Story
Gemma is a beautiful, two year old pit bull. She is from Arizona, where she was severely neglected by her previous family. We found her in Scottsdale through The Desert Dog Project (thedesertdogprojct.org) rescue, which is run by a friend. At first, Gemma seemed like the perfect dog for us so we drove her home, to Minnesota. Gemma is clingy and has a lot of anxiety due to her previous neglect and abandonment. She needs a warm, loving home without other animals. We have trained her to leave our 3 cats alone, but it took some time and work, and from time to time, we still see the look in her eyes telling us she is thinking about attacking She seems to covet women over men but easily latches onto whoever gives her positive energy and attention. A perfect day to Gemma is to snuggle with you/at your side in bed, on the couch or simply playing shadow, as she follows you around the house. We are moving and cannot bring her sweet self with us. She is young but overall a really good dog.

Story
Location St Paul, MN It's hard to believe sometimes that this girl had any challenges prior to finding her way into our home. This cutie is crate trained and potty trained. She is loving, sweet, incredibly goofy, and has a gentleness about her that is hard to ignore. She does show some signs of fear in certain situations, most noticeably around men, which she communicates rather subtly. Even still, she rebounds and trusts quickly when approached with a calm, affectionate demeanor... and with treats! Even in situations where she seems nervous or anxious, she has shown no signs of reactivity. She is also an absolute joy to bring on outings so if you are looking for a companion to run errands with, she's your gal! She loves car rides, feeling the wind on her face, and just generally being with you wherever you go :) She loves to get her zoomies out in the yard and will sometimes snort as she runs, which is just one of the many ways she brightens our days! Her favorite things are looking out the front window, zooming through the yard, sniffing around on walks, ripping apart her stuffed toys to get to the squeaker, playing with other doggo friends (she has gotten along amazingly with our 6mo old resident puppy), and of course, freeze-dried liver treats. When she isn't being her fun-loving, goofy self while playing with humans or canines, she's a HUGE fan of cuddling up on the couch or bed. Wherever you prefer is fine with her as long as she gets to snuggle with you! Snow Bear will make a wonderful companion in just about any home and has lived with children, which we can see being a good fit based on her loving nature, but we think she would truly thrive in an adult only home with a submissive, gentle doggy sibling. Again, she loves other dogs, but unfortunately was paired with an assertive pup who preferred to be an only dog in her previous home so we would love for her next sibling (if she has one) to be more gentle and welcoming of her! We just adore this sweet girl and cannot wait for her to find the perfect forever home! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Apple Valley, MN Meet Sloane – Looking for a dog with both heart and personality? Meet Sloane, a stunning 1-year-old, 47-pound pit bull mix with beautiful markings and an even more beautiful soul. This girl is equal parts goofball and cuddlebug—she’ll have you laughing one minute with her belly-up wiggles and snorting ball chases, and melting the next as she snuggles up for a chest rub or snoozy nap at your side. Sloane is thriving in her foster home, where she’s showing her affectionate, playful, and loyal nature. She’s housebroken, kennel trained, and adores her toys—especially balls (we’re working on the “drop it” part, but she’s eager to learn!). She has a velcro-dog vibe and really bonds with her people, always nearby, always ready for snuggles or a game. She is still learning to feel safe out in the world and can be reactive on walks when she sees strangers, kids, or other dogs—but she’s smart and very food motivated, and her training is already making a difference. Sloane is still working on her confidence. She can be hesitant and fearful with strangers and needs slow introductions and patience to feel safe. Because of this, she’s looking for an adult-only, dog-savvy home with people committed to continuing her training and helping her build trust at her own pace. Kids are just too scary for her right now, and she hasn’t been tested with cats. The good news? She’s already making great progress. With love, structure, and snacks, this girl is going to blossom even more. She does well with other dogs and would thrive with a calm, confident canine companion or as your one-and-only. Sloane has some allergies, but they’re manageable and haven’t slowed her down one bit. She’s playful, affectionate, silly, and sweet—truly a gem waiting for the right person to help her shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will reward your patience with endless affection (and the cutest back rolls you’ve ever seen), Sloane just might be your girl. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Meet Phoebe! She is 6 years old and 50 lbs of pitty love. She'll do anything for a cool morning walk and a peanut butter kong! Bee is a people pleaser, professional cuddler, is very smart, and always tries her best. She is such a loving dog in the home and can be an incredible companion for the right person(s). She knows many tricks, is crate trained, and even rings a bell to go outside! Phoebe has a lot of energy that her owner cannot keep up with anymore due to injuries from an auto accident. She deserves to live an active and trusting life with someone who sees her potential... Looking for respite fosters, fosters for placement, or a forever home. An owner with dog anxiety knowledge is ideal, or anyone willing to help her navigate this wild human world.

Story
Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She needs a low energy, confident dog as dogs with aniexty only feed hers. Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love. Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family! Faith's adoption fee is $475 and will arrive fully vetted, altered, and microchipped. If interested in Faith, please fill out an application at www.newbeganimalrescue.org ##989459##

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Minnie is a sweet brindle pup who's playful, curious, and learning fast! At just 4 months old, she’s already kennel trained and doing great with potty training—thanks to a consistent schedule. She loves toys and is pretty respectful about what’s okay to chew. That said, leave a slipper out and she might proudly show it off—don’t worry, she’ll happily trade it for a treat! Minnie adores her foster brother (also a brindle—brother from another mother!) and is working on her manners, like sitting nicely and not jumping when excited. She’s the kind of dog who will melt your heart and grow up to be your most loyal companion. Minnie is looking for a forever home where she can keep blossoming into the amazing pup she’s meant to be. While she hasn't had much exposure to feline companions or kiddos, we believe with proper introductions, she would do great around both! If you're looking for a smart, social, and loving pup who's eager to please, Minnie might just be your perfect match! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2417150##
