Story
Frannie is a compact cutie looking for her new family! This girl is about 2 years old and is all about the FUN. Toys, games, walks, runs, you name it, she`s up for it. We think she`d love agility or maybe scent work - anything that keeps her brain and body busy. Frannie can be cautious and leery of new people so a home without a lot of people coming and going would be ideal for her. Frannie would do best with a confident and patient person who is able to help her thrive. She is an amazing, sweet girl and is well worth it. More about Frannie:- 2 years old (estimated); 43 pounds- Active and playful but also snuggly once she gets comfortable-Frannie is dog social but may be best as the only dog in the home because of how intense and pushy she can be with other dogs. She would be best as a `playmate` not a `roomate` and needs to have supervised playtime- Not suggested for a home with cats. She will chase - Suggested for children around teenage and up due to exuberance, active playstyle, excitable jumping, initial caution with new people. - Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Interested in meeting this dog? Story
This lovebug is no other than Jolene! The sweetest girl you`ve ever seen. Jolene is a happy-go-lucky girl who is still in puppyhood. She`s curious, bashful, playful, and adventurous. Like any young dog, Jolene needs a family that can be consistent with training, socialization and exercise. Jolene can be very shy of new people at first. She prefers a quiet environment and interacting with strangers at her own pace. With patience, Jolene comes out of her shell and into your heart. Jolene has a cherry eye at this time and is having corrective surgery. For this reason she may be a foster-to-adopt. Here`s some more info about Jolene!--7 months old (estimated)-Weighs 40 pounds -Great medium size! Estimated to stay under 60 pounds-Can take a while to warm up to other dogs. Would need a calm, respectful player. Once comfortable she will run around & play-No knowledge on how she does with cats - Playful & loving once comfortable. Can take a while to warm up-Suggested for children age 12 and up due to initial nervousness and `big puppy` behaviors-Is having surgery for her cherry eye -Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Flash is a sweet, timid boy who came in with his brother, Chocolate. They both came from a home with a lot of other dogs and they haven`t seem to have had much socialization with people and places, so they are very timid and cautious with new people at first. But given time and patience their personality really comes out! Flash is the more quiet of the two! He just likes to be by his favorite people and get pets and attention. He also enjoys the occasional morsel of tasty treats. Flash would do best with somebody who is home a lot and would have the time and patience he needs to acclimate comfortably into a new home. Because Flash is so nervous with new people, he may require multiple meets prior to adoption. More about Flash:More about Flash:- 5 years old, 19 pounds- Sweet and friendly once he gets comfortable but will be timid and cautious with new people at first (may require more than one meet with new people to get comfortable) He loves to play & snuggle in bed. Very affectionate & loyal to his person- Enjoys pets, attention and treats.- Best suited for a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going-He needs a patient owner who will give him time & space to acclimate, as It can take him a long time to feel comfortable in new spaces.- Suggested for homes with adults only or children in their teen years- Lived with other dogs in previous home. May get overwhelmed by overly playful dog - seems like a peaceful co-exister-Not suitable for apartment complexes or multi-unit housing as he will sometimes bark when left alone- Neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinationsPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible.
