Story
Frannie is a compact cutie looking for her new family! This girl is about 2 years old and is all about the FUN. Toys, games, walks, runs, you name it, she`s up for it. We think she`d love agility or maybe scent work - anything that keeps her brain and body busy. Frannie can be cautious and leery of new people so a home without a lot of people coming and going would be ideal for her. Frannie would do best with a confident and patient person who is able to help her thrive. She is an amazing, sweet girl and is well worth it. More about Frannie:- 2 years old (estimated); 43 pounds- Active and playful but also snuggly once she gets comfortable-Frannie is dog social but may be best as the only dog in the home because of how intense and pushy she can be with other dogs. She would be best as a `playmate` not a `roomate` and needs to have supervised playtime- Not suggested for a home with cats. She will chase - Suggested for children around teenage and up due to exuberance, active playstyle, excitable jumping, initial caution with new people. - Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Interested in meeting this dog? Story
Flash is a sweet, timid boy who came in with his brother, Chocolate. Chocolate has since been adopted, but Flash still waits...They both came from a home with a lot of other dogs and they haven`t seem to have had much socialization with people and places, so they are very timid and cautious with new people at first. But given time and patience their personality really comes out! Flash is the more quiet of the two! He just likes to be by his favorite people and get pets and attention. He also enjoys the occasional morsel of tasty treats. Flash would do best with somebody who is home a lot and would have the time and patience he needs to acclimate comfortably into a new home. Because Flash is so nervous with new people, he may require multiple meets prior to adoption. More about Flash:More about Flash:- 5 years old, 19 pounds- Sweet and friendly once he gets comfortable but will be timid and cautious with new people at first (may require more than one meet with new people to get comfortable) He loves to play & snuggle in bed. Very affectionate & loyal to his person- Enjoys pets, attention and treats.- Best suited for a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going- Suggested for homes with adults only or children in their teen years- Lived with other dogs in previous home. May get overwhelmed by overly playful dog - seems like a peaceful co-exister-Not suitable for apartment complexes or multi-unit housing as he will sometimes bark excessively when left alone- Neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinationsPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Puddin is a whole lotta F-U-N! She brings the PAWty and positive vibes everywhere she goes. She`s a cute and stocky `low-rider`, and she`s stolen hearts here at the shelter. Puddin is pretty anxious here, and needs a home where she can decompress. She`s a somewhat active girl who enjoys her walks and playing with toys. She`s outgoing, affectionate, and has an overall great disposition. More about Puddin:-Approximately 3 years old (estimated)-Weighs 50 pounds -She gets very overstimulated with other dogs and can get too physical and rough in her play. Would do best as an only dog. - Knows `sit` and `shake`- Unknown how she does with cats-Suggested for children age 8 years and up -Moderate energy level-Friendly & outgoing disposition.-Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Cash is a sweet and outgoing middle-aged boy. He`s been great with shelter staff during his stay. He enjoys the simple things, like sniffing around aimlessly, and playing with his stuffies. He has an active side and can keep up on walks, but he also has a calm side and enjoys chilling out after a long day. He`s got a goofy personality and will be a great companion to a lucky someone. A bit more about Cash: -6 years old and weighs 60 pounds-Can be dog selective & a very rough player. May do best as the only dog at first so he can decompress. -Has lived with cats in a previous home & did well-SMART! Would do great with training or other activities -Moderate energy level. Enjoys his walks but also knows how to chill. He`s great at matching his humans energy. -Loves to be by his humans & would love someone who is home a lot-Suggested for respectful children age 8 and up as he has some touch sensitivities -Neutered, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
6yr old F3 Labradoodle brothers. Due to changes in our home life, it is with the toughest choice we have to make, we are looking for a good home for them TOGETHER. They are very attached to each other and preferably where they have room to run, as we live on a farm. We have had them since 9 weeks old. One has more poodle like fur and one has a bit thicker fur. They are potty trained and know simple commands. They have been raised with babies-teenagers, as well multiple different farm animals, and are gentle with all. Hoping for a individual/couple who has time for the attention they deserve. Located in oshkosh. They are bonded, and would love a home that has time to give them all the love and play they need. Race (black)- loves to cuddle, and chase tennis balls. Scout (white) calm, chill, loves to lay around and watch his brother run after balls. Both dogs are micro chipped & neutered. Will need up to date rabies vaccination. Both dogs are comfortable with regular grooming .
