I'm not allergic to. And it would be lovely if someone would take and love them both. They have clothes, toys, furniture because I have spoiled them to pieces. Dobbh needs a home where both adults don't work at the same time. He would get lonely and sad. I just want someone to love him to pieces please Bernard this breaks my heart but I not have asthma and keep getting sick. I'm not asking for money I want someone dedicated to loving him forever.
