Story

Roxy is a 3 year old beagle-sized lab who is looking for someone to give her the solitary home she needs. She is currently in a home with other reactive dogs to the detriment of all parties - her health is deteriorating, and she deserves a chance at a happy life. She is a smart dog, house and kennel trained. She enjoys hanging out with you at home and isn't super high energy. She likes walks but is reactive on a leash toward other dogs, mostly in fear. Roxy has grown up in a home with kids, but has displayed aggression (lunging and barking) at strangers, so I'd recommend a home without kids. She does have one bite on record that I know about towards someone walking past her in an apartment, unprovoked. She needs someone with aggression experience or willing to keep her away from strangers. She really is a sweet dog who would likely flourish being an only dog with an understanding owner. We do have her history and vet records.

Meet Sammie Lou! This adorable senior girl was surrendered to us after her owner passed away. She’s a 10 year old beagle/basset hound mix and she weighs about 48 pounds. She’s SUCH a sweetheart and she’s good with all people and other dogs. Meet Tom! He’s a 9 year old little tan beagle mix weighing about 35 pounds. He’s smaller than he looks in pictures! He’s super affectionate and sweet, and he loves kids. He’s fantastic with other dogs and loves to cuddle cats, too. Tom came to us because his owner became sick and unable to care for him. Tom is house trained and has good manners. Hi, my name is Juniper and I am predicted to be 1-2 years old. My pictures make me look like a big dog but I am actually quite small (the perfect size my foster mom thinks). I like to snuggle but I also like my own space. I love toys, especially the squeaky ones! I get along with other dogs of all ages. I came from a difficult situation, so I am learning to feel safe and to trust. But I am getting there! I can’t wait to meet my forever family; I know that you will instantly fall in love with me. Juniper is estimated to be 2 years old and 26 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Auden is a mellow, cautious but also very curious puppy. He likes to take things easy, check them out as his own pace and likes to be adventurous a little more slowly than his bigger siblings. Auden is one of the smaller pups of my group of 4, but don’t let that fool you, he’s got big snuggling skills! He loves his stuffed animal to chew on and he’s always looking for a buddy to hang out with! Chew toys? Bones? If you got them, I’ll chew them! Auden loves the teenagers in the house along with the adults he’s met too and even the giant resident dog! This playful boy likes his belly rubbed too! Come meet him today!
