Story
Lyla is an eight year old Siberian Husky. I have had her since she was young. She is house-trained and up to date on all vaccines. She suffers from anxiety, especially separation anxiety. She has been to professional board and train last year to help train and reduce the anxiety. She was medicated for the anxiety but no longer requires medication following training. She must be in a well built crate if left alone as she gets very anxious and will scratch doors trying to find someone. She loves to be included and ride in the car. Lyla is sweet and enjoys walks and lounging about. She walks wonderfully on a leash and will heel and walk without a leash next to you as well. We are having to rehome her as she does not do well with our child and it’s making her anxious as he is mobile and crawls about the house. She is great with other dogs and older children. We want her to go with a family that will love and treat her like a member of the family.

Story
3 pyreneese puppies for adoption, Otis, Sam and Dogmeat came from a neighboring farm that could not take care of them. They were abandoned and I took them in. They are currently being trained as LGDs as well as indoor outdoor pets. They are sweet, easy going and loving. Super laid back puppies, medium energy level. Would be great snuggle buddies! They love to give kisses and spend all day by your side. Happy to play in the woods or sit in your lap and get belly scratches. They pick up on things quickly. They are good in the car as well. I am currently leash training them. They do not need to all go to the same home but that would be amazing. Asking for $50 to pay for their shots. They are currently 4 months old and are too young to get nurtured but will be if I have them that long. Ideally you live in a place with enough of a yard that is fenced. They have been around chickens, ducks, cats, goats and other wildlife. These are great pups who just want love and affection.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Someone give this girl a chance. That's all she needs ... a legitimate chance. Ovira (pronounced 'Oh-Veer-uh') has a cute personality once she relaxes. She is playful with dogs and has shown some play with her trusted staff members as well. She grew up with minimal human interaction, in a basement with over a dozen other neglected dogs and cats. Because of this, her animal-animal social skills developed wonderfully; However, this left her with a deficit when it comes to human interaction. She is nervous around people (which makes the shelter particularly scary) but she has NEVER snapped at a human despite her nerves (not even when receiving her intake vet work). Much like a cat, she will hide or avoid when there's company because 'three is a crowd'. HER PERFECT HOME would be ... - very patient, as she will take some time to trust - only host occasional visitors, as her nervousness increases as the head count does - one or more dog in the home, cats would be fine as well. - able to keep her on a leash and/or containedJune 8, 2024, 12:08 am
