Meet Jake! Jake is a 4-year-old Great Dane/Lab mix with the sweetest, gentlest personality. He’s a tall, sleek boy with a shiny black coat and expressive eyes that make it impossible not to fall in love. Jake is friendly, affectionate, and loves being near his people—whether he’s lounging by your desk or riding calmly in the car in his harness. He is also fantastic with small children and is the biggest cuddle bug. He enjoys walks, playtime, and any chance to stretch his long legs, but he’s also happy to relax once he’s had his exercise. Jake is fully vaccinated, neutered, and comes with all his paperwork. He has already been through several homes, so we’re looking for a forever family committed to loving him for life. If you’re searching for a loyal, gentle companion with a big heart (and long legs!), Jake might be your perfect match. He will be fostered in a loving home until March or until the right family finds him—no shelters for this sweet boy. This 1½-year-old beauty came to MAGDRL in rough shape after being severely underweight and neglected, but her gentle heart never faltered. From the moment she arrived, Phoebe has shown herself to be sweet, curious, and eager to please. Now safe in her foster home, Phoebe is blossoming. She enjoys the company of other dogs, does well with cats, and is kind and patient with children. She’s playful, affectionate, and surprisingly well-adjusted for all she’s been through. Phoebe will make a wonderful companion for an active home where she can continue learning about the joys of indoor life and being loved. Tex is 8 years old and has had an old man demeanor for his entire life. He absolutely loves getting pets and if you start he makes it hard to stop. He loves finding an open window with the sun poring in to soak it all up and relax the day away. He is not much of a playing pup but every now and then he gets the zoomies and has a great time running around. He is crate trained but hasn’t used one in the past 3 years and doesn’t have any separation anxiety. Tex currently lives with a 9yr old female Mastiff mix. 💗 Meet Darcey — A Smart, Loving, and Playful Great Dane Mix Say hello to Darcey, a beautiful 1½-year-old Great Dane mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At around 90 pounds, she may be a bit smaller than a typical Dane, but she’s absolutely convinced she’s a lap dog — and she’ll happily prove it every chance she gets! Darcey is full of life, love, and enthusiasm. She’s wonderful with kids, adores playing with her foster family’s nephews, and loves her toys — especially her new favorite stuffed animal, “Stuffy.” She’s a bright, eager-to-please girl who loves learning new things and showing off her smarts. In fact, she learned to ring a bell to go outside in less than a week — and since she’s the only dog in her foster home, she figured it out all on her own! She’s also crate trained, enjoys routine, and has settled beautifully into home life. Car rides can make her a little anxious at first, but once the road smooths out, she relaxes and enjoys the trip. We believe she may have some other mix in her, which adds to her fun, expressive nature and playful charm. Darcey’s mix of intelligence, affection, and energy makes her an absolute joy to be around. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and be part of whatever her people are doing — whether that’s playtime, cuddle time, or just hanging out together. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Darcey is ready to find a forever family who will appreciate her sweet nature, loyalty, and zest for life. She will do best with an experienced owner who is comfortable with training and discipline.
