I am 6 months old and I weigh 33 lbs. I am a Beagle/Hound mix, and so very handsome. I am a great pup! I love to be around my favorite people, and I get along great with other dogs, too! I am also very smart, and have already learned how to sit and shake! I am currently being potty trained, and getting the hang of it more and more each day!Prior to adoption, I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped. Daisy Mae is a very energetic girl. She loves playing with other dogs and kids and loves running like crazy. She is adorably cute and she also loves sleeping in the bed at night and cuddling. She also loves balls and hard toys. Soft toys she destroys immediately. She is trained to go outside potty, but can also use a doggie door. She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on everything. Daisy would be best suited for either an older couple or a family with kids a little older and if there was another dog for her to play with. She needs a lot of attention or she gets bored and looks for trouble when left alone. We have tried to meet her needs, but we are not home all the time and she has become destructive to the room we put her in when we leave the house. We currently work out of town 2 days a week and I don't want to have to confine her to a crate during that time, but I am going to have to. She would also benefit from a fenced in yard, which we don't have.

Hi! My name is Samaya and I am from Kentucky. From the foster: Samaya is a real sweatheart and the cutest puppy ever. She has a friendly and enthusiastic personality and loves to meet new people and other dogs. Please remember she is a puppy and likes to chew and nip as she's teething as well as jump and get the zoomies but is learning more everyday. For this reason I don't recommend small children for her. When she's mellow, she's really mellow and so cuddly and sweet. She's doing well with leash walking and has no problem riding in a car. She would do best with someone who understands puppies needs and/or is willing to take a Puppy training class. She rarely barks except at brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners and if she's unhappy in her crate. We've been working on crate training and she's liking her crate more and more but does get a bit anxious if left alone in the crate so will need someone who can work with her on this. House training is going well and she understands "go potty" but still has a little way to go. With a good schedule she should do fine.

I am Mattie Mae. I am from Arkansas. From the Foster: She has really come out of her shell these past few days. She's found her bark-mainly when she wants to get out of her crate and sometimes when she's playing with Lucy. She has the tiniest little woof when she's watching people outside. While she is doing just fine on a tie out, she would really thrive in a home with a fenced in yard because she loves to be outside (although left to her own devices, she may be a little mischievous.) Her potty training is on its way, she's doing good on 'sit' (stay and down are a work in progress.) She has figured out she does like treats. She's eating a full cup, twice a day. She will watch tv occasionally (not even if it's animals-she watched football for a bit) and she likes to watch my husband's phone as well when he's playing a game or watching something. She is a persistent chewer, so kong-type toys are the only survivors (sorry Lucy,) but Mattie does love squishy and plushy dog toys-even if they only last 10 minutes, lol.

I am Niah. I am from Arkansas. From the Foster: Niah is a very friendly and playful dog who also loves to cuddle up with you. She has some puppy energy and does best when she gets exercise regularly. She gets along well with other dogs, but her puppy brain doesn't always lead her to maintain respectful boundaries with other dogs, who may not be interested in playing with her. She's potty trained and seems to whine a bit if she needs to go outside. She rides fine in the car but needs some encouragement getting in the car. She did well on a recent trip to a pet store and did great with other dogs and people. I am working with her to prevent her jumping up on people. She might not do well with young children because she would probably knock them down quite often until she is completely trained. She had quite a bit of anxiety the first time she was put in a crate, but has been better since then. However, she has spent very little time in a crate. She sleeps on a dog bed beside my bed at night. She sleeps through the night. She has not been exposed to cats while in my care.

I am Meadow. I am from Arkansas. From the foster: Hi and thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me. My name is Meadow and I came to SHH/BB with my 4 siblings. My foster mom says I am very sweet and very cute with all my freckles. I love finally being in a home so much that even though I am still technically a puppy, I am a very good girl. I walk well on a leash and I am not reactive to other dogs. I am doing great on my potty training and crate training. I am a fairly mellow pup. I haven't chewed on anything other than my toys. I like to play with my foster sister but I am also content just to hang out when my foster mom is busy. If you think I could possibly be the pup for you, I would love to meet you and show you what a good young dog I am.
