About the dog: Basil is well socialized and had consistent and extensive training using positive reinforcement and clicker training growing up. He has great house manner, super smart, potty trained, crate trained, loves agility, walk on leash nicely and can be offleashed. He enjoys hiking, city walk or just hanging out on the couch. His problems: He was resource guarding around food since day one. We were able to train it out of him(toward people) when he's around 6 months old, but he still guards against other dogs. He's very affectionate, and very friendly to strangers, but only when he initiates it, and does not like being hugged. He's super nice and sweet 95% of the time, and gets comments such as 'well behaved, friendly & sweet' all the time on the street. Although rare, when stressed, he can show aggression without warning. He does have bite history, and has bitten 3 people so far (no stitches needed).

Tonto's been a very good dog. I am a truck driver and I am unable to take care of Tonto. Tonto was my girlfriend's dog before she ended up. Just leaving the state. And I'm trying to find a good home for Tonto to go to. He is very quiet. He doesn't really bark. He loves walks and belly rubs and just overall attention. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give him the intention he rightfully deserves. And I hope that there is a good family out there that can show this dog the love and home he deserves.
