If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Daphne — 40lbs of pure, unfiltered, pitbull perfection with a special zest for life. If you’ve been searching for a dog with main-character energy and a strong commitment to keeping life interesting, your girl has arrived. Daphne's passions revolve around playtime. She's a tug-of-war champion and a squeaky toy connoisseur who will happily review (loudly) every toy you provide. Have too many toys hanging around? Toys that need breaking in? Squeakers on the inside that need to be on the outside? She can take care of that and all your custom toy destruction needs. When she's all tuckered out, don't forget to tune in for her rendition of particularly loud house hippo snores. Daphne is truly the life of the party, with ear positions so expressive they deserve their own TikTok account. Her zoomies rival a track star, and her sploots? Olympic-level. Please clap. Her hobbies are just as iconic:  Attempting to drink all the bath water before she’s fully clean. Proudly carrying her own leash on excursions, because miss independent's got this. Critiquing your cooking with the intensity of a Food Network judge. Accidentally bonking her adorable block head into every corner of your home, because spatial awareness is for other dogs. Daphnee is goofy, lovable, and bursting with personality. She’s looking for a home that can appreciate her silly spirit, embrace her chaos, and love her endlessly in return. If you’re ready for laughs, playtime, cuddles, and a daily dose of joyful nonsense, Daphnee might just be your perfect match. The Fine Print (aka: Daphne’s Disclaimer): This girl has zero comprehension of her own enthusiasm and may accidentally overwhelm tiny humans - a toddler-free home is recommended. Cats are a similar case, though she's proven to do well with dog-savvy felines. Kennel training is currently a work in progress; she approaches it with the same chaotic enthusiasm she brings to all things — like she’s the slightly dramatic heiress of her crate kingdom. With consistency (and maybe some snacks), she’s getting the hang of it. Daphnee will thrive with a confident, committed owner who can continue her training, reinforce structure, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi, my name is Laklyn and I am from Georgia! From her foster: This pretty little lady will warm your heart. She is a huge snuggler and loves lots of attention. She also is very goofy and a bit clumsy, but that just adds to her sweet and calm disposition. She will be hard to say goodbye to. From the Vet: Laklyn was evaluated at The BB Vet Center shortly after arrival, she has completed treatment for a mild eye infection. The main concern for her was we noted she has a tendency to stand on 3 legs instead of all 4. We took radiographs of the rear leg she holds up in the air and the veterinarian noted deformities/inflammation consistent with Panosteitis or "growing pains" commonly associated with the long bones in large breed dogs. She may hold up her leg from time to time, however she is regularly using the leg normally and is still a high energy happy girl!

I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi, my name is Marmalade. I am from Georgia. Marmalade is a loving dog who just raised her last litter of puppies. She has a mellow personality, and wouldn't mind lounging around with you. When she's got a burst of energy, she happily stomps and tussles with toys! She's happy to entertain herself, and her preference is to be someone's one and only furry friend to get all the pets, love and treats to herself. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $375.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Rocket! I'm am from Minnesota. Rocket is such a fun and loving girl. She is very energetic and LOVES games! Rocket enjoys playing with her toys and chasing balls in the backyard. She even made up a game of hide and seek and trained us how to play! She very playful and incredibly smart! A good nap on the couch or under your desk at your feet is also appreciated, because it can wear a puppy out playing so hard. It is one of the cutest things ever when she gets the zoomies; she is so fast! Rocket, is also good about entertaining herself and will settle down and work on a bone if it isn’t time for playing together. Rocket would be best in a home where she isn’t left alone for too long. She has never had any accidents in the house and isn’t destructive at all, but she definitely prefers to be in the company of others. Rocket, is on medication for her anxiety and is working hard with her trainer; she has come a long way since she first arrived at our house! She’ll need to continue with medication and her adoption includes some training sessions. We’ve seen a ton of improvement, but coordinated introductions with people continue to be necessary. A home with a fenced in yard and no shared walls are also necessary. A quieter street would be amazing for her. Going on walks, meeting other dogs, and dealing with loud noises are other things she can work on with you and her trainer. From her non-reaction to the rabbits and squirrels in our backyard it appears she doesn’t have a strong prey drive, but it is unknown how she would do with cats. For now, she would thrive being the only animal in the household. Everyone, even the “not dog people”, fall in love with Miss Rocket. If you can put in the time to help her feel safe and see how great life can be, you will be rewarded with her charming smile, her sweet snores, and a buddy who is always at your side. My adoption contract will include 3 training sessions and my adopters can choose foster to adopt where Rocket could live with an interested applicant for 1 month before moving forward with adoption.

Story
Hi, my name is Sandy and I am from Alabama! From her foster: Sandy is a spunky, fun loving, pup who also loves a good cuddle session between play sessions. She is learning from our resident dog about adult dog boundaries and is also learning lots from our resident cats. However, she would do best in a home without cats as she likes to wrestle our unwilling kitten at times. Sandy is a quick learner and is pretty much potty trained. When she does have accidents, its usually because us humans aren't being consistent with outside time. We are working on kennel training and she knows that kennel time is bed time. Sometimes she isn't the biggest fan of the kennel, but she usually settles within a couple of minutes. Sandy now knows to "Sit" and "Lie Down" on command for treats and will definitely pick up new tricks with enough snacks. Sandy needs a patient family willing to work with her as she has LOTS of puppy energy. We are working on learning to not nip at hands to engage play as it is hurtful to the humans. She should always be supervised or in a puppy safe space as she is learning what is acceptable to play with and can get into some mischief if not supervised. Sandy would thrive in a home with lots of attention to give, patience, and energy to match hers.

Story
Meet Suzy – The Ultimate Couch Queen Looking for Her Perfect Match ISO: A financially stable, emotionally secure, dog-loving man who appreciates a strong, independent, curvy woman with opinions — and isn’t afraid to validate them. Got a trust fund? Great job? Excellent. I’m the kind of girl who knows what she wants, when she wants it, and isn’t afraid to say so. I respect a good leader — just don’t be a pushover. Confidence is key! My ideal date night? Kicking back on the couch, binge-watching TV in the air conditioning. If you’re into hiking, running, or “going for walks to clear your head,” we’re probably not a match. I’m strictly an indoor gal. Anything above 70 degrees? Hard pass. Oh, and if your A/C isn’t running full-time from May through November, this won’t work out. Speaking of couches — big, comfy ones only. If I can’t stretch out, we have a problem. Have another dog? That’s cool, as long as they know I’m the boss. Cats? We’ll see. If they’re wild and doing laps around the house, I might join in or tell them to knock it off — depends on my mood. Other women in your life (mom, sister, daughter, girlfriend, wife)? Totally fine — as long as they aren’t jealous, because let’s be honest… they’re going to fall in love with me too. If you think you can handle this level of fabulous, slide into my DMs (aka fill out an adoption application). You’ll have to get past my foster mom first, but if you can impress her, trust me — I’m yours.
