This is SENJI, a 6 mo spayed female. She was taken from a homeless encampment. We had her vetted, spayed & vaccinated. She is about 25-30 lbs. She has a foster home but they can only foster for another week. She is crate trained and they are working on housetraining. She’s with another dog and they get along well. We adopted Aspen, our Australian Shepherd, when he was a young dog, and he has been a loving part of our family ever since. He is now 9 years old, a blue merle, and about 40 lbs. Aspen is incredibly smart, loyal, and well-trained. He loves being active and thrives on routine, exercise, and one-on-one attention. Aspen does have anxiety, and over the years it has shown up as reactivity toward other dogs, so he would be happiest in a home where he can be the only dog. We aren’t sure how he is with cats. With people, Aspen is extremely gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. He has been very sweet and tolerant with our toddler, and he is consistently calm and gentle around small children. Because he’s sensitive to chaos and noise, a calm household is ideal. We are looking for a new home that can give Aspen the time, activity, and emotional support he truly deserves—ideally someone active, patient, and home often.

Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?
