Hi, my name is Tygo and I am from Missouri! Tygo is the biggest sweetheart around! He sleeps all night in the kennel and loves to snuggle. He was found as a solo stray in Missouri and no one claimed him. He is great with other dogs, especially large dogs, though if you're a squirrel or a rabbit you better run! He is also really great with children of all ages. He is being treated for whipworm and needs 2 more doses, once per month. He previously had a growth on his right rib, but it has resolved on its own. From the foster: Tygo may benefit from a fenced yard. He has a strong prey drive and just cannot help himself if he sees a squirrel.

Hi, my name is Buster and I am from Georgia! Buster is an independent, playful boy who loves exploring the world around him. With his soft dark fur and soulful expression, he looks a bit like a well loved stuffed animal come to life. Buster is happiest when he’s playing with toys, roughhousing, investigating new things, or curled up for a nap after his puppy adventures. He especially loves running around in the grass with his brothers and happily chases after stuffies when they’re tossed for him. Food is absolutely the way to his heart, and he responds very well to kibble rewards, especially when practicing “sit.” Buster is a curious, energetic puppy who is always looking for something interesting to do. He’s learning everyday puppy skills like stairs, leash walking, puppy pads, and adjusting to outdoor sounds and experiences. While he can still be hesitant with stairs at times, he continues making progress with encouragement and patience.

Hi, my name is Baron and I am from Georgia! Baron is a goofy, toy loving boy with personality and an big love for playtime. He especially loves stuffies! He spends his days bouncing, frolicking, and diving after toys while chasing and wrestling his brothers in the grass. He’s playful and energetic with an adorable calm, affectionate side. Baron often runs over for a few pets before jumping back into play. If you sit on the floor, he happily climbs into your lap for cuddles or a nap, sometimes encouraging a full puppy pile up with his siblings. He’s learning basic manners and commands quickly, including “sit,” leash walking, puppy pads, and pausing rough play if another puppy yelps. He’s made great progress with stairs and everyday outdoor sounds like construction and ambulances. He’s a little cautious for his nighttime potty trip, seeking gentle reassurance. Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. He was rescued from a home up North that was basically keeping him outside. But his new owner resident dog is not accepting him. Louie is friendly, happy, a sweet little guy that has lived with other dogs, cats and kids under 5 years old even. We were told his mother may have been a Bulldog/Boxer mix? And dad may have been a pitbull bulldog mix? Mother is more certain. He is on the road to being housetrained but still in the process of nailing it.
