Story
Meet Bunny Bunny is the sweetest, most playful pup you’ll ever meet—a little adventurer with a heart full of joy. She loves hopping around the backyard on daily expeditions with her sister and her three foster siblings—making every day feel like a brand-new adventure. When Bunny hits her playtime limit, she turns into the ultimate snuggle bug, seeking out a warm lap or the coziest spot she can find for a long, well-earned nap. With her adorable pink belly and precious polka-dot nose, she wins hearts everywhere she goes. Though Bunny is still perfecting her potty-training skills, she picked up “sit” in just minutes—showing everyone just how smart she really is. Full of energy, charm, and cuddles, Bunny is a bundle of sweetness wrapped in one irresistible pup. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Bennie may be small, but don’t let her size fool you—this tiny pup is absolutely mighty and still has a lot of time to grow. A little sweetheart through and through, she fills every room with charm and cuddles. Bennie loves nothing more than curling up for long naps with her mom, batting around her favorite toys, and faithfully following her favorite people wherever they go. Each morning, Bennie starts her day with a very important “morning meeting” with her sister, usually followed by a competitive round of tug-of-war. She’s a quick learner—she mastered “sit” in minutes!—though potty training is still a work in progress (and she’s doing her best). With her brave spirit, soft snuggles, and endlessly sweet personality, Bennie is the perfect mix of tiny and mighty All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Hi, my name is Jackie. I am from Georgia. Meet Jackie - a wonderfully clumsy, moderate-energy young pup with bulldog snores and boxer antics (because of course she’s literally made of those two breeds). She’ll do a few joyful zoomie laps around the house and then immediately take a dramatic nap like she just ran a 5k. Jackie is fully potty-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her own bed. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and absolutely loves balls. She can be a little squirmy and unsure at first, but once she warms up, she melts right into you like butter in a hot pan. She may benefit from having a confident dog sibling to learn from, but it’s not required—she can thrive solo, too. Because she’s sensitive to sudden movement and startle responses, Jackie would do best in a home with older kids only. She’ll really blossom with gentle reassurance, structure, and routine. She may only be working with about two brain cells on a good day- but they’re the sweetest, most affectionate two brain cells you’ll ever meet. ❤️ Are you ready to give this snuggly little goofball her forever home?

Story
I need a temp foster from 12/17 - 12/21. (I am also available for adoption!) Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help! Hi, my name is Raven and I am from Arkansas! I am the sweetest girl ever. I am calm, gentle, and so so sweet. I LOVE to nap and cuddle up with my humans and go for strolls (I LOVE squirrels). I am very curious about other humans and puppers and love to say hi. I am a bit nervous about new things at first, but I just need some encouragement. My current humans leave me out when they are gone, and I LOVE to nap on the couch and play a little, and I don't make a mess. I do have some anxiety in a crate but am very relaxed and trustworthy when I have so much love to give, and hope it can be to you! P.S. I will give you ALLLLL of the kisses EVER!!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hobbies: Sunbathing, snacking, and surprising everyone with her newfound zest for life.   Cammy is in her  “retired but thriving”  era — the Golden Girl of the group who’s discovered that naps are great, but playtime with friends might be even better!   Once a quiet observer, Cammy has blossomed into a social butterfly (well… maybe more of a cozy golden bumblebee ). She now happily snuggles up with her 14 dog friends and joins in on the fun when the mood strikes — from gentle wrestling matches to wiggly tail wags that could melt your heart.   She still appreciates a soft bed, a warm patch of sunlight, and a steady supply of snacks, but she’s also learned that life’s even better when you share it with your pack.   Cammy’s the total package — mellow, loving, and delightfully playful in her golden years. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance best friend who can keep you company for naps  and  bring a little joy to your day, Cammy’s your girl.    Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
