Bobby, neutered male, 13-months old, 42-lbs If you would like to give BOBBY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Bobby is a lively, playful, and happy pup when around familiar environment. He is super mellow and well behaved by nature. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Bobby adapted and thrived quickly in foster care. He is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight. His favorite pastime is his daily walks and hanging out with play pals in the park. Bobby is calm and docile compared to young pups his age. He would be a great candidate for family looking for a companion pet. About Bobby’s rescue: Bobby was deserted at the park, he was around six months old at the time. Volunteer posted his story on social media asking for help, but didn’t get any response. He was friendly to the park visitors and sometimes played with their dogs. During the time the volunteer was looking for foster opportunity for him. Before an organized fair held at the park, Bobby was picked up by the local shelter. Fortunately, the volunteer landed a foster family for Bobby and got him out of the shelter shortly. Bobby got out of the shell and became his old and friendly self soon afterwards. Story
Koa is an adorable 7 month old male cattle dog mix, who has been with us a few months, becoming socialized to a home and other dogs. He currently weighs about 20-25 pounds. In his foster home, Koa is fairly confident and very playful with the other dogs. He has become very affectionate with his foster mom, but he still prefers dogs to people. Outside of the home, Koa gets overwhelmed easily, and is shy and fearful. In the house, he still can get startled by sudden noises or movements. The ideal home would be with a family familiar with dogs who have fear and anxiety issues, and a household that has a confident resident dog that is energetic and loves to play. Koa would do best in an adult-only household that is calm and with adopters and their resident dog who have the patience and time to help him build his confidence. If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
Meet Red! This stunning boy was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and was a staff favorite. He’s so incredibly affectionate, has played with well all other dogs, and is so happy. Red is around 35-40 pounds and likely a pitbull cattle dog mix we think. He’s up for a walk or hike, but also would just love to lounge at home or play with his foster brothers . He is crate trained and excited to find his new family! If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
Paya is a very lovable dog who can never get enough love and attention! She is only too happy to lay beside you or on your feet while you're working. She is also very food and praise motivated and a very quick learner for new commands or behaviors. She can both have an endless amount of energy to run around outside, but also spend days inside calmly when the weather outside is horrible. She interacts well with small, medium, and large dogs as she can be gentle with the small dogs but fully willing to tumble with the big dogs (and has the energy and speed to play chase with them). Her favorite activity with other dogs is to chase/be chased. She loves fetching balls. Her favorite activity is for us to separate a distance apart and call her back and forth. She is the most perfect-for-us dog we could have ever hoped for, and that is truly the reason we pushed so hard to try to keep her this past year and a half despite discovering we have strong allergies to her. **Free with home check**

Story
Think you and Tulip might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Tulip-meaning you'll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don't work out, you can always bring them back to us. If you're interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more. Are you looking for fresh flowers? Look no further than the underbite queen herself - Tulip! Tulip recently went out on a little staycation with a volunteer to learn more about her habits in a home setting. We are pleased to share that fabulous Miss Tulip did fantastic in her home! Tulip may take time to bloom, her Foster reported 4 days to feel comfy, but once she does, she is a lover (especially with face kisses, and full body cuddles) and while sensitive to loud noises was very food motivated and able to be lured away! Look at her go!Tulip also got to try her hand at loose leash walking (that's fancy speak for not pulling) and her Foster reported great improvement: "by the end of the week, especially the last few days, all of their walks were with a calm loose leash and of course lots of sniffing and exploring."She was said to be a patient co-pilot and although she wasn't the most avid adventurer she was learning. Her exploration of the loud city also got bolder and with slow introductions, lots of treats and taking it at quieter times she was improving in only her short vacation from the shelter. She was also learning to pass other dogs on the street but would still prefer to be the only dog in the home!

Story
Archie has had a tough life as a rescue. We have worked with him on some basic training, he is very food motivated. He loves to play with other dogs or people but is still skeptical of new people and requires patience and love to warm up. He would do best with a secure yard and a dog friend to romp around with would be a plus. He needs toys and play to channel his energy. He is cautious of men and needs more socialization with guests coming in to his space but he is great on walks, dog parks, etc. He is very sweet and loyal and we've seen him learn to trust over the last 8 months. He has some residual vision issues in one eye which we believe compounds his anxiety in unfamiliar settings or with new people in his space. He is good on leash. He has a lot of potential and deserves a loving home to reach it. He is crate trained for night and will come with plenty of toys, dishes, brush, nail clippers, dog bed, etc.
