Story
Charlie is a 3 year old, female Rottweiler from South Los Angeles, CA. We fell in love with this sweet girl after seeing videos of her playing with groups of pups at the shelter. She is dog friendly and people friendly! It is clear Charlie had a hard life prior to arriving at South LA shelter. She is emaciated... incredibly underweight for her size and age: 63lbs. Her ribs and hips are visible but luckily, she is with a wonderful foster who has already helped Charlie gain 4lbs in the week she has been with her! Additionally, Charlie is having difficulty putting weight on one of her back legs so, we are taking donations to get her seen by our vet. Charlie will be adoptable once she is at a healthier weight and once we have a diagnosis for her back leg. She is the most loving girl who was dealt an awful hand at life but now, is looking for a caring, loving and committed family to show her how wonderful the world can truly be!

Story
Elsa is 8 years young and came from a neglect and abuse case in Colorado. She was confiscated from her "family," along with her son, Olaf. Elsa was so afraid when she arrived to our rescue and wouldn't stop shaking in the back of her crate. It took two weeks for her to gain confidence and trust us enough to start exploring the rescue. The rest is history... since Elsa created a bond with us, she has opened up SO much! She lives for her walks, is obsessed with snuggles and will quite literally follow you anywhere you go. She is wonderful on car rides and loves a good pup cup! Elsa's ideal family is someone who will continue to dress her up and treat her like the queen she is... lol. But really, she would thrive as an only pup who will spend the rest of her days spoiled, loved and cherished. She is going to make the most loyal and loving companion to a very lucky person/family.

Story
Zero is a 4 year old neutered, male Rottweiler from Riverside shelter. He was found tied to a stop sign in California. The day that we went to save him, the shelter had already labeled him as"euthanized," because he was next to be killed. Zero came to us afraid, reactive and weary. He has made tremendous progress in the time we have had him! His favorite thing in the world is playing with a ball and going for walks. He is great on walks, loves exploring new outdoor spaces and rolling in the grass, and is the perfect dog to cuddle up with on the sofa. Once you truly gain his trust, Zero will be the most loyal velcro dog! As with most Rottweilers, Zero needs a strong leader to respect his boundaries while also implementing structure. Z would thrive in a home that can continue the training that we have started and has experience with the breed!

Dante is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler who was bumped to the top of the euthanasia list at SEAACA shelter due to having a history of seizures. We saw how lively, loving, playful and full of life Dante was and knew we had to give him a chance at a life.Dante is in a loving foster home in Ontario, California where he is getting the medical care and testing that he needs to diagnose what kind of seizure condition he has. He has seizures every week or two and would thrive with a family who is experienced with epilepsy or other seizure conditions. Dante is adoptable to an experienced family. Story
Olaf is Elsa's son who is 4 years old, deaf and the perfect mix of sweet and sensitive. Like Elsa, he came from a home of abuse and neglect. Often, getting attacked by his dad, a large male Pittie, without intervention from his owners. He and Elsa were confiscated and saved from their awful home in Colorado. Olaf is now looking for a family who can understand that he needs special care and training due to being deaf. Olaf, although he looks tough, is equally as sensitive and eager to trust. However, it'll take some time to show this sweet boy that humans are safe and not to be feared. Olaf has been in a board and train since arriving at the rescue and will remain with his trainer until he is adopted!

Story
Meet Mikey! A 6 year old hound mix who is a spirited, energetic pup that thrives on adventure and loves being the center of attention. With a personality as big as his energy, Mikey is a playful and affectionate companion to his family—especially when he's around people he knows and trusts.Mikey's ideal day is filled with high-energy activities like fetch, tug-of-war, and long walks on trails where he can explore to his heart's content. While he's content lounging in the backyard or sunbathing when indoors, he's always ready for action, and his exercise needs are high. If you love being outdoors and staying active, Mikey will be your perfect partner. He's crate-trained and house-trained, and he's a good boy when it comes to his daily routine. Mikey is a well-behaved pup at home, but he can get a bit anxious outside his familiar environment, especially around other dogs or unfamiliar people. He's not a fan of dog parks, and interactions with other dogs can be unpredictable, so he'd be happiest in an environment where he's the only pup in the family or with a family that can give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable.Once he feels secure, he's all love and affection. His family can attest to his sweet side, and Mikey's also quite clever - he knows a few fun tricks, including shake, spin, and roll-over.Mikey is best suited to an active family who can provide him with plenty of exercise and a structured routine. He does well with a fenced-in yard to explore, and he'll need a home where he's the sole pet or with older kids who can respect his boundaries. Mikey would thrive with people who are patient, understanding, and willing to work with his quirks and needs. He's a sweet, loving dog at heart. He's got a ton of personality, and when he's comfortable, he's playful, loyal, and a great companion. If you're an active family looking for a loyal, fun, and loving pet, Mikey might just be the perfect match for you!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
