Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. In foster we've learned Potro does well with female dogs and very confident kitties.  He currently lives with 3 kitties and another dog.  He is doing well at the dog park, plus he loves all people.  He can show some reactivity to other dogs when being walked but will easily follow foster when turned away. Potro is very strong but has been worked on the leash and is doing well.  An adopter might consider using a harness and even some sessions with our behaviorist in the beginning. Potro's a great boy and is just waiting for someone to see that and give him a chance to be part of their family, forever!  He is contained by a 4' fence and doesn't challenge it - but if there is a gap in it he will take advantage of it and take himself for walkabout! Potro shadows foster mom, likes to be with her and cuddle.  He is left alone while foster goes to work but hangs around with her parents for several hours.  Although he has a crate he isn't in it that often any more, but having one available would be a good idea for an adopter until he is familiar with everything in a new home. Also absolutely no birds of any kind for this boy! He's showed his skills lately of catching pigeons in the yard, impressive but probably not a dog we'd recommend around poultry! Potro is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Surrendered to a rural shelter and moved to another, now with our rescue, welcome Denali!  This absolutely adorable guy was at risk of euthanasia for getting a bit too excited and not having the best manners. Thank heavens for fosters who literally saved his life!  Just a couple of weeks with them and a virtual session with our behaviorist and Denali is doing fantastic! He adores people and does great with other dogs.  His coat was shaved at a previous shelter due to matting and foxtails, once it grows back he'll be an incredibly fluffy handsome boy. This sweet boy is being fostered in West Jordan, Utah. Please check back soon for updates as he's still quite new to us. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we saw so many dogs in need, over 100 Pyrs in a hoarding case in NM, we wanted to help. Apollo was the worst case of Lupus out of the boys. Had lived on a chain his whole life. This beautiful, sweet and gentle boy has been in his foster home for several weeks now and has made so much progress! His foster family has learned so much about him.  Apollo is a quiet, for a Pyr, gentle soul. He definitely prefers women, his foster mom is his favorite and who he is the most comfortable around. Other family members are ok but she is the one who gets the snuggles and loves! Apollo lives next door to several neighbor dogs. It has taken him a while to get used to them barking at him, and some he is still afraid of. So this sweet guy needs to be in a home where even the neighbor dogs are friendly towards him.  He is totally house trained, has been from the moment he got to his foster! He is also a dream on a leash! Apollo is respectful around kiddos but they are a bit overwhelming for him. So a home with older kiddos or none would be preferred.  He also really might enjoy a nice, calm, confident female doggo to play with. He's had a couple of play dates and he's really come out of his shell! Apollo needs a patient forever home, where he can continue to progress at his own pace, with a family who understands dogs from hoarding situations can take time.  Apollo is being fostered in Utah.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 11, 2026, 1:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Imagine living with a prong collar almost embedded into your neck, being stuck on a tie out outside 24/7. Your best friend is a male Pyr and he's hit by a car and killed. In your grief and confusion you manage to break free and go look for your companion. While out you encounter a few dogs and get into scuffles. Owners are upset and want you euthanized, and your owner decides she doesn't want to deal with the mess of it all and surrenders you to the shelter to be euthanized. This was what lead to Lucy coming to rescue.  Lucy had been living with the biggest most chill foster brother ever but at times she made it known she might prefer a bit more space. She was just spayed and has moved to an only dog foster home in NV. We'll let her settle in and see if this is the life she prefers! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2026, 10:41 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When this lovely girl was being rehomed, we had a great place in mind for her where she could potentially become the LGD she had supposedly been. But Millie has other plans in mind for her future.  This young girl has turned down the mentoring program we offered in hopes of finding a family pet home! She would much rather run and chase goats and sheep than watch over them and has tried to encourage the other LGD's to join her. So Millie is retiring young from working and seeks a life of pampering instead! This girl is all love though; they don't come any sweeter! She will need someone to show her the ropes of house dog living and take her on nice, long, leashed walks to get some much-needed exercise. She is a diamond in the rough, so please take a look at this lovely lady! Millie is being fostered in Southern Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:51 pm
