We adopted Dutchess on 4/26 from Dallas animal services. She is a very loving and sweet girl. We have 2 young kids that she gets along with great. She gets along very well with very active male dogs. The reason we’re having to rehome her is because she does not get along with dominant female dogs. We have a female pit bull who has been with us for years. She has never met a dog she does not get along with. But her and Dutchess cannot see eye to eye. Keeping them completely separated at all times I believe is doing both of them a disservice and is very unfair to both of them. Dutchess is a very good girl, we just cannot supervise her 24/7 with our other female dog. We love her dearly, but want her to have a full life where she has free rein to roam the house without feeling restricted.
