Eskimo is a 6 year old spayed female Australian Shepard Mix. She is ready to bring joy and happiness into her new family's life. She is a goofy fun-loving girl that will keep you laughing until your stomach hurts. She was abandoned on the highway. She's grateful to have been saved and will let you know in each gazing look. She is great with dogs and humans. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Bear is an 11 week old, male, Australian Shepard and Cattle Dog Mixed with a little Shepard. He was rescued from a high kill shelter with his brother Panda who has already found his forever loving home. Bear is social and inquisitive. He loves to play and is a great eater and shows the ability to problem solve, for example he can find his toy in a hide and seek game. This breed is amazing with small people and is great for an active home with lots of activities and energy. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. Kobe is 7 years old. We adopted him from Pennsylvania when he was just a puppy. We are unfortunately unable to keep him due to our expanding family. He his an Australian shepherd mix and needs a good amount of exercise and attention and we sadly don’t have the time to give to him. He deserves a loving home and a family that can cater to his needs. He is very friendly and cuddly. He is good with older children. Our youngest is 2 and he tries to herd him but our oldest is 15 and Kobe has been a great companion to him for the last 7 years. we hope to find for Kobe a loving, active person who can devote time and energy to him. He loves going on hikes, to the beach or even just being cuddled up with you on the couch. He is a great dog would make any home complete.

Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?

Scout von Scheer is a stunning 3 year old Aussie Shepherd mixed with German Shepherd - we are guessing. Scout is a bit of a shy girl at the rescue who takes a moment to warm up but, with some kind attention, she just shines. She is the most unique-looking dog – her bi-colored eyes, freckled nose and fluffy white coat give her “supermodel” looks. She is likely housebroken and walks well on the leash. She meets dogs well if they come up to say “Hello,” but she isn’t generally interested in making the first move. Scout enjoys your affection and will warm up quickly with a few ear scratches and back rubs. She’ll thank you for treats by taking them gently from your hand and giving you a few kisses in return! In the play yard, she prefers the calmer dogs and generally seems to enjoy being with people. Scout von Scheer is in a foster home, offsite, and is NOT at our rescue location in Los Angeles. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.

She’s not food aggressive, gentle when getting food out of your hands… now she knows how to sit, lay… stay not so much but getting there… she doesn’t bark, doesn’t like the crate for more than 20 mins… great with the pups… very good mom to her 10 puppies. Roxy needs to stay with her babies until they are 8 weeks old so she is currently available for pre adoption!
