Story
Dog was 1 year old when adopted from SPCA. She is now about 6 yrs old. She is fairly mellow but needs her walks. She loves playing with other dogs. She is gentle but gets hyper as well. She is not good with kids, as she tries to herd them. Unsure of children within the family. Need to be wary of joggers, bikers and passerbys as you walk her. She has leash aggression and her heeling instinct kicks in and can get her into trouble. She has nipped two people, unfortunately. She is OK at dog parks. She is the older sister to Luna, who was a couple months old when they became besties.

Story
WILLING TO TRAVEL FOR GOOD HOME As a puppy, Harry was found with his siblings roaming around Oakland. They were taken in by a shelter and treated for Parvo. However, as Parvo is highly contagious, Harry didn’t socialize with other dogs as a puppy and has become very afraid of other dogs. The Good: Harry is SUCH a good boy. He’s loving, attentive, and loyal. He loves affection and loves showing it. The Bad: Harry lunges for and, if off leash, will run towards and attack other dogs. With the help of a trainer, we are able to go on neighborhood walks where we diligently avoid other dogs. Harry has never significantly harmed another dog or human (i.e. nips and scratches only). I’m a single working professional who lives in an apartment. Because we’re not able to go to dog parks, Harry only gets outside time on walks and the occasional outside fetch. He deserves a chance to run around, explore and bathe in the sun as he enters older age.

This girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in the neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma is a pack animal and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quieter area, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Follow Paloma's foster journey with @the_skyline_pack on Instagram. I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereWith dainty paws and a big heart, Clara Bow is ready to be your BFF! This one year old Cattle Dog mix is a work-from-home pro and will chill right next you with no complaints all day. She is super quiet and calm, but playful when outside. While she’s still working on crate and house training, picking up these skills has been a breeze in her foster home—she’s a very fast learner. She sleeps through the night in her crate and has had no accidents with frequent potty breaks. While super affectionate with her friends, Clara Bow can take a little time to warm up and is still learning about the world. The ideal adopter will have a calm household, an enclosed yard, and be willing to let Clara Bow go at her own pace while she builds confidence and skills (especially leash skills!). She lives with other dogs in her foster home and would do fine solo or with another well matched dog. It is not known how she would do with cats, but she is quite gentle so definitely a “maybe” (slow intros recommended always!). Follow her in foster with @lucky_and_rangers_foster_pals on Instagram! Luna was found at the start of quarantine when she was a couple months old. She is about 3.5 years old. She is vocal, affectionate, hyper, attentive, playful, athletic and mischievous. She takes time and space to get warmed up to other dogs, but loves almost all people. She is very attached to her bestie, Bixby. She is also likely to follow her person around nearly everywhere. She has leash aggression, tending to bark at other dogs but not at people. Shoes, books, paper, and food are fair game for her to tear up if she can get it. She likes to dig and has the ability and tendency to jump over a standard size fence.
