Story
This is Kairo. He is 3 years old and loves to play fetch! He loves hugs and love pets. Unfortunately I have to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him due to moving and I won’t be able to bring him with me. I have already reached out to friends and family and no one can take him….I am heartbroken because he is so loving and so smart and loyal. He loves the park and playing with squeaky toys. He’s great with kids and would love to be part of a family. He enjoys pup cups and anything savory. His favorite time of the day is when he gets to go on a walk to the park to play fetch. He’s very calm in the house and doesn’t bark. He can loves to play with people but will enjoy playing with a ball or squeaky toy by himself. He’s very loving and always wants to gives people hugs and a few kisses. I’m looking for a permanent home for him with loving, caring, and patient owners who will give him all the love and attention he needs.

Story
Hello! My name is Dennis and I'm a neutered, 8-month-old, Border Collie mix that will grow to be around 50lbs as an adult. My name may be Dennis but I promise I'm not a menace! I'm everything you would expect of a puppy; affectionate, playful, curious, energetic and eager to learn! I'm hoping for a family that's prepared to continue my training and give me tons of love and exercise! Once I've had a chance to get all my wiggles out, I'm very cuddly and enjoy getting belly rubs from all of my PHS friends. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Dennis ID# A959984  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hello everyone, I'm Phyllis! I'm a 3-month-old, spayed female, Border Collie/Shepherd mix, with the cutest perked ears. I'm a growing pup and my estimated adult weight 55-65 lbs. I'm super sweet and love getting attention from people. As a double working breed mix, you can bet I'm a high energy, vocal pup who can't wait to make new friends and learn about the world! I would thrive most with a family with dog savvy kids that is familiar with Herding breeds and is prepared to continue working on training and socialization. I am active young gal and will need lots and lots of exercise, mental stimulation, and of course, love! If you are looking to add some fluff into your life, just ask Customer Service about these puppies! Story
Hello all! My name is January; I'm a spayed, 1 year old, Border Collie/Terrier mix, who weighs about 45lbs. My friends here at PHS say I'm the absolute sweetest girl in the world! I may start off a bit shy, but that's only because I haven't had a chance to explore the world yet. Once I'm a bit more comfortable with you, I really enjoy scratches behind the ears and tasty treats. I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to show me the world and broaden my horizons! I'm so excited to learn new things but will look to you for reassurance. I'm sensitive to loud noises and I prefer calm settings. I promise I'm worth it! I can't wait to meet you! Story
Sterling is a PERFECT SIZE 31 pound young (1.5-2 year old) female border collie mix. She has healed beautifully from a broken leg after being hit by a car. She is housebroken and crate trained. She can be shy at first but warms up well to both adults and older children. She gets along well with other dogs and is ok with her foster cat. She may benefit from living with another dog for leash walking confidence. She gets nervous in the car but doubt she has been acclimated to car travel. She is VERY sweet and ready to learn anything new!
