Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sarah (fka Caziel) was an owner surrender that was formerly a stray and taken to a high kill shelter in West Texas. She was surrendered due to being adopted from their and owner moving.  She is good with other dogs and older kids, young children and cats are unknown.   She is a high energy girl that would likely be a great running partner.  Her left eye is enlarged due to a deformity but the vet says there are no concerns and she even has some siight with it.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Hi, my name is Sarah! I have been in rescue since March 2024. I am the biggest sweetheart on this planet to the people I love and trust. I love to give kisses and will lick my foster parent’s face and arms until they tell me to stop. When we’re on the couch watching tv, I squeeze my way right in between my foster parents, even if most of the couch is open! However, I’m not the type of girl to do this to everyone who comes over. My foster parents keep me in the bedroom when they have guests over, because I bark and am very unsure of new faces in my space. With time, I come around and love them, but not right away. I like to decide whether or not we’re friends on my own terms. I absolutely love other dogs, but I require slow intros to new friends. My foster parents keep me in my own room for about 24 hours when bringing a new dog in to the home. I want to get used to my new friend on my own time. I would do best with other dogs who are comfortable with me playing rough with them. I am a big strong girl, and I like to body slam my dog friends while I play! It is so much fun to knock them over! I don’t realize how strong I am, and sometimes new dogs get scared when I do it. It would be beneficial for any dogs in my new home to be comfortable with rough and tumble type play. I am fully potty trained and do a great job in my kennel. I am quiet and will sleep in my crate all day while my foster parents are at work. I am trusted so much in my foster home that they leave me out in the bedroom with the door closed so I can sleep in the bed and look out the window. I love sleeping in the bed! I always have to be touching one of my foster parents during the night; I have no sense of personal space! Physical touch is definitely my love language. I am an energetic girl who loves going for walks in quiet areas. I am working on my leash reactiveness and have gotten a lot better, but if a dog is super excited to see me and runs at me, I will pull as hard as I can towards that dog. If the other dog is quiet and walks past, I will do the same. I mimic the body language of the other dogs I see in the neighborhood. I am an absolute dream in the car! I jump right in and lay down for a nap. You will forget I’m there! Just don’t forget to wake me when we get to the coffee shop for my pup cup! I have not been around cats or children for extended periods of time. My left eye has been checked out by a vet twice, and it doesn’t seem to bother me or cause me any pain. However, I likely have decreased vision out of it, because I will turn my head to the right when there is something I want to look at closely. If you’re looking for a loyal girl to be your new best friend, apply for me today! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Huxley's momma was adopted from a high kill shelter in West Texas. Her adopter was told she was fully vetted and low and behold a few weeks later out popped puppies. He and his siblings were split between us and another local MN rescue. They love other dogs and are around young children. . They are typical puppies and are very high energy.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.  Hi, my name is Huxley! I arrived in Minnesota in October 2024. I am a very sweet boy who loves to give kisses. I am timid around new people, but once I get to know you, I want to be best friends. I absolutely love other dogs and would love to have a dog brother or sister to play with! I have not been around cats for extended periods of time, but I really wasn't a fan. I am not a big fan of young children running as that scares me quite a bit, so I bark at them which scares both of us, so older children in the home may be a better fit. I love sleeping in my foster mom’s bed at night; she gets a pillow and I get my own! I do a pretty good job of going to the bathroom outside, but if my foster parents are at work and I have to go while I’m in my kennel, I will do that. I always have to go to the bathroom immediately after I wake up, as well as after every meal. My foster mom has me on a potty schedule, and I won’t have accidents in the house if the schedule is followed. I am an energetic boy who would benefit from a family who likes being active! My foster mom and I walk 2.5 miles about 4 times per week. I am a good walker on the leash most of the time, but if a dog is barking at me, sometimes I want to see what the noise is about! In between those walks, I play in the yard with my foster siblings! I love eating sticks and grass, so my foster mom has to supervise me. I am good in my kennel; as soon as my foster mom opens the treat jar, I will run to my crate so I can eat my treat! I love food and am a proud member of the clean plate club! I also love treats and bones! I am scared to get in the car, but if a dog friend gets in first, I will follow! However, if I’m going somewhere alone, my foster mom has to lift me in the car (all 60 pounds of me!) Once I am in the car, I am quiet and take a nap most of the time. I usually sit on the floor of the backseat where I feel most comfortable. If you’re looking to add a big dopey boy to your family, apply for me today! Story
Dior is the sweetest and goofiest pup but he needs to be in a home where he is the only one and can give lots of kisses to his new owner. He had a rough time when he was little because his big brother and him didn’t get along. He has had a couple of surgeries because of it. This has given him PTSD. He sleeps in his kennel and is house trained. He looks at his kennel as his safe space so doesn’t like when people get too close. We love him so much but he can’t be with his brother anymore. The best home for him would be with no pets or children and given the love he gives out.

Story
Name: Cora Breeds: Pit Bull Mix Age: Adult Sex: Female Size: Large Cora is a sweet pittie girl who found herself all alone in this cold weather. She is the typical young pittie who needs lots of exercise to be happy. Luckily she absolutely loves to play and gets along famously with our other foster, Batman. She is quite the puller on leash, but is learning that not pulling makes for a better walk. She sticks around off leash and absolutely loves romping around in our fenced yard. She is a bit bull headed (show me a pittie who isn't!), but is learning "leave it" and is very treat motivated. She crates well and is doing excellent on house training (a few accidents post shelter are expected). However, while she is not aggressive, she also will not back down when challenged so needs either slow introductions or a non alpha dog in the family. Dog-savvy cats are also preferred as she does show interest in them, but really wants to play. Cats are surprisingly resistant to playing with a big slobbery dog, however. If you have a friendly dog who loves wrestling, then Cora will fit right in! She would also love a situation where she was the only dog and received all the love and attention. Cora is about 45 lbs and 2 years old Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, deworming, and microchip Interested in adopting? Story
Name: Isabella Breeds: Pit Bull Mix Age: Young Adult Sex: Female Size: Medium Isabella is a funny eared, medium sized Pit Bull. She was found dumped in a parking lot, engorged with milk, skinny, and looking for love in all the wrong places. She found herself in the shelter and is committed to passing along all the love in her body to everyone she meets! She is great with other dogs and loves people. She is full of wiggles and wags for everyone. Isabella is young despite being a momma herself and deserves to be loved like the baby she is even if we suppose at about 2 years old she isn’t really a baby anymore. She cannot wait to be someone’s best friend. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $500 + tax.
