Story
Meet Our Diamond in the Rough, Ginny! Our sweet Ginny is a beautiful Queensland Heeler mix with a heart of gold, just waiting for the right person to help her shine! This lovely lady can be a little shy and timid when meeting new people or finding herself in new indoor environments. She takes her time to feel safe and secure, and in those moments, she might seem a little reserved or even try to make herself small. But don`t let her initial hesitation fool you! Once Ginny steps outside into a spacious play yard, a wonderful transformation happens. She blossoms into a playful and energetic girl who absolutely loves to run, chase after a ball, and explore her surroundings. It`s in these open spaces that her happy and curious nature truly comes out, and she starts to warm up to people, showing glimpses of the loyal and affectionate companion she`s longing to be. Ginny is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust and build trust. A calm and quiet home environment, without a lot of constant foot traffic or loud noises, would be ideal for her to feel secure. Someone with experience with shy or timid dogs would be a huge plus! Could you be the patient and loving person who helps our diamond in the rough truly sparkle? She has so much love to give, and she`s just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to share it fully. To learn more about Ginny and how to meet her, please come down to the shelter.

Meet Maya! This adorable cattle dog pup is ready to steal your heart. Although she a little nervous and shy at first, once Maya warms up, she is an energetic, affectionate, smart companion. Please do your research on cattle dogs if you intend to adopt, as these dogs need a lot of attention and activity! Maya is still a puppy in a great time for training, socialization, and positive reinforcement. She has been doing fantastically in her foster home, learning how to trust people and even cats! Story
The Walking Dead Litter is ready for your puppy-ready home. These cuties are being raised in a loving foster home and have been offered socialization opportunities and are now adoptable. They are typical pups and are looking for committed and patient adopters who understand they need lots of training (house, crate, and leash when they are fully vaccinated.) We estimate their adult weight to be about 50 pounds, with no guarantees. As with any puppy, please be prepared for frequent potty breaks, training and socialization opportunities and lots of energy. *Please be home every 2 hours during this important developmental, training, and bonding stage. Puppies cannot be left alone! Read carefully: These puppies will be needing homes where families can provide lots of exercise as they become adults-a walk around the block will not suffice. Daily hiking and long walks will be necessary to keep both you and your dog happy and fulfilled. Active people are encouraged to apply. If you’re up to the joys and challenges of raising a puppy and can commit to a lifetime of care, please fill out a questionnaire. (Mama Valentine shown for reference.)

Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Paloma, the one-of-a-kind deaf pup who is sure to steal your heart with her stunning blue eyes and unique combination of 5 different breeds (Australian Cattle Dog, GSG and Husky to name the main ones), as shown in her DNA test results. This girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in a quiet neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma loves her dog foster siblings and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quiet area where she's got a yard to romp in, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is 3 years old and weighs 47 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Follow Paloma's foster journey with @the_skyline_pack on Instagram. I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereAt just 1 year old and 37 pounds, Carmine is a great mix of playful pup and gentle soul. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll discover the sweetest, most loving buddy who’s always ready to snuggle, play, or learn a new trick (he’s already mastered “sit” and “paw” in just a couple days!). Carmine is crate-trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and has no problem hanging out solo for a few hours if needed—he’s cool, calm, and collected when it counts. He’s had a bit of a journey and is still building his confidence, so he’d thrive in a home that can offer patience, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, as well as another canine sibling! If you're looking for a loyal companion, Carmine is ready to win your heart!
