Story

Clover is a 1.5yr old Border Collie mix with boundless energy and the biggest doggie brain ever. She knows all her basic commands (sit, down, etc.) and also knows "puppy bed time" for when she needs to go to her crate and "puppy place" when she needs to go to her place bed. While she knows these commands she does still have issues with staying still and listening but that's something we think her new family would definitely be able to help her with. We don't want to have to rehome Clover but she simply deserves a family that can provide her with the physical and mental stimulation she deserves. Clover needs someone who can dedicate a good chunk of the day to keeping her active and appropriately stimulated. She also does very well at doggie daycare so she could also attend one with her new family and do well. Preferably she would go to a home that does not have cats as her herding instincts are strong and hard for her to ignore. We hope you love Clover as much as we do!

Logan is a five and half years old border collie mix, neutered, with beautiful tri-color soft coat. He is highly intelligent, affectionate, obedient, athletic and a bit goofy. He has amazing agility and can easily catch flying frisbee 50 yards away, he runs like those border collies in agility championship games you see on TV. If you are looking for a lap dog, he might not be the right fit, but he will be your buddy, your sidekick. He is a herding breed dog and requires at least 45 minutes walking everyday. It would mean the world to him if you take him out for some running, fetching or hiking on weekends. We are rehoming Logan because we will have to move into a small apartment soon and also start working long hours. This is a very hard decision for us, but we want him to be able to have a backyard and not being left home alone all day.

Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable. Before coming here, I had quite the journey. I arrived with eight puppies and was severely malnourished, having clearly put everything she had into caring for her babies.
