Like a true Heeler, I’ve got a good brain in this head of mine—and I’m learning how to use it! I’m very food motivated, which makes training with me both fun and rewarding. I’ve been working on my leash manners, checking in with my handler, and learning that we don’t have to be in a hurry to get everywhere. I caught on quickly, and with continued consistency, I’m only going to get better! I’m the kind of dog who really benefits from having a relationship with my person. Give me some structure, something to think about, and plenty of opportunities to learn, and you’ll get to watch that wonderful working-dog brain come alive. At 3 years old, I’m past the tiny puppy stage but still young enough for plenty of adventures, training, and fun.
