Yes Crate Trained? Yes Shedding? Yes About Nola: Hi, my name is Nola! Nola is a beautiful blue-eyed Husky-Pomeranian mix who is ready to find her forever home! With her stunning looks and warm personality, she’s sure to capture your heart. Nola is fully potty trained and uses her crate with ease, responding to the “kennel-up” prompt like a pro. She knows basic commands, walks on leash, leashes up, and comes when called. She brings a healthy medium level of Husky energy to her adventures. She doesn’t bark a lot, just sometimes in her crate if she thinks she is missing out on any fun! She loves to be an affectionate lap dog, and she’s also very playful. Nola loves to destroy stuffy toys, play with balls, and enjoys chewing on a Nylabone. She would be an excellent running companion for an active owner. Nola is a sweet and gentle dog who gets along well with kids and other dogs. She may also be okay with dog-savvy cats. One of her most endearing traits is her joyful greeting—when you approach her crate, she spins around in excitement! Nola is a wonderful girl looking for a loving family to call her own. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and energetic companion, Nola would be an amazing addition to your home! Nola is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Odin is a lovable, 10-year-old canine companion who brings joy and warmth to everyone he meets. Despite his years, Odin is young at heart and thrives on being active and social. His friendly nature makes him a hit with both people and other dogs, whether it’s a stroll through the neighborhood or a romp at the dog park. Odin’s favorite pastimes include cuddling up on the couch after a day of play and enjoying the company of his humans. He has a sweet, independent streak and appreciates a bit of space to explore on his own terms. That said, a securely fenced yard is essential for him to understand his boundaries and stay safe while indulging in his curiosity. While Odin is great with other dogs, his experience with other animals is limited. His hunting instincts have occasionally kicked in when backyard rabbits catch his eye, so a home without small animals may be best for him. Odin is the perfect blend of affectionate and independent. He will shower his new family with love and loyal

Story
This 6-year-old Husky is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! At 65 pounds, Bandit is a large, playful, and sweet boy who is ready to be your partner in crime. He is always ready to cuddle up to you and he'll let you know—he's happy to paw at you or nudge your arm with his nose to get your attention!Like many Huskies, Bandit has plenty of energy and would thrive with multiple walks or play sessions daily. He enjoys gnawing on bones or teething toys, and matches the energy of younger dogs during playtime. Despite his high energy, he’s calm and relaxed when it’s just him. Bandit has had great experiences with other dogs and with children. He is friendly and has previously lived with multiple children, so he makes for a great family dog! While his behavior with cats is unknown, Bandit is generally good-natured and adaptable. He’s crate-trained, comfortable spending time there when needed, and occasionally naps in his crate voluntarily. He is house-trained, and stays calm and respectful with belongings when home alone. Bandit is also a classic Husky escape artist, so he will require a secure, fenced yard to ensure his safety. This cuddly, energetic Husky is ready for a family who can provide him with the exercise, training, and love he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion who doubles as a couch cuddler, Bandit is your guy!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Story
Name: Natasha Sex: Female Color: Red & White Eye Color: Blue Birthday: 01/13/24 (estimated) Weight: 35lbs Large Dog Friendly: Not aggressive with other dogs. She is very submissive when it comes to other dogs and will stay by her person when meeting other dogs. Small Dog Friendly: Untested but likely ok with small dogs as she was good with her puppies and cats. Cat Friendly: Yes! She has not been aggressive nor has shown signs of aggression towards the cats. In fact, when meeting the foster’s cat, she did not even look to smell the cat. Crate Trained: She will sleep in the crate throughout the night without any issues. When putting her in the crate for us to leave the house, she has broken out of the crate (without breaking the crate) and was found lying at the bottom of the stairs waiting for us to get home. Housebroken: She is 99% housebroken. Energy Level: High, energetic at times with zoomies. Zoomies happen after she potties and when one of us will get home. Will take time to snuggle and nap. She LOVES to snuggle. Reaction to New People: This is not her first option, no aggression. She is not the type of dog that will jump all over new people or even want to go out of her way to meet them. There are some people she will come right up to and others that she will stay back to decide if she is ok with them or not. Kid Friendly: The guess would be friendly, but has been untested. But she would probably have the same reaction as to “New People”. Babies, or even a toddler that someone is holding, she seems to be jealous of that, like she is the one who wants to be held. She almost knocked over a mom who was holding her 6 month old because we weren’t aware of that. Training: Working on this. She knows sit, eat, stay, potty and “go outside”. Grooming Needs: Brushing frequently as a Husky would need to be brushed. She has been having her nails trimmed. Fence: She would work great in a fenced in yard as she likes to run around. Solo or Siblings: Either one. It has taken several weeks for her to warm up to our husky. She never got into a fight with our’s but she does get jealous when you pay attention to another. When that happens, Natasha will try to get into your face to get your attention. If she is solo, she will want to bond with her person which will make her the happiest dog! From the Foster: She is a sweetheart. Very lovable and huggable. She doesn’t demand your attention all the time but will let you know when she wants to snuggle. She, at times, doesn’t know personal space boundaries while trying to get your attention…even if you are on your cell phone playing a game! Natasha is a quick learner when it comes to walking. She doesn’t pull and will want to know where you are. When she hears a barking dog, she will stop and look in the direction with concern. She has been walking with another Husky without any problems. She has been with another Husky since the end of March and has been doing well with that. She shares her toys and her favorite places to rest. When it comes to food dishes, Natasha knows which one is her’s and which ones (dog and 2 cats) are not. If she approaches them, she will get a “not yours” or “leave it” and she will back away. Natasha does not know what the doorbell means, plus she is not keen on meeting new people (she isn’t aggressive at all with new people, she just prefers her people). When someone is at the door, she doesn’t run, jumping all over at the door and then jumping at the person coming in. She will wait in an area where she can see who it is and then decide if she wants to come to say hi. As far as eating, she is on schedule being fed twice a day and she is very, very, very, food motivated. Adoption Fee: $400 All dogs coming into Adopt a Husky Minnesota receive care tailored to their needs, including: Nose-to-tail exam with a partner veterinarian, Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella), 4DX test to check for heartworm or tick exposure, Fecal Analysis, Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative, Spay/Neuter prior to adoption, Microchip, and are evaluated for temperament and trainability.
