Story
Here’s Hazel! Hazel was rescued from Visalia AC and treated for parvo. She recovered quickly. Hazel is sweet and spunky, best breed guess is cattle/pit. She is around 6-8 months and 30 lbs and has her adult teeth. We think she will remain a medium size dog. Hazel loves to rough house and wrestle with her dog buddies but also loves to cozy up to her human companions as well. Hazel is still working on her potty training and she is extremely treat motivated and a quick learner. If you are interested in meeting Hazel please fill out an application https://www.ozziespoundpuppies.org/index.php/applications/adoption-application/ Adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, chip, vaccines and Nexgard.

Story
(ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED) Hana is an amazing, free-spirited young dog with a heart of gold. She was born with both her back legs paralyzed, but that has not stopped her adventurous nature and passion for exploration. The best part of Hana is that spirit, which makes her a wonderful companion for people who have time to explore and adventure with her. She's also good with children, and, while she can be reactive around strange dogs, she bonds well with dogs she gets to know and loves to play and wrestle with her friends at the park. Hana, however, has some special needs and due to her paralysis, she is fecal incontinent and needs to be given opportunities to potty outside frequently. She is also a high energy dog, despite her disability, so she is happiest when she gets lots of time to run around and play outside. She can run for miles in her wheelchair and swim for hours with a proper life vest. She's also great at fetch and has reliable recall.

Learn more here DOB ~7.21 Meet Paloma, the one-of-a-kind pup who is sure to steal your heart with her stunning blue eyes and unique combination of 5 different breeds (Australian Cattle Dog, GSG and Husky to name the main ones), as shown in her DNA test results. Don't let her being deaf fool you, this girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in the neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma is a pack animal and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quieter area, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is almost 2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Check out her silly antics here! Click HERE   to learn about adoption! Story
Dog was 1 year old when adopted from SPCA. She is now about 6 yrs old. She is fairly mellow but needs her walks. She loves playing with other dogs. She is gentle but gets hyper as well. She is not good with kids, as she tries to herd them. Unsure of children within the family. Need to be wary of joggers, bikers and passerbys as you walk her. She has leash aggression and her heeling instinct kicks in and can get her into trouble. She has nipped two people, unfortunately. She is OK at dog parks. She is the older sister to Luna, who was a couple months old when they became besties.

Story
LOCATION: SANCTUARY IN WILLITS, CA Taz is a whirling dervish of happiness! He actually is not likely a Cattledog - he has a very smooth coat, floppy ears, long, skinny tail, long legs. Energy and enthusiasm to spare! Fun dog for active people, he was originally fearful of men, but has come around (we have male staff) still likely a dog who will show stranger-danger response to some new men, and perhaps women entering his space or approaching his person when on leash - for this reason he really needs a confident and experienced dog handler/caregiver/companion so he knows he is not in charge - they are. He is a delight but needs a very experienced home. A running companion, training, consistency and lots of exercise this boy will make a great addition to the right home! Tall fences are a good idea as well! Thank you for considering adoption of a Milo Foundation Sanctuary dog. Our Sanctuary is where our rescued dogs who have had difficulty in a home in the past, have behavioral issues, or too much energy, or for some, aggression issues with other dogs, or intense stranger danger that make them more difficult to safely and happily live in urban environments. These are not beginner dogs or for the most part nor are they for families with children. IF you are looking for an easy dog to add to your family, we suggest looking at the dogs at our Adoption Center, Milo Pt Richmond. BUT, if you can offer a safe and nurturing home to a dog with some behavioral "quirks" please do send an application today. Thank you.
