Story
She's a really good dog she is!! I got her when she was I really little pup about 6 weeks old from the Davis county animal shelter. She was good with my other little dog for a while then wasn't she got to big and starting showing some aggression towards her. She has never bitten me. She needs to go to a home with no other dogs unless the dog is bigger than her. She does fine walking past other dogs and is halfway off leash trained. She's undergone 4 week and elite training and is so well behaved i just can’t risk my two dogs being together. I really really wish I could she means so much to me but I can't. I need her to go to someplace safe. She's fine with teenagers I've never had her around little kids just cause we live in a small town. She's got goggles and some nice stuff to go with her. She's a year and a half old and the sweetest loves to snuggle could make an amazing dog one day I planned on training her to be service dog but can't. She's NOT human aggressive

Story
Meet Bode: Happy, Energetic 3-Year-Old Good Boy!Bode is a super affectionate, energetic 3-year-old who’s always friendly and gentle. He’s lived peacefully with an older dog, indoor/outdoor cats, and two young boys (7 & 12). Never any aggression — even when the little one tries to ride him like a pony!Fully house trained and crate trained. He can stay in his kennel for a full workday with no accidents and goes in willingly at night as his safe space. Brief marking phase when young (stopped over a year ago); neutering would fix any remaining instinct.Bode learns commands quickly, loves to please, and has no food aggression (though he’s picky — loves Purina, skips Kibbles and Bits). He’s calm indoors, prefers pets from his people, and zooms happily in the backyard. Excellent recall — comes running with a big smile when called.

Story
Ludo is a sweet, gentle 7 year old boy who loves to cuddle. We are fostering his as his previous owner faced a housing situation where they were going to have to give him to a shelter. Ludo has absolutely no aggression. We have 4 kids and another dog he’s never so much as growled at. He’s just a loving giant. He’s fully house trained and has been fine when we leave for school and work for the day. He has eaten a sock or two, so it’s best to keep those put away. According to our vet, he’s healthy and just needs to lose some weight, which he’s been doing on a regular kibble diet. Ludo would make for a perfect companion dog for someone who just needs a friend to be there or a family who wants a friendly cuddler who’s always excited to see you.

Story
Yoshi is a really sweet dog. She wouldn’t hurt a fly, has endless love to give, and loves to play. She’ll be 6 years old on 6/1/26. When she was about 7 months old she had her first seizure. She struggled with epilepsy, having about one seizure per month, until she was almost 2 years old. At that time, we switched vets and got her on the right medication and diet. Her last seizure was on 4/22/22, so she’s gone 4 years without one. Yoshi is about 95% deaf from birth. She can’t hear well enough for communication or commands, only enough to hear really loud sounds like other dogs barking close, or pots and pans clinging together. Loud sounds used to trigger her seizures. Now they’re just a little confusing and alarming to her, but not an issue. Yoshi is a master at reading body language and we communicate everything we need through hand gestures, which she responds really well to. She loves playing fetch at the park, playing hide and find the treat, hiking, and snuggling before bed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. In foster we've learned Potro does well with female dogs and very confident kitties.  He currently lives with 3 kitties and another dog.  He is doing well at the dog park, plus he loves all people.  He can show some reactivity to other dogs when being walked but will easily follow foster when turned away. Potro is very strong but has been worked on the leash and is doing well.  An adopter might consider using a harness and even some sessions with our behaviorist in the beginning. Potro's a great boy and is just waiting for someone to see that and give him a chance to be part of their family, forever!  He is contained by a 4' fence and doesn't challenge it - but if there is a gap in it he will take advantage of it and take himself for walkabout! Potro shadows foster mom, likes to be with her and cuddle.  He is left alone while foster goes to work but hangs around with her parents for several hours.  Although he has a crate he isn't in it that often any more, but having one available would be a good idea for an adopter until he is familiar with everything in a new home. Also absolutely no birds of any kind for this boy! He's showed his skills lately of catching pigeons in the yard, impressive but probably not a dog we'd recommend around poultry! Potro is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Surrendered to a rural shelter and moved to another, now with our rescue, welcome Denali!  This absolutely adorable guy was at risk of euthanasia for getting a bit too excited and not having the best manners. Thank heavens for fosters who literally saved his life!  Just a couple of weeks with them and a virtual session with our behaviorist and Denali is doing fantastic! He adores people and does great with other dogs.  His coat was shaved at a previous shelter due to matting and foxtails, once it grows back he'll be an incredibly fluffy handsome boy. This sweet boy is being fostered in West Jordan, Utah. Please check back soon for updates as he's still quite new to us. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:51 pm
