Story
Animal Information:  Meet Cobbler! He and his 3 siblings are 12 weeks old Border Collie mixes (best guess) and will be joining us from California along with their mom Brownie on 06/11/2026. Foster Profile:  Cobbler is a 3-month-old Border Collie mix with a gentle heart. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his sweet nature to shine through. He's looking for a patient family who can help him build confidence and continue discovering that the world isn't such a scary place. When Cobbler feels nervous, he'll often seek comfort by tucking himself between your legs or finding a cozy corner where he feels safe. With a little encouragement, he warms up and shows just how lovable he is. For such a young puppy, Cobbler is incredibly smart and learns quickly. He’s already doing well on leash and happily walks by your side. He has a great recall for his age and enjoys playing chase with respectful children. As a typical growing pup, he’s currently teething and picks up anything he finds. Cobbler loves spending time outdoors, especially relaxing in a shady spot on warm days. He's currently working on house training and learning basic commands. He's making great progress and is eager to keep learning! Cobbler would thrive with someone who understands that confidence grows with patience and positive experiences. If you're looking for a sweet, clever companion and are excited to help a young puppy blossom, Cobbler might just be your perfect match. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA. They will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 06/11/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. June 22, 2026, 11:10 pm

Story
Animal Information:  Meet Brownie! She is a 2 year old, 29 lb female Border Collie mix (best guess) who joined us from California, along with her 3 12-week-old puppies on 06/11/2026. When our rescue partner reached out to us about the puppies, we couldn't leave mom behind.  Foster Profile: Brownie is a special gem of a girl, looking for that special gem of a family. Brownie is an incredible pup! She has stolen our hearts-- she's smart, wants to please and is great with our resident dogs. She is Such a love bug! She's potty trained and crate trained though we are working on her "feelings" about being crated and she's coming along-- no apartments considered for this reason. She couldn't be more affectionate-- regularly sitting to ask for pets and climbing into our laps to be a little lap dog. She does need to build her confidence as she is still a little skittish on walks (we can tie you pointers/advice on how to be her best  leader ).Shes a terrific jogging companion and is looking for an active family . Anyone who adopts sweet Brownie is seriously lucky! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Sven is a 2-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix weighing in at a handsome 53 pounds. He has the perfect combination of sweet and playful—calm and gentle around the house, but always ready for fun when it's time to play. Sven is the kind of dog who wins hearts wherever he goes. He's incredibly gentle, wonderful with kids, and has a loving personality that makes him an easy companion. He gets along well with cats too, although he may occasionally try to convince them to play like they're fellow dogs! His favorite toy is his yellow ducky pull toy, and if you're looking for the quickest way to become his best friend, give him scratches on his lower tummy or thighs. He'll happily melt into a puddle of appreciation. Sven came from a farm, and while he doesn't necessarily need acreage, he would thrive in a home with people to shower him with attention and affection. More than anything, Sven wants to be part of the family and included in all of life's adventures. If you're looking for an amazing, gentle, goofy best friend who is equal parts cuddle bug and playmate, Sven may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  June 22, 2026, 11:10 pm
