Story
Hi my name is Kinley, a 10yr old Australian Cattle dog mix that currently weights about 48lbs! I am a loving and affectionate senior gal looking for a home with a favorite person that I can enjoy relaxing walks with. I'm working on my social skills so I prefer to be the only dog in the household with a family that understand the needs of working type dogs like me, that is prepared to work on my manners and continue my training. Please be sure to bring in the entire household to meet with me prior to adding me to the family! For more information, just ask Customer Service about Kinley ID# A953918 I recently went for a walk with one of my PHS Volunteer friends! Here is what they had to say: Sweet old lady! Really easy to gear and great to walk. I opened the door and she was sitting there waiting for me. She's a loose leash walker and might be potty trained.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! Story
7:15 M 44 Are you looking for a dog friend for your dog? Then Koa is your man! He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playtime. He is incredibly dog social with dogs big or small. SPECIAL FOSTER or home NEEDED for a very special pup. Koa is a cattle dog mix, who is two years old. In his foster home, he is mostly confident, although he can still get spooked by sudden movements and loud noises. He loves to play constantly with other dogs. He can be too much for small dogs, but he does well with confident, developed younger dogs. Koa would do best in a country or rural area that is quiet without too much stimulation. Unfortunately, outside of the home, he is insecure. We are seeking a home or foster who is experienced in helping a very shy and anxious dog come out of his shell and has the patience and time to work with him on building his confidence. Koa has become very affectionate with his foster mom, and he has been good with all the dogs that have come through his foster home. He is crate trained and good in the house. If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
Louie is a sensitive and gentle pup who is eager to please. Lots of our friends and family tell us he's the sweetest dog they've ever met! Since we've rescued him, he has thrived into an amazing companion -- warming up to strangers and other dogs. Louie is obedient and fully trained on all basic commands. He loves car rides and will happily join you for any adventure! Louie's favorite things to do are go for an off-leash walk or hike, follow you around the house, play with balls, scavenge for food, and take naps. Louie would do best in a calm home with a patient family who can continue to provide security and safety.

Story
Rusty is 5yo and was adopted from an elderly family member that did not have the ability to give him the proper care he needed. Due to this, he was severely overweight (60lbs) when adopted, but through lots of hard work and time he is now down to a healthy 35lbs. He is a very sweet and loving boy, but due to living in a backyard with little to no contact with the outside world he is very wary and skiddish of new people, places, and things. He loves to play, has never showed any signs of aggression towards anything or anyone, but he does take time to warm up to new people and surroundings. He has received professional training, has good recall, can walk of leash well, and is fine being left alone for extended periods of time. However, he can be very vocal when he wants something (food, attention, etc), needs to go potty pretty frequently, and likes to stick to a routine. He would do best in an active home where he can get lots of exercise and love.

Story
Benji is a sweet and energetic 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who’s ready to find his forever home! This young pup has a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. While he may need a moment to warm up to new people, once he feels comfortable, he’s a total charmer—and all it takes is a handful of yummy treats to win him over!Benji is still in his puppy phase, which means he’s full of curiosity and energy. He’s eager to meet other social dogs and is learning how to play nicely and use his “doggy manners.” Though he’s still perfecting the art of settling down after playtime, his joyful spirit and affectionate nature make him an absolute delight.Benji is looking for an active family who can keep up with his playful energy and help him continue his training. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors or cuddling up for a nap after a day of fun, Benji will be a loyal companion who can’t wait to share his love with you!
