We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. Story
We adopted angel in 2021 for the most part. She is a very good dog, but with a husky breed, we knew what we were adopting, but with our families busy lifestyle it’s become very difficult to give her attention and energy and exercise that she deserves. Just acquired a job that takes me downtown away from family a few times and with little babies it’s very hard to take care of Angel as well. She needs a family that’s willing to give her the time and energy that husky very much needs. Separation anxiety is very clingy, but overall she’s very good dog and will make a very good companion for somebody.

Story
Nyskee is an adorable, 20 week old female/spayed Husky mixed breed. Due to us not knowing who her parents are, her adult size will remain a mystery. Nyskee is a typical puppy with tons of energy, and a motivated brain wanting to learn new tricks and work hard to become a great dog. Nyskee gets along with other dogs, has experienced cats in her foster home, and has been socialized around young kids. Anyone interested in adopting Nyskee will need to consider all the fun and love that comes with owning a puppy. If you are interested in Nyskee you can fill out an adoption application today!

Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jupiter is a beautiful, sweet, loving and playful Akita. Sadly, her former owner became very ill and is unable to care for her. She is very affectionate, loves attention with lots of cuddles, scratches behind the ears, belly rubs, and she enjoys being brushed. She is well versed with many common commands, such as come, sit, down, stay, leave it, backup, shake, and rolls over, which is quite a feat for a large canine lol. Even at five years old, Jupiter has proven over and over to be a fast learner and has adapted quickly to her new surroundings. We have been working with her to improve upon her existing recall to come when there are nearby distractions. She has been making tremendous strides. We are also in the process of working on her reactivity aggression towards other dogs. Jupiter needs to be in a household with no other dogs or cats.
