Story
Meet Cedar – A True Guardian at Heart 🐾 Some dogs are meant for city life. Others are meant for wide open spaces. Cedar is the second kind. This beautiful Great Pyrenees has all the traits the breed is known for being independent, thoughtful, and loyal to his people. He’s the kind of dog who likes to observe the world around him and take his job seriously. Like many guardian breeds, he also appreciates clear boundaries. When he’s resting, he prefers not to be disturbed and will let you know with a polite growl if he’d rather be left alone. Once he’s up and about, he’s happy to interact and spend time with his people. Cedar absolutely loves bum scratches and ear rubs! He would thrive in a home that understands livestock guardian breeds, ideally a farm, ranch, or rural property where he can enjoy space and purpose. His perfect home would include: • Property to patrol or relax on • People who respect his independent nature • A calm environment with predictable routines If you’re looking for a loyal property companion and natural guardian, Cedar might just be your perfect match

Story
✨ Meet Pixie ✨ I will be available for adoption at Petsmart in Kennewick on March 28th from 11am - 3pm. Pixie is a 3-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart that beats just for her person. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a loyal shadow by your side, Pixie is ready to make that dream come true. This sweet girl is the definition of a “velcro dog.” She’ll happily follow you from room to room and has the cutest habit of gently hugging your legs just to remind you she’s there. Pixie thrives on connection and would love a home where she can be close to her person as much as possible. She walks beautifully on leash, making her a perfect companion for peaceful strolls. While she does well around other dogs, she prefers to keep to herself and doesn’t usually initiate play—she’s much more interested in bonding with her human. Pixie is wonderfully well-mannered in the home. She is fully potty trained, does not get on furniture, and already knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “center.” She’s the kind of dog who settles in quickly and just wants to be near you, quietly soaking up love. 💛 Pixie’s Perfect Home: Someone looking for a deeply loyal, affectionate companion A calmer home where she can relax and feel secure A person who appreciates a dog that wants to be by their side If you’re searching for a gentle, devoted best friend who will love you endlessly and stick by your side through it all… Pixie is waiting for you.

Story
Meet Fizzy ❄️ | 2-Year-Old Malamute I will be available for adoption at Petsmart in Kennewick on March 28th from 11am - 3pm. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who looks like a majestic polar bear but acts like a lovable goof… Fizzy is your guy. Fizzy is a 2-year-old Malamute who came to us as a stray alongside a German Shepherd friend, and while we don’t know everything about his past, it’s clear he’s learned resilience. What we do know is who he is now: a confident, gentle giant with a heart as big as his paws. Despite his impressive size, Fizzy is incredibly easygoing. He walks politely on leash, taking in the world with calm curiosity rather than pulling ahead. He carries himself with a quiet confidence and does best with dogs who match his energy and respect his space — the kind of dog who knows how to read the room and play fair. Fizzy is pure joy when it comes to playtime. Toys are his love language, and watching a big Malamute light up over a toy is truly something special. He’s a “big oof” in the best way — goofy, affectionate, and happiest when he’s just existing near his people, soaking up attention and good vibes. One thing to know about Fizzy is that he can guard his food from other animals. This behavior appears to come from a place of uncertainty — likely a time in his past when meals weren’t guaranteed. With consistent feeding routines and respectful boundaries, he does well and continues to show progress. He’s not difficult — he’s learning that food will always come, and that security doesn’t have to be earned. Fizzy is looking for a home that understands big dogs come with big hearts and sometimes a few big feelings. A family willing to give him structure, patience, and plenty of love will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal, fun-loving companion. If you’re ready for a gentle giant who walks like a dream, plays like a puppy, and loves like he’s been waiting for you his whole life — Fizzy is ready to meet you. 🐺💙

Story
Meet Gracie 🐾 Gracie is a young German Shepherd girl, still under a year old, who is learning how to navigate the world. Like many young shepherds, she is very sensitive and can be quite anxious, but underneath that nervousness is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pup who just wants to feel safe and loved. Gracie is still learning many of the basics, including how to walk on a leash. Right now, the leash is something new and a little scary for her, so she will need a patient adopter who can help guide her through training at her own pace. With time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, she has so much potential to grow into a confident companion. Once Gracie begins to trust you, her softer side really shines. She loves cuddles and being close to the people she feels safe with, and she thrives on affection and reassurance. Building that trust is key, but once you do, she’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. Gracie can be a bit particular about her food and treats. She prefers wet food and can be selective with certain snacks, but she’s always motivated by kindness, patience, and gentle care. Because of her anxious nature, Gracie would do best in a calm home with someone who understands that she will need time to adjust and learn. With the right person by her side, this sweet shepherd girl has the chance to truly blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give a shy pup the patience and love she deserves, Gracie may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Meet Maple! 🍁 Maple is a 4-month-old Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix with a tiny body and a big heart. This sweet girl is a little shadow who loves being close to her person and will happily curl up beside you for cuddles whenever she gets the chance. Maple can be a sensitive and anxious pup, and new environments can make her a bit shy at first. When she feels unsure, she may tuck herself into a cozy hiding spot until she feels safe again. With patience, reassurance, and a calm home, Maple’s affectionate personality really starts to shine. Despite her timid side, Maple is very attentive and will quickly alert you to any unusual sounds around the house. She takes her “little watchdog” duties seriously! Since she’s still just a puppy, Maple is currently learning the basics, including potty training. She is working on using dog pads and will need a family willing to continue helping her build confidence and good habits as she grows. Maple would do best with a patient adopter who understands shy puppies and is excited to help her blossom into the confident companion she’s meant to be. In return, you’ll get a loyal little cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side.
