Moose’s mother was a pregnant stray and we adopted Moose from a rescue company. He is turning 5 a couple of days before Christmas. He is a loving, fun, and respectful dog that we wish we could hang on to forever. The hard truth is that we recently had our first child, and while Moose is great with the baby, we don’t have the necessary time and energy to give Moose the life that he deserves. We moved to a new location and despite all of our efforts, we cannot seem to be able to make the situation work in a way that is fair to Moose.

Ellie is a Norwegian Elkhound mix. She looks like a mini cattle dog. She is energetic and friendly with dogs and cats. She is weary around most men, and prefers women. She is silly and loves her toys and does a little wiggle when playing. Ellie was mistreated by a man as a puppy and has since developed a fear of most men, but not all. She is very sweet but needs time and attention with someone who can help her anxiety and give the loving home she deserves. She is my sister’s dog and currently her barking at my sister’s husband constantly anytime she sees or hears him. She would benefit from training as she can be sneaky and get into the trash from time to time if the opportunity presents itself.
