Story
Ghirardelli COH is a 2 year old neutered male Australian Shepard Mix with a sweet and loving nature. He was surrendered because his owner is leaving for the military and wanted him to have a great home. Ghirardelli loves going for walks and is great with kids and dogs. He's looking for a family that will give him the love and adventure he deserves! We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. Please note a Petfinder and Adoptapet Inquiry is not applying for the dog. You have to come to the event or send an email inquiry to our records email.

Story
Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Gucci❤️ 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Adogs got an emergency call from “Happy Dogs Home” for an urgent rescue. An elderly owner who had beencaring for many dogs alone had to be hospitalized for hospice care, so the dogs were suddenly left without a caretaker. It had rained the day before, so Adogs was worried about their health. The director of Adogs personally went to Yongin and rescued Gucci, who had just given birth, along with her puppies. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Tends to be shy and avoids and hides from peopleIs when nervous. Feels some discomfort but is in the process of opening up to people when petted slowly. Accepts being touched once she gets used to it. You should wait for her to build up trust. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even new ones. Will even approach first and play with canine friends she likes. Has no issues with living with other dogs. * With Cats: Doesn’t really react when she sees cats on walks. Does not show any agression to them. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed since she lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Is scared of being touched at first and may try to run away. However, once she calms down, she’s okay with brushing and nail trimming. It's also possible to take a bath or dry while soothed. * Walk: Is timid and doesn't walk ahead. Rather tends to follow from behind without pulling the leash. Doesn’t get excited when she sees other animals like dogs, cats, or birds. Sometimes tries to bolt to get away from people during walks, so using a double leash is a must! * Likes: Likes other dog friends and enjoys spending time with them. * Dislikes: Is scared when people make sudden or large movements.

Story
Hi there! My name’s Koa, and I’m one happy boy! I wake up every day ready to play, explore, and meet new friends—because honestly, I’ve never met a person or dog I didn’t like. I’ve got a big smile and a wagging tail that never quits. My favorite things in the whole world are going on walks, feeling the breeze in my fur, and running along the beach with my paws in the sand. I’m full of energy, love, and sunshine, and I can’t wait to share it all with a family who’s ready for adventure (and maybe a few sandy paw prints too!). If you are interested in meeting Koa, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Koa is 6 months old and weighs 35 lbs.] (2510)
