Story
Pickett is a 4 year old American Fox Hound. He is very loving and affectionate, but needs a home with structure and lots of opportunities for exercise. Picket will not be adopted out to a family with children, as we have experienced issues with correction behaviors aimed at our daughter (growling and snipping). Pickett has gone though basic obedience training and is highly trainable.

Story
Chloe ended up at a high kill shelter pregnant, her owners no longer wanted her. A shelter is no place for a mum to have babies. We took her in and she had 7 beautiful husky mix puppies. Her babies have all found homes and it is Chloe's turn now to find a home that will not dump her at a shelter ever again. She is full of energy and loves to run and play. She would best suited with a fenced in yard, no apartments for her. She is very smart and wants to please. She plays with several dogs in her foster home and will chase a cat if it runs. She has not hurt any of the cats at her foster home. She is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heartworm/tick negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. Please read all the information below as it explains the process. All of us in the rescue have full time jobs as well as running the rescue so if you are interested in Chloe please go to our website www.doginghampalacerescue.org for our application. Then email the application back to doginghamrescue@aol.com. The fees on our website are very out dated, we are waiting on the lady to update everything. Since covid hit, it is hard to get into vets offices and prices have gone way up. The adoption fee and transport fee is explained below. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $150 adoption fee does not include the transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is $220, so a total of $370. The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
Hello everyone. I unfortunately have to rehome my 2 year old dog because my work schedule has changed and he’s home alone for way too long. he loves other dogs and loves to play! He can’t be in a home with cats because he will chase them. He lovesssss to cuddle and is super friendly with everyone he meets. He knows basic commands and is very treat motivated and willing to learn a lot more. He is potty trained and house trained. He is such a loving dog and I would love to keep him but unfortunately it’s just not fair to him I’m never home

Story
Raven is an 11-year-old American Akita. She is a very loyal, house dog. She is protective of her owner and does not get along with other pets smaller than her. She is a great walker, as we enjoy 2 - 4 miles daily. She is not a people person and will avoid all people not in the immediate family (home). She has never bit or acted aggressively to anyone, and will only look to be avoided. She's had a very healthy diet threw out her life and is in great shape, hints at our daily walks. She is willing and capable of walking multiple times a day, for long and extended times. The only medical issue shes had is mild ear infections, which have led to some hearing issues. Outside of her ear, she is in perfect health with all up-to-date shots and medical records.
