Maui was purchased at 6 weeks old at a German shepard breeder in Monticello, Minnesota. Maui recently turned 5 years old on July 3rd. Maui is looking for a loving family that can spend time with him outside, especially in the winter as its his favorite season. Maui loves plenty of deck time basking in the sun when the weather permits. Maui is very protective which is an important role as a German shepard to protect the ones he love and care about. Maui is trained in house commands such as; place (going to his place mat), kennel, free (release word), and yes (used for food/treats). Maui had a little cat brother that he adored and enjoyed plenty of play fights with. As big as Maui is, he loves to cuddle like he is a lap dog. Maui loves to eat honeydew, his dental treats, and just treats in general.

Goose is a 5 year old Labrador retriever / German shepherd mix. He was adopted from a rescue in St. Louis Park at 9 weeks old. Goose is a true lab; he loves to be by his humans at all times, gets into mischief, and loves a game of tug of war / fetch. He is very curious and likes to explore and sniff everything in new environments. Since rescuing Goose, he’s always been anxious. He is scared of airplane contrails and will let you know immediately if he sees them outside. He’s also not a fan of big objects being moved around. He is not currently crate trained but was as a puppy. He knows most common commands but doesn’t like to listen unless there’s treats involved. Goose has been e-collar trained at dokken kennels and he is familiar with e-collet commands as well. Goose is currently living in a home with an older dog (7 years old), two little humans, and his human parents. He generally gets along with all dogs. If he doesn’t, he will separate himself and go play or explore by himself

Tulane is a shepherd mix who is just looking for a quiet home filled with love. Once he knows he's home and safe he loves nothing more than to nuzzle up close to his people and be held. His happy place is being held, and if he's in your arms he will tolerate just about anything. Tulane is an anxious dog who above all is looking for a relaxed household where he can feel safe, if you give him that, he'll give you his heart. When the world is overwhelming, Tulane knows the best place to find his own inner peace is in a pile of throw pillows. He is regularly found on the couch tucked in between several pillows, in a fort of his own making. To help him get less overwhelmed by the world Tulane takes a daily mental health medicine with his food, he's happy to gobble it right up with his breakfast and then the world is a bit less scary. Tulane is potty trained, crate trained, and not prone to running away, making him ready to fit into his forever home. While he’s friendly with other dogs, Tulane would be best suited to live with a very mellow other dog, or as any only dog. Tulane has a condition called patellar luxation, affecting his kneecap, but its easily managed and doesn't impact his life much. The vet recommends avoiding long walks on pavement, however, this is a blessing in disguise because Tulane doesn't really want to go on walks! He is a homebody who is likely to run and hide when he sees the leash. Hi, my name is Ohio, a 1 year old German Shepherd mix, and I am looking for my forever home. My foster mom is a middle school teacher and she keeps saying, "Her name might be Ohio, but she is definitely not skibidi. She has a 100% Aura rating." I am not exactly sure what that means, but I think it means that I am pretty awesome, which I am. She also says that I am a very pretty and sweet girl who has the most beautiful, soulful eyes. Well, that is true too. So far I have had no accidents in the house, and I let my fosters know when I have to go outside. My foster mom said that since I seem anxious about gates and kennels that I can stay out at night and when they are away. I have been doing well, but I am kind of a hoarder...I keep myself busy by bringing a bunch of things to my bed to keep me occupied. Did you know that I live with a cat and two house horses?! Well, my fosters tell me they are called great danes, but they sure do look like horses! We get along pretty well, and I like to play with them. I also love all the people I meet, and a lot of times I get so excited that I jump on them, but really I am just trying to give hugs and kisses. I am learning to give my hugs and kisses from the ground, and I am a fast learner. While I am a little anxious to get into the car, I love riding when I am in and settled. I am also learning to walk on a leash! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ashira is a young female German Shepherd. She is approximately 9 months old and weighs 65 lbs. Ashira came to us as an unclaimed stray. Ashira is spayed, UTD on vaccines and ready for her forever home. Ashira has lived with other dogs and is a good playmate for other dogs. She is the "devoted" type and likes to be near her people. She would prefer a home where someone is home much of the time, but she can be left alone at times and her foster home has left her out freely with the other dog and she has done fine, is not destructive. She can also be crated too, she will cry at bit at first, but will settle down. Ashira loves her crinkle/squeaky toys, bones and bully sticks. Ashira is like "the good child", she is so responsive, well behaved, she listens well, and looks to you for leadership/direction. Ashira is soft in nature. She loves to hang with other dogs, and going to the dog park. She is very versatile and has not shown any aggression at all with us. Ashira is a fantastic adventure buddy, who is up for anything. She's great in the car and good on a leash - she is just truly a very special dog! She has not been tested with cats yet, but it can be done. Ashira has been good with kids she has met as well. Ashira would benefit from a home that understands shepherds, their devotion, needs. Ashira is a stand out, a one of a kind, kind of very good girl!
