Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we saw so many dogs in need, over 100 Pyrs in a hoarding case in NM, we wanted to help. Apollo was the worst case of Lupus out of the boys. Had lived on a chain his whole life. This beautiful, sweet and gentle boy has been in his foster home for several weeks now and has made so much progress! His foster family has learned so much about him.  Apollo is a quiet, for a Pyr, gentle soul. He definitely prefers women, his foster mom is his favorite and who he is the most comfortable around. Other family members are ok but she is the one who gets the snuggles and loves! Apollo lives next door to several neighbor dogs. It has taken him a while to get used to them barking at him, and some he is still afraid of. So this sweet guy needs to be in a home where even the neighbor dogs are friendly towards him.  He is totally house trained, has been from the moment he got to his foster! He is also a dream on a leash! Apollo is respectful around kiddos but they are a bit overwhelming for him. So a home with older kiddos or none would be preferred.  He also really might enjoy a nice, calm, confident female doggo to play with. He's had a couple of play dates and he's really come out of his shell! Apollo needs a patient forever home, where he can continue to progress at his own pace, with a family who understands dogs from hoarding situations can take time.  Apollo is being fostered in Utah.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 11, 2026, 1:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet This Sweet Great Pyrenees Girl Lucy Loo  This sweet girl is a big bundle of love, fluff, and personality! She absolutely loves being outside, where you can usually find her lounging in the sunshine, sniffing around, or happily digging herself a little dirt bed to lay in. Yes, she LOVES to dig and then lay right in the dirt she just dug.  She is a total cuddle bug and loves nothing more than being next to her people, getting ear rubs, and soaking up all the attention she can get. She also loves being brushed, which is a good thing because there is A LOT of fluffy girl to brush! She is not a fan of having her ears cleaned, but unfortunately for her, we make sure it gets done anyway.  She does wonderfully with our cats. She loves to sniff them and will even lay down and relax right alongside them. She has never shown a single ounce of aggression toward our cats. She also gets along well with our Shih Tzu mix. When it comes to meeting other dogs, she does best with proper introductions and should not be rushed into a new friendship. This girl can definitely get excited! She loves to run and sometimes forgets just how BIG she is, so her future family will need to be mindful of her size when she gets the zoomies.  She is also a professional counter surfer, so if you leave food on the counter, consider it officially hers! She LOVES chicken, although sadly she cannot have it because it aggravates her ear allergies. She may disagree with this rule, but we're sticking to it! She takes her job as home guardian seriously and loves watching over her people and her home. She is good with strangers who come to visit and warms up well to people. At the end of the day, though, this girl is just a big, sweet, loving cuddle bug who wants to be part of a family. She has a goofy personality, a gentle heart, and so much love to give. If you're looking for a giant fluffy companion who will make you laugh, keep watch over the house, and happily curl up beside you for some ear scratches, she might just be your girl.    Lucy is being fostered in Henderson, NV  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 17, 2026, 8:17 pm

Zeus found a family but Cinnamon wasn't able to go with him. Luckily one of our wonderful fosters stepped up and we were able to welcome this adorable little girl into rescue! Cinnamon is wonderful with all other dogs but may need just a minute to warm up. She loves people and is great with kids too. She has been known to chase cats. She is learning what it means to be a house dog and she's doing great! This little girl needs to be spayed and then she will be ready to be a wonderful addition to any family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet old girl Dakota, Kota, isn't the first to have her family split up. She found herself losing her home and not much time to find a new one. Thankfully her mom has been able to take her into her apartment with her but she feels Kota is very stressed there, so we're looking for a nice retirement home with a yard for this sweet senior. Kota is currently living with a female dog and doing great! She does like her space when she eats so feeding separately is a must for Kota.  She has been known to be a bit protective when meeting new people and new animals at her home but for her recent trip to the vet and groomer she was absolutely perfect with everyone! Kota is looking for a nice retirement home, somewhere she can come and go from indoors to outside as she pleases and just enjoy her golden years. She is spayed and UTD, being fostered in northern Utah and waiting for just the right home!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 17, 2026, 8:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ERNIE – The rubber duckie heart Ernie is the sweet soul. The snuggler. The curious explorer. He loves other dogs but doesn’t need one — he’d be perfectly happy being your one and only and soaking up the spotlight. Good with other dogs Would be fine as a solo dog Crate trained Knows sit & down Moderate recall (unless he’s busy pondering life) Learning wait, stay, off & loose leash No chickens Cats are also a work in progress He’s active in a “let’s sniff and see where the day takes us” kind of way. A true lover boy. DNA shows Ernie is mostly GSD, Husky and Pyr. A mix that makes him smart, handsome and fun! Ernie is being fostered in Utah. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we took Kumo into rescue, we thought he was an Akbash mix. Rarely do we do DNA testing but his foster mom was curious, and we were a bit surprised to find out that our boy is an honorary Akbash only. Kumo is a Lab/GSD mix and his love of water and fetching is proof enough! This young boy may have had a rough past before he found himself in a Utah shelter and it has taken a lot of time for him to learn to trust. His circle of friends is small. Kumo needs time and space to warm up to new people. His timing! Kumo has been having a great summer break, doing some traveling with his foster mom and his doggy foster siblings. He does great with all dogs, and cats! And has had a blast as a regular at the dog park. Kumo is being fostered in ID.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 17, 2026, 8:17 pm
