Hi there, I’m Gravity — but my friends just call me Grav. And if you’re looking for a fun, loyal, snuggly best friend... well, we might just be meant for each other. I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever home for two whole years. I don’t know why I keep getting overlooked—I’m playful, cuddly, and really good at being a very good boy. But I believe my person is out there somewhere. Maybe it’s you? Let me tell you a little about myself: I LOVE other dogs. Big ones, little ones, young or old—I’ll play, share my toys, and be the life of the party. I’m smart and eager to please. I already know “sit” and “shake,” and I’m happy to learn more, especially if treats or belly rubs are involved. I’m house-trained. Like, 100%. Not a single accident here. I’m a master cuddler. When the toys are put away and the house is quiet, there’s nowhere I’d rather be than curled up next to you. I don’t just love—I bond. Deeply. During the day, I’m perfectly content hanging out in a cozy bedroom while you’re off doing human things. I’ll nap, chew on a toy or two, and dream about our next walk or snuggle session. My foster home has teenagers, two Great Danes, a Pomsky, and even a macaw, and I get along with everyone. I'm just that kind of guy—go with the flow, happy to be included, and always ready for the next adventure. I might not have flashy colors or a fancy breed name, but I’ve got something even better: a heart full of love and a lifetime of loyalty just waiting to be given. If you’re ready for a dog who will bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life, I’m ready for you. Let’s stop the waiting game and start our forever story together. Love,Gravity (your future best friend) ##1749713##

Story
Meet Champ – A True Champion of Love and Loyalty After six years in the care of The Rescue Crew, Champ is more than ready for his forever home. This 75-pound stunner is a one-of-a-kind blend of Doberman Pinscher and Staffordshire Terrier, with a noble heart, a playful spirit, and the kind of loyalty you only find once in a lifetime. Champ is a seasoned gentleman—strong, smart, and sweet—with a deep desire to bond with the right person. He’s especially hoping to meet a confident woman to call his own. Life has taught Champ to be cautious with strangers, but once you’re in his circle, he’ll be your biggest fan, your warmest snuggler, and your most devoted protector. An athlete at heart, Champ lives for movement—whether it’s bounding through fresh snow on a trail run, launching into a solo game of fetch, or going paw-to-hand in a flirt pole showdown. After his workouts, he’s all about rest and relaxation: peanut butter Kongs, chew toys by the fire, and curling up in bed as your big spoon. Yes, Champ is as affectionate as he is active! Champ has learned a lot in foster care, mastering commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “drop it,” and is always eager to please. He walks beautifully on a leash, especially when he knows he’s making you proud. His ideal home would be one without shared walls, since he takes home security seriously and doesn’t hesitate to announce visitors. He’s great with dogs his size or larger, but no small animals or cats, please. Due to his strength and energy, older children (middle school and up) would be the best match. Most of all, Champ is looking for someone who sees him—not just his strength or his bark, but his beautiful heart. Someone who can give him the structure, patience, and love he’s waited so long to find. He’s a softie underneath that muscular frame, and he’s held onto hope that his perfect match is still out there. After six years of waiting, Champ deserves his happy ending. Could you be the woman he’s been dreaming of? Apply to meet Champ today. His forever story starts with you. ##1329389##

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $375.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Rocket! I'm an owner surrender from Minnesota. From the foster: It's now been six months since we started fostering Rocket, and here at home we call her Mary Lou! She is doing amazing at learning and growing! She's been working hard, and it shows. She was off of the adoptable dog list during this time but she's come a long way and is now ready to find her loving forever home. Anxiety is still something she deals with, and may always deal with to a degree, but medications (both Rx and over the counter) are really helping her out. Slow introductions with people continue to be necessary although she relaxes much more quickly than she did when she first arrived at our home. It'll take some more time, but we think this won't always be an issue for her. (and see note about TBB offering training to help with this included as part of her adoption!) She is an energetic puppy and loves to play hard with her toys and run around the yard, and then she crashes just as hard for a nap. Her rumbly snores are so cute! The couch is her favorite spot for naps, and she sleeps in bed with us at night. She likes to lay back-to-back or spoon with you. Mary Lou loves to be close by and will follow you all over the house. Regarding playing, she has now mastered 'shake' and is almost there with 'drop it' when we throw her tennis balls. She also knows 'sit' and 'stay', and - depending on her mood - she comes when called. Treats are a big motivator for her. Because she likes to be around her people so much, she doesn't like to be left alone for too long. She is not destructive at all and she doesn't have accidents, she just gets lonely. Fortunately for flexible work schedules, Mary Lou hasn't been home alone for more than about a 5 hour stretch. Even when we just pop out for a quick errand she is thrilled when we return home. Things we continue to work on: * Meeting people. As I mentioned above, this is improving! And once she feels safe, she loves the attention and having more friends to play with. * She still doesn't do great on walks. We're working on it, and this is something the trainer can help with as well. * Mary Lou has not been introduced to cats or other dogs yet. We have lots of bunnies, squirrels, and chipmunks in our yard, and she doesn't chase them. She seems to have a low hunting drive. A few times we've seen her just stop and look at the baby bunnies with her tail wagging. I think that with the right introduction she would probably be ok (and would likely love) living with a cat. Dog introductions will take more work. Mary Lou requires a fenced yard and someone who will take the time to finish helping her feel safe, and show her how great life can be. She is uncomfortable around loud noise and would prefer a quieter home. Mary Lou will thrive being part of a family that isn't gone for long periods of time. At this point, continuing with her anxiety protocol is also necessary. It's possible with training and growing out of puppyhood that it won't always be part of her life. Sweet and silly, Mary Lou is an absolutely amazing dog and is 1000% worth the effort. Literally every day we say that we wish we could keep her as part of our family. If you are looking for a cuddly friend who will love you with her whole heart and will make you laugh multiple times a day, Mary Lou is the girl for you. * Are you thinking about putting in an application for me but you're seeing that I may need some help with training? Not to worry! My adoption comes with training support because The Bond Between wants to help me and my forever family. They know that some dogs need some extra support after adoption and they are all about setting me up for success. You can ask to speak to a trainer if you'd like more information about it. The trainer will tell you that I am worth it! *

I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hello my name is Bean, I'm from Minnesota! Bean (I've been calling her Cricket) is a rambunctious goof who will keep you laughing. Whether it's her lopsided ears, how she backs up her butt to sit on your lap, or how she flops on her back to play with toys, this sweetheart is sure to win you over. Bean is housetrained - not a single accident even when she had a tummy ache. She's working on leash training with some loose leash successes. Bean has some anxiety around the kennel. She will reluctantly go in for a treat, but she gets stressed out and prefers to just be left in a quiet room instead. Bean is very playful and will hop after toys (like a Cricket!). Because she's so strong and can be jumpy when excited, Bean would do best in a home with older children or just adults. She is not aggressive toward cats, but she does come on a little strong and likes to chase. Bean is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Bean needs to be in an active home to burn off all of her energy. She also seems like she'd really enjoy ongoing training. When we practiced commands, she was very attentive and wagged her tail eagerly. She will sit, come when you make click sounds, her name (both Bean and Cricket), and will even give you kisses if you ask.

Temp foster needed 6/6-6/17 Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt My name is Doug. Doug is so sweet, he’s happy, loving and playful - everyone that meets him, adores him. He's super excited to greet new people. He is intelligent, welcomes learning and praise, is treat motivated and always gentle when taking food from your hand. When you need him to be calm, he settles right in and loves to snuggle on the couch, but likes his bed too / he sleeps in the best but weirdest positions. He likes car rides (but not the car wash!) and thoroughly enjoys being in our presence. When we come home, he meets us with a toy and "talks" to us with the squeakers. He is a VERY good dog and will be a loyal companion. He lived between the city and a farm so likes to chase rabbits and squirrels; he can get quite distracted in the yard and while out on walks, but…he has made GREAT strides with listening and following commands and even runs alongside while my boyfriend rides his bike. We do not kennel him; he's been with us since July and hasn’t had an accident in the house. He has never shown aggression towards anyone in our home or yard – including our mailman! We believe Doug would do well as the only pet, or maybe with a female resident dog (and a slow introduction), also in a home with older kids – he doesn’t understand that his “affection” can be a bit too much for the littles. He is truly a “people dog”. Do you have room in your family for even more love?

Story
Blu was a stray from Houston Texas. My daughter who is living there shipped him to us after being neutered. We have 2 other dogs already. He is amazing toward the 3 of us that live in our home, but wants to be aggressive toward others that enter our home. Really protective and I just had another kid come home from school so trying to balance when both are home is a challenge. Would be great to be with a person wanting to train him that doesn’t have other animals to distract.
