Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Enzo! Enzo is a 5-year-old, 30 lb Border Collie/McNab mix who came to us from an overcrowded CA shelter. He’s incredibly sweet, loving, and as smart as they come! Enzo has been shining in foster care! He is crate trained, house trained, and with some patience and guidance from his wonderful fosters ~ he has learned to love cats! He’s also great with other dogs and loves his people. Enzo is active, playful, and still full of that classic herding dog spunk. Fetch is one of his all-time favorite activities. He knows several commands: sit, down, shake, roll over, and spin and is eager to keep learning! This boy doesn’t just want physical exercise; he needs mental work. Puzzle toys, training sessions, trick work, nose games — he thrives when you give his brain something to do. Because of this, we are specifically looking for an adopter with herding breed experience who understands what dogs like Enzo need to feel fulfilled. He’ll do best in a home prepared to keep his mind and body busy, give him structure, and help channel his intelligence in a positive way. Enzo would love a home with a yard and an active routine — hikes, adventures, outings, and plenty of enrichment. Once his needs are met, he is affectionate, loyal, and a wonderful companion who bonds deeply with his people. If you’re searching for a brilliant, devoted, fun adventure buddy — and you understand herding breeds — Enzo is ready to be your guy! Enzo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Fenton is an approximately 5-year-old, Border Collie/McNab mix weighing about 47 pounds (and still filling out after coming to us a bit skinny). He came from an overcrowded CA shelter and is recovering from a leg injury that has been healing well. This handsome boy is as sweet as they come—gentle, patient, and absolutely adores people. He’s done well with children he’s met and loves saying hello to everyone (he even enjoyed meeting all the trick-or-treaters on Halloween!). Fenton is house-trained, walks well on leash, and is a total fetch fanatic. He loves toys, hikes, and all kinds of adventures, but also knows how to relax and enjoy a good cuddle or nap once playtime’s over. Fenton gets along well with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion—preferably one who can help set healthy boundaries, since he can be a bit pushy at times. He would do best in a home without cats. We’re looking for a home with herding breed experience that can keep his mind and body active, continue helping him finish his recovery, and give him the full, happy life he deserves. He is definitely a dog that loves having something to do! If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and affectionate dog who’s ready for all of life’s adventures, Fenton might just be your perfect match! Fenton is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
Forever Home Needed 🐾 Tikka is a ~7-month-old, 40 lb Border Collie mix looking for her true forever family. She was adopted from us in January but, through no fault of her own, she is back with us due to unexpected personal and living situation changes in her adopted home. Now she’s ready for the right family who will love her for life! Tikka is a smart, loving, and fun puppy who thrives on routine. In true Border Collie fashion, she’s quick to learn and very in tune with her people. She even gets a little sassy if dinner or her post-meal playtime is delayed (she likes to keep everyone on schedule! 😄). She has done well living with another dog and loves having a playful dog companion. She can be a bit excited with cats at first, but with time and proper introductions she has learned to coexist well with them. In her adopted home, Tikka lived with a 7 year old child and did amazing! Tikka is still a puppy and very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. She prefers to eat her meals without other pets crowding her bowl, but she has shown no issues with people handling her food while she eats. With her energy, intelligence, and playful personality, Tikka would thrive in an active home that enjoys adventures and including their dog in daily life. Hikes, walks, playtime, and continued training will help her grow into an incredible companion. A home with another playful dog is a must! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, and affectionate adventure buddy, Tikka might just be your perfect match. ✨ Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply on our website!

Story
Requires: -Herding breed experienced home -Large fenced yard outside the city -Another playful dog in the home her size or larger Keira is a 2 year old, 50lb Border Collie who is looking for her perfect home. She takes a while to trust, but is loyal to her people once she does. Keira is fearful of people and does not easily trust. She can be skittish and is a flight risk if not contained properly. She will build trust with her people after a period of time spent together and trust building, but she is not a ‘people’ dog with new people. She is definitely a dog's dog. She prefers to be with her dog friends and spends her days out in a play yard with 5-7 other dogs. Keira will need a home that understands and is ok with the fact she is not a super lovey dog that will want human attention all the time. Keira will do best in an adult only home that is patient in building her trust and ok with her being aloof and doing her own thing at times. She is well mannered and does great hanging out in a fenced yard with her dog friends. She is super active and loves to run around in her current large play yard with other dogs. Keira will thrive in a home with a large fenced yard outside of the city. She is not an apartment/condo/townhome dog. Keira requires at least one other dog around her size in the home, and herding breed experience. She would thrive in a more rural setting with a large fenced yard. Keira is UTD on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ninja! Ninja is a 1-year-old, 76 lb Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. This magnificent, fluffy boy is as striking as he is sweet ~ and yes, he’s often walking around with his tongue sticking out, adding to his goofy charm! Ninja is playful, bouncy, and full of big-dog energy. He’s treat-motivated and eager to engage, but he is still very much a large, adolescent pup who needs continued work on basic obedience and manners. He can be jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he will need a confident, experienced handler who understands large breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and training. Because of his size, strength, and activity level, Ninja will do best with someone who has large-breed experience and can comfortably handle a strong dog. He would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard — ideally in a more rural setting outside the city, as that’s what he’s used to. He would love to go hiking, explore, and have space to roam and stretch those long legs. That said, he also has a chill side and enjoys hanging out with his people once he’s had proper exercise. Ninja can be dog selective and does show some reactivity, so continued socialization work will be important. He would do best either as an only dog or in a home with a female dog of similar size. He would do best in a home without cats. Underneath all that size and fluff is a total sweetheart and a bit of a lovable dope ~ affectionate, silly, and deeply loyal. He’s a lot of dog, but for the right home, he’s going to be an absolutely incredible companion. If you’re looking for a stunning, big-hearted adventure partner and have the experience to help guide him, Ninja may be your perfect match! Ninja is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Chad! Chad is a 4-year-old, 46 lb Border Collie/Aussie mix who is eager to find his forever home. Chad is a beautiful, energetic pup looking for an active, experienced adopter who can keep up with his playful spirit! This smart, eager-to-learn boy has a ton of potential but will need some work on his manners to become the well-rounded companion he’s meant to be. Chad’s ideal home will be one that can provide lots of exercise and mental stimulation. He’s a herding breed mix, so he thrives with tasks and activities that keep him engaged. Herding breed experience is a must. Whether it’s running, playing fetch, or learning new tricks, Chad is ready to get moving! Chad is generally friendly with other dogs, but he can be a bit dominant, especially around male dogs, so he’d do best in a home with female dogs or as the only dog. He’s great with his person, always loving and loyal, but he would do better in a household with no young children. If you're looking for a fun, smart companion to share your life with, Chad might just be your perfect match! Chad is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

WOOF! I'M SPARTA! I'm a sweet and active 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Aussie/Greyhound mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter along with my sisters, who now have been adopted. So now it's time for me to get noticed! I am a relatively small girl - about 40-45 pounds - and would do well in a and active and quiet home with people who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have done well around other dogs though would do great as an only dog, too. I'm currently in California but can be transported to North Dakota. Please email for an application.

MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. He's currently in Southern California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.
