Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

Story
From the Foster: Ajax is a gentle, sweet guy approaching 9 years old. He requires moderate levels of daily exercise and has pep in his step! His favorite activity is fetching his rubber ball in the yard. He is a solid guy that might pull a little on walks to sniff something special so the handler must be strong enough to redirect him. Ajax is indifferent to other dogs, he will walk past them with barely a look. In our home, he is very respectful of our grumpy 11 year old small dog and they basically ignore each other. Ajax has recently begun a veterinary prescribed weight loss plan with the goal of losing 13 pounds to get him to his ideal 53 pound size. This will require a potential adopter to feed twice daily at the prescribed quantities and limit treats during the day. He has been doing great on this plan and enjoys hugs and "good boy" pets rather than treats anyway! He is very much motivated by food and will lay in the kitchen watching intently while the humans are preparing food however, he does not beg or try to jump up. Ajax will thrive best in a home where the humans are home most of the day. He would be a great companion to empty nesters, retired and work from home parents that enjoy multiple daily walks to keep him stimulated. He is a quiet dog and only barks as appropriate to alert us to a delivery van, someone at the door, unusual noises, thunder/lightning. He follows us around the home often throughout the day and has displayed a little anxiety/panic whining when he is left alone for short periods but hoping this improves once he's been here longer and more comfortable in his new environment. He has a few old guy "lumps and bumps" on his belly but all have been tested and nothing of concern. Ajax is taking a daily joint supplement Dasuquin for joint health as he ages. This supplement can be purchased at pet stores and over the counter. Ajax is not tested with Cats and it is unknown if he is crate trained. He is a champ at going to bed and sleeps quietly on his orthopedic bed for a solid 8 hours until his humans get up.

Story
Hi! I'm Red. I'm from Missouri. From his foster: Hi! I'm Red. I'm from Missouri. My people call me Ol' Red or Shredder. I have gotten pretty comfy in my foster home pretty fast- its been about two weeks. Before this I was in another foster home for about a month that I also liked but they had to get some work done on their home so I found a new spot. You can see what they had to say about me at the bottom! So far in my new home I have gotten to know a cat- she doesnt really like me or want me around but she mostly lets me live. After a few kinna scary boops I have learned to give her her space (once I just turned around into the corner to hide.. shes small but feisty O_O) . Most days I: wait patiently (and silently!) for my foster mom to get up. Then we go for a little spin around the block so I can sniff everything, pee in many places, etc. When we come in from outside I am learning to wait for my ma to take my harness off. I usually go right into working on one of my toys or wait for food in my snufflemat. My nickname is Shredder because I LOVE to shred a toy, find all the squeakers and remove all the stuffing. It is my main hobby. I have never tried to shred something that wasnt mine tho! After playing with toys I like to lay on the couch and snore for hours or snuggle next to the nearest human. I am surprisingly good at going back to my own work when people have food around me- I seem to know the word No in a stern voice. I might know my name too, but we're not certain yet. Eventually we go on more short strolls, 20 mins is kind of my max. Then I repeat the mornings activities. I take an omega supplement right now because people have said my back legs seem a little arthritic, but I seem to be doing well right now. I don't mind eating my pill twice a day with some accompanying treats. When my foster mom is at work, out of the house, or doing things where she can't watch me, I go in my crate. I dont like to go in on my own, but when she tosses some treats in it I do. And then I'm pretty much just silent and chilling till it's time to go out again. Right now I always go outside when I come out of my crate, especially cause I love marking around town. However, I've only had two smoll accidents in the house since getting here- one peeing on the literal human toilet (so close) and the other on my first day while getting the lay of the land I found the thing the cat loves to rub her face on so, obviously. I love being in the presence of my person, sitting next to (or on) them on the couch, following them from room to room etc. On walks I love to meet new people and dogs, so I can sometimes put the brakes on if I don't get to (which is most of the time). I am particularly interested in people working and in cars. I am getting faster at moving along when told to. I love pets and scratches, and although I have some signs of wear (lol) I am only particular about touch when it comes to my rear feet/toes. Overall, I'm a sweet easy going guy who just wants someone to love and hangout with, perhaps a sibling??, toys to shred, and some strolls. From his current foster: I could have easily foster failed Red already because he is lovable, sweet, easy going, and silly. I do think however that he would love a home with less stairs as he ages (he does great on them right now, but ours are tall steep and uncarpeted :/) and I think he would love another similar age/activity level dog to live, play and relax with. From his previous foster: Red is a super sweet and affectionate boxer bulldog mix. He is good with people and other dogs, but we are not sure about cats. Red is very quiet and so far hasn't reacted when people have come inside the home. He doesn't need much exercise; a few 5 - 10 minute walks per day, or a few times outside each day in a fenced yard are enough. For these reasons, he would probably do well in any type of home environment. He is very friendly and insistent on approaching people and other dogs on walks, so we are working on his leash manners. Red is very treat motivated, so he will need to continue his training with treats on hand. Red is crate trained, potty trained, and he loves going on car rides. Red can be a little stubborn on walks when a person or another dog catches his attention. He also tires quickly on his walks, especially when it is warm outside

Story
If you're looking for the most adorable deaf gal, turtle is your gal! Hi guys my name is Turtle. I am from Texas. I know crazy name but my foster momma says my name should have been bunny or cat as I love to pounce and hop as I am playing. I am a young gal who is eager to learn to please but even more eager to cuddle. I LOVE cuddling and giving kisses once I feel comfortable with the human. I am crate trained but was used to having my siblings in the same kennel, now that I'm alone in the kennel I don't like it. So my foster momma is working on getting me to understand the kennel is a safe spot for me to be. I do have separation anxiety and do not like to be alone ever, so I'd LOVE a family who has people around often so I can have company. I'm working on potty training but haven't had many accidents and once I know where the door to outside is I will go to that door and cry when I need to potty usually. I sleep through the night without needing to go outside. I enjoy going for walks as we call them and am WONDERFUL on my leash. I do bark when I play and highly enjoy stealing toys from my siblings, but will also be respectful and share even when I don't wanna! Speaking of playing I'm trying to loose my baby teefs so my favorite toys are benebones! I am looking for a family who has a fenced in yard or will keep me on a leash when outside although my foster mama says I'm wonderful off leash too and will just follow along side her so I feel safe! Birds and other critters are cool but I don't really feel the need to chase at them I just like wactching from a distance! From her foster: She is deaf so will need a loving family who is willing to teach her hand commands for training. If you don't know ASL already you will need to learn some signs (I have a video I can send of some of the signs she has been learning). ASL tricks she's learning are shh or quiet, come, sit, food, i need to work- I sign "lady work. She is so wonderful with cats, kids, adults, literally just anything and everything she wants to love and show affection to everything she meets. She really is just the sweetest most "wanting to please kind of girl

I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org to sign up to foster! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! I'm Rocky! I'm from Arkansas. From the Foster: Woof woof! I'm Rocky, and I'm just the bestest boy ever! I can't get enough of the great outdoors-long walks are my jam! And hey, I do love surprise cuddles when I'm not busy exploring. If you're active and love dogs, we'd make the perfect team! I'm a bundle of Boxer energy, and my toys and balls are my favorites. I'm currently at doggy daycare, where I'm earning A+ grades for being the best boy around! I love strutting through the neighborhood or just chillin' in the grass all day long. I'm a walking superstar, and I promise to leave your shoes alone-my chew toys are the only things that get my attention! Potty training? No problem! I'll patiently wait by the door when I need to go outside. I'm not the biggest fan of my kennel, but I'm sure a trainer can help me get comfy if needed. Bring me home, and let's have endless fun and snuggles together!

Story
I give you my very best “awoooo” as a hello! My name is Janet, and I was probably named after Ms. Jackson since we’re both such fabulous ladies. My siblings and I were strays down south before we were found by some lovely people. Turns out pets and kisses are about the best thing! I recently came to MN with my brother. Our sister came up before us and has been adopted already. I’m only a little bit jealous!A little bit about me: before coming to MN I had never been in this thing called a “house” so it’s been a little bit of a learning curve for me. I’m learning things like stairs, the TV, and other household items aren’t so scary. I need a family that will be patient with me and help me continue learning. Even with just coming up to MN I already sleep all night in my kennel without a peep! My foster mom says I’m just the smartest girly! I’m so proud to announce that I still haven’t had a single accident in the house. Go me!!Otherwise, I’m pretty chill! I have lived with many other dogs and get along with them really well. I’ve been great at sharing my toys and having chew things around with other dogs, which is amazing since I started life on the streets of Alabama. My foster mom says I have a perfectly squishable face, which I think is a compliment. I come out my shell a little bit more every day and am excited to see what new things I’m going to learn tomorrow.Hope to sniff you soon!!***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Janet is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Janet will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Janet, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi there! I’m Heidi, and I’m excited to share a little about me!I like the slow life - sitting in the sun, listening to the birds, and feeling the breeze. I’ve gone through some tough things, but I’m now in a wonderful environment and have met so many loving people along the way! I make friends with everyone, and I do think I’m the best lap dog around! I love kids, in fact my favorite person in the house is the young teenager. I’m the most affectionate pup, and I’ve never met a stranger! My way of saying hello is to fall into you and give you lots of kisses! I’m just the most gentle girl.Part of my story is that I am a mama of eleven pups who are on their way to their forever homes now. I’m a caring girl and just want to be right next to my people. In my foster home, I live with a senior yorkie and we get along really well! I would do well in a home either as an only pup, or with another pup who is respectful of my desire to just chill out. I do prefer slower, calm introductions to new 4-legged friends, it helps me feel more confident. Although I enjoy being next to my foster friend, if I’m bothered by something, I just get up and move, so I’m pretty easy going about everything. It's rare, but I'm also a really good jumper. I would do well in a yard with a tall fence, or if there isn't a tall fence we can just walk outside on a leash. I’m currently heartworm positive, but I’ve started my treatment and am doing really well! It’s a short term treatment and I’m great at taking my medication (in peanut butter)! I’m very patient at taking treats when other pups are around, too. I sleep all night (and some during the day)! And I haven’t had one accident in the house. I’m working on walking on a leash, I like to take my time to check out what is around me first. I absolutely love riding in cars! My foster mom says I’m just the best girl and that I deserve a best friend who will stop and smell the roses with me.Are you my forever snuggler?***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Heidi is Heartworm positive and not yet spayed. Meet Chance, a survivor with a heart full of love. His story is sadly familiar; he was abandoned in a field to fend for himself. Thankfully, a kind-hearted lady living nearby stepped in to help. She gave Chance the chance he needed to show just how much love and devotion he had to offer. In his foster home, Chance has proved to be quite the gentleman. He's house-trained and knows how to sit on command. But most importantly, he's a playful guy who thrives in the company of people. His foster mom does say he can be a bit pesky at times, but who can resist that playful spirit? Chance has a list of favorites that will make you smile. He adores playing tug-o-war and FETCH, and he's excellent at taking treats gently. He's an active pup, so he's looking for a family that enjoys adventures and keeping active. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a dog who's been through a lot and is ready to give his all, then Chance is the one. Don't miss the opportunity to make wonderful memories with this loving and loyal companion. Fill out your application today and give Chance the second chance he deserves! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hey Frens! Thanks for stopping on my profile to get to know me....bet it's my gorgeous white coat and perky ears that caught your attention...right...am I right? A little about me: My sister and I were abandoned by my first family next to a busy highway surviving the best we could. Sister Asta (also adoptable) was terribly traumatized so I cared and protected her the best I could. We are incredibly close and stick together. I love adventures and occasional scavenger hunts. So I'm hoping to find an active family to feed my athletic and energetic nature. My favorite thing is to hang out with my foster dad doing projects in the backyard. I'm really a Tomboy in dogs clothes. I like ppl but cautious when I meet them. So, proper introduction is a must. Same goes for other dogs. I'm learning boundaries so I don't overwhelm other dogs around me. Cats are a no. Quick movements and loud noises puts me into action of "what are you doing? A quiet environment and no excitable children till I learn my boundaries. I'm also crate and leash trained. Hopefully you have found me, the new love of your life!!! Apply to adopt me soon!!! Love, Kinsley! Local adoption fee together is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee together is $600 (includes transport to your area and $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
