Meet Champ, a striking 75-pound blend of Doberman Pinscher and Staffordshire Terrier, with a heart as big as his physique. This charming gentleman is on the lookout for a special lady to call his own. Champ takes his fitness seriously and loves to stay active. His long legs make him a fantastic runner, especially when he's bounding through winter snow on exhilarating trail runs. He's even a pro at solo fetch, enthusiastically tossing a toy and retrieving it with zest. Champ's game for a flirtatious tug of war, making him an excellent muscle-building partner. After a good workout, Champ indulges in some self-care by tending to his dental hygiene with chew toys by the fireside or a well-deserved Kong filled with peanut butter and a tasty milkbone. He may take a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he's comfortable, his affection knows no bounds. Champ absolutely adores bedtime snuggles, relishing the role of the big spoon to keep you warm on those chilly nights. Champ would thrive in a home without shared walls, as he takes his job as your protector seriously and will alert you to any passerby with his enthusiastic barks. While he's great with other dogs, Champ isn't a fan of cats or small creatures. Due to his exuberance, he's best suited for a household with older children, preferably in middle school or above. When it comes to adults, Champ is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention among adult women. He's had some tough experiences in the past, likely with male figures, and prefers to avoid competition for affection. This wonderful boy would also benefit from a family with prior experience with bully breeds and confident, strong leadership. Champ isn't just brawn and good looks; he's also quite the smarty. He's already mastered commands like "sit," "shake," and "drop" during his time in foster care, and he's eager to learn more from his special lady. With impeccable manners, he's a joy to take out on the town, strutting his stuff with the leash in your capable hands. Champ is a sweet and playful companion seeking the perfect lady to be his exercise partner, snuggle buddy, and evening date. If you think you might be the one he's been waiting for, please send an application to his foster, and they'll arrange that first unforgettable date. ##1329389##

Story
Greetings, dear friends! I'm Groot, and in the loving embrace of my foster family, they've dubbed me "the best boy." At 55 lbs, I'm a delightful blend of love and dashing good looks, wrapped up in a pit bull package. With me, you'll find the perfect balance of energy, playfulness, and the occasional lazy day as a couch potato. Currently, I reside with my foster parents, a human foster sibling, and a canine foster sister whom I adore with all my heart. While I've found a soulmate in my foster sister, it's worth mentioning that there have been a few other dogs I've met who didn't quite earn my seal of approval. But fear not, I don't require the title of "only dog" because I absolutely relish playing tug of war with my foster sister. All I need are slow introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable, and I'm confident we can form lasting friendships that would make our tails wag with joy. I've developed a fondness for leisurely walks with my foster family and have been diligently refining my leash manners. Nowadays, the only time they're not stellar is when something fascinating catches my eye, beckoning me to explore. This summer, I had a revelation when I discovered the wonders of a hose. Let me tell you, it's one of the most captivating things ever – chasing that elusive stream of water is a sheer delight! In my time with my foster family, I've acquired some impressive skills. I've learned how to sit, stay, and even shake paws. Admittedly, I don't fully comprehend the reasoning behind these commands, but I've come to realize that they result in the most delectable treats, so I don't question them too much. After an exhilarating play session, I find immense joy in lounging around, chewing on toys, sticks (though sticks are strictly an outdoor affair, as per my foster mom), or bones while basking in the warm embrace of the sun. My foster family likes to tease me, claiming that I occasionally fall asleep and snore during these peaceful moments, but I choose not to believe them; that would be rather embarrassing! Now, my foster dad mentioned something about watering the garden, and I'm quite certain he could use my assistance with that hose. If you'd like to know more about me, please don't hesitate to submit an application. I'm eager to meet you, share my love, and embark on this heartwarming journey together. ##1749538##

Introducing Momma Paloma, a stunning gray and white pit bull who's been rocking the role of supermom to her adorable puppies. This powerhouse pup is not only a pro at parenting but also a champ at house training, boasting a laid-back demeanor perfect for cozy couch cuddles with her beloved humans. While she hasn't had the pleasure of mingling with feline friends yet, Paloma has shown her friendly side with larger dogs, though she prefers their company over that of the pint-sized pooches. But let's not forget her leash-walking prowess—Paloma struts her stuff with finesse, enjoying leisurely strolls while soaking up the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. Though initially reserved, this sweetheart warms up to new faces with a bit of time, and once she's done nurturing her little ones, she's bound to shine even brighter with her affectionate nature. Story
Do you want a pint size of happiness and love to call your own?  If so, keep reading and meet Pandora. She is a muscly short-legged ginger girl, who is just waiting to be found so she can sashay her wiggling behind all the way to greet you with every chance she gets.  Her tail wags non-stop once you give her a smidge of time to know you and once it starts, it never stops!  Sadly, she was left to her own devices in a local park and needed some medical attention quickly. Thankfully the Rescue Crew provided that care and she is healed almost completely. Pandora still has a little swelling on her bottom and needs to be let out a little more frequently than average, and with doing so has no accidents. She is doing great and will be back to 100% very soon. She is kennel trained and social with other dogs - she LOVES to play and would be hard pressed to live with another dog who didn’t enjoy her playtime antics. She has also loved every person she meets.  We have not had any exposure with small kids and cats at this time, so unsure of that dynamic. Though most probably she would need some supervision in those circumstances as she is on the young side of life and needs her box of toys and bones to chew on to pass her time. However, she also relaxes and snoozes fairly readily - making the most adorable little bear cub sounds as she settles in next to you. She is quite frankly pretty perfect - super attentive & focused, smart, affectionate and an all-around lovely girl whose amber eyes match her beautiful soft amber-red coat. If you are looking for a loving companion - look no further….Pandora is your girl!  ##2013940##

Story
A portion of Coco's adoption fee has been sponsored by her friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $275.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi, my name is Coco! From the Foster: A typical day with Coco, I am home with Coco all day, with the exception of appointments, errands, etc. After nearly 2 years in our home, Coco has settled in and become a delightful companion dog. She gets along well with, and seems to take cues from, my black lab with a calm temperament. I have modified living arrangements such that the cats are kept separate from her- she seems to have high prey drive and due to limited vision perhaps cant really tell them apart from a squirrel. I had hoped after this long hearing and smelling them, and occasionally seeing them through the gate, she would have become accustomed to them, but alas she is just not a kitty dog. I keep Coco's medication pretty consistent, aiming for 12 hours apart. Coco and Lucy (my resident dog) both sleep on my bed all night. They don't get up until I do, and are great about going right outside and then in to eat and Coco has her oral meds, eye meds, and insulin. She is a champ taking her meds, doesn't resist at all. Throughout the day, Coco and Lucy go between my office and bedroom, taking long naps (they are 9 after all). Coco loves to race outside into the fenced yard with Lucy and search for real or imagined critters. The only thing that deters her is rain! A strange sound or presence will get her raising the alarm, but she settles down quickly and back to her sniffing and taking long luxurious naps in the sun. She may alarm due to her limited vision, but no significant limitations. Coco loves to be where I am, and would rather tag along in the car than be left behind, but thanks to occasional medication and my very mellow black lab, she is feeling more secure and safe as time goes on. She does fine out of the crate in the house, does not chew on unacceptable items, and can wait several hours to go outside. She has never had an accident indoors. Coco loves a long walk, especially a leisurely sniffari. Due to a lot of training, she is not nearly as concerned about other dogs out on walks as she used to be. I try not to get too close for comfort for her, and help her feel safe and confident. SHH can set an adopter up with ongoing training, too. She is pretty stressed, though, if she cant get out of perceived threat area, so instead of dog parks or busy recreation areas, we stick with the familiar neighborhood and a quiet regional nature park. Evenings are super-relaxed. Right after eating their dinner, both pups settle in for reading, watching a movie, or going to bed early. Coco loves to lay on the couch next to a warm body. She isn't a lap dog, not a hugger, but does love to snuggle. Through the course of my veterinary care at The Bond Between it was found that I have diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, and mature cataracts. Luckily, my foster and the doctors at The Bond Between and BluePearl took great care of me, and I am now ready to find my forever home! I had surgery for my cataracts, and I can see much better now. Future adopters should know that due to my multiple endocrine diseases, I will need to continue to work with a primary veterinarian, as well as an internal medicine specialist (I am currently under the care of Dr. Mazepa at BluePearl.) To manage my diabetes, my adopter will need to administer insulin everyday, as well as monitor my glucose levels with the guidance of a veterinarian. I am also on medication for my hypothyroidism. It is recommended that discuss with my future vet clinic about recommended follows ups and labwork (CBC, chemistry, UA, Fructosamine and T4).

Story
I Need a temp Foster from May 25-27 and June 7-9 Please CLICK HERE to sign up to foster! From the foster: Hi! My name is Bill and I am from Minnesota. Are you a Ted looking for a Bill with whom to have a most excellent adventure?! Party on, dude! Have we got the Bill for you. Bill is a young guy who's ready for all kinds of action. Looking for a hiking partner? Take Bill! Need to do some yard work? Bill will aerate your lawn with daily zoomies! Watching Netflix after a long day? Bill will be your snuggly couch buddy! Unlike his movie counterparts, Bill's not about to flunk out of any classes; he's extremely food motivated and easy to train, and he takes treats gently. He's housebroken and will quickly figure out the bathroom routine at your house (for a treat). He'll give back those socks you left on the floor (for a treat). He'll sit, and lay down, and shake paws (for a treat). With Bill, treats are currency -- and if you run out of treats, affection will do in a pinch. He's a friendly pup who craves all the love and attention you have to spare. And with a noggin like his, Bill's got plenty of real estate for maximum head pats, which he will gladly accept from anyone. The most important rule of an excellent adventure is to be excellent to each other - and when he's set up for success with plenty of space and structure, Bill will be a wonderful addition to your family. He can live in a multi-dog household that is committed to facilitating slow introductions at his pace and willing to give him lots of decompression time and gentle supervision while he perfects his impulse control. Bill's future canine sibling(s) should be easy-going and well-adjusted. He plays rough and rowdy (maybe he was a pro wrestler in a past life) and any other dogs in the household should be able to match that energy, or at least tolerate it. The introduction to his foster's resident dog took several weeks, but now the two rough house together and enjoy tandem walks, and Bill is fully integrated into his foster's lives. Bill doesn't require another canine companion, to be clear - he'd also be a great only pet! (For sure no cats. His fosters have tested that one out for you already.) When it comes to human roommates, older kids only for Bill...he can be a little jumpy and might knock a very small child down in his excitement. Originally picked up by Animal Control as a stray, Bill's life may not always have been an excellent adventure, and he has a few scars on his face to prove it. To overcome the adversity of his unknown history, Bill asks for patience and understanding from his new family. He is skittish about very loud noises and needs a safe, quiet place to retreat when he feels uncomfortable. He must be allowed to eat his meals separate from any other resident dogs. For a medium-sized guy, he pulls surprisingly hard on walks and will benefit from consistent and dedicated leash training. He is very alert to other dogs he sees in the neighborhood but has been receptive to desensitization methods (namely, he's showered with treats when he sees other dogs). Despite a few quirks, Bill has plenty of other tubular traits: he's fully crate trained and non-destructive when given free reign of his foster's first floor while they're at work - although he is still a puppy and has been known to target the usual, tempting suspects in his foster's house (socks, underwear, phone charging chords, etc.). If he grabs something he shouldn't have, he'll readily give it up in exchange for a treat or a toy. He does not display any separation anxiety when left alone during the day. He's active but will also spend hours snoozing on a dog bed. He plays with toys to keep himself entertained. He rides wonderfully in the car. He's eager to please and adorably goofy. Sometimes he barks (especially when he hears the neighborhood dogs), but most often he'll cough or snort or sneeze at unexpected sounds. He'll be absolutely pumped to see you every day when you walk through the door. Bill's just a good dude who's adored by his fosters and has all the most stellar years ahead of him. For Bill, the best place to be is your home, and the best time to be with you is now.

Story
Hi, everyone! My name is Chilli! My foster mom says I am practically *perfect* in every way. I am snuggly, playful, affectionate, gorgeous, house trained, and crate trained! I currently live in an apartment and do well with shared walls! I am a strong girl so need someone who handle me during walks. See?! I told you - practically PERFECT! Which leads me to the word "practically" - I do have one small issue. I take time to trust doggy friends. What does this mean? With slow, proper intros (think 1+ week of baby gates, smells, crate and rotate) I become besties with other dogs. I am SUPER appropriate with other dogs, good at reading their signals, and love to play. But until I trust my fellow pups, I am a "freak on a leash" they say... which means no dog parks, no breweries, no doggy playdates for me! So, do I sound like the perfect pooch for you?! I hope so! I can't wait to find my family!

Juniper is in search of a loving leader that can provide her with a forever home. She is a sweet girl and a fast learner, She puts herself to bed in her crate at night and does well in an enclosed crate during the day, She rings a doorbell to go outside. She is doing great with her loose leash walking and loves going on long hikes and splashing in a creek! She loves people and does amazing with our kids, should be monitored around other dogs and best in a one dog home. She is not leash reactive and enjoys pack walks. She deserves to find a safe home with a confident human to look up to. She is an Absolutely beautiful soul and if our two dogs got a long we wouldn't consider rehoming, but she deserves more attention and love and less crate. you have any further questions please fill out an application and I would love to give you more information! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Martha came to Redemption Road Rescue from a pound in TX where she was set to be euthanized due to over crowding and her sarcoptic mange. A volunteer drove down to get her to foster and she is now healthy and has a beautiful brindle coat.  Martha is a great companion and will bond tightly with her forever family. She currently has small senior dog foster siblings and would benefit from another dog who is willing and able to play with her. She is an active girl and likes walks and playing to keep busy and burn off energy. She has not been cat tested. She has played well with kids age 12+, and is very rambunctious.   Martha is doing great with potty training and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained for when her fosters are out of the house, but sleeps in bed with them at night. She LOVES walks to burn off that energy, so she can have some couch potato time too!   Martha is a smart girl who needs a knowledgable andpatient home to help her in her transition from TX street dog to spoiled member of her forever family. Be sure to check out the photo in her bio that shows her Embark breed analysis!! Story
Looking for a pup companion that finds wonder with everything she encounters?  Meet Maple!  Miss Maple is a sweet soul that has that irresistible puppy innocence, curious about everything that comes across her path.  Twigs are up for examination.  Leaves are new creatures to explore!  In Maple’s little mind, nature is a novel treasure and she is a happy girl with every opportunity to explore again and again.  She loves to play with her favorite stuffy, attack squeakers, rip off tags, and is always up for a game of fetch in the back yard. She playfully invites the neighbor doggo for a romping session to join in the fun through the fence, but when he can’t play she tries to convince her teeny tiny foster brother to play (he would rather play with someone closer to his own size…boo).  And she LOVES to ride in the car, just looking out the window.  Here is a bit more info on Miss Maple: Leash Manners:  We’re working it!  She goes on daily walks and is learning not to pull. Housetraining:  In progress:  She knows what to do, but does want someone to go out with her.  Rainy days are extra challenging.  Who likes to volunteer to get wet anyway? Kennel Training:  She sleeps in her kennel with no accidents.  In the morning she is ready to come out for her morning potty break right away. Vocalization:  She rarely lets out a bark, but rather prefers to communicate with you with a gentle nuzzle or a wag of her tail.  Prey Drive/Other Animals:  She does appear curious about small critters (pulls on the leash, but does not bolt).  She has not been cat tested. She lives with a min-pin and comes across large dogs on her walks. She gets along with dogs of all sizes! Children:  She currently is in a household with older children.  However, note she is at the mouthing puppy stage (primarily for play). ##2018321##
