HI - I'M STELLA! I'm a sweet and gentle 4-year-old Chihuahua in need of a forever home! I was recently rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, and now am in a foster home, where I share my days with a couple other pups. I am very much a lap dog and a snuggler, so if you are looking for a bed-warmer, that's me! I weigh only 8 lbs. I'm currently still in California but can be transported to you in Washington. Please email for an application!

Story
Baby is sweet, sassy, and completely lovable! This darling girl was very scared at the shelter, but once she settled into foster care, her true personality began to shine. Now she’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion who’s ready for her forever home. Baby loves people and does especially well with other small dogs who match her chill, easygoing vibe. She enjoys leisurely walks, cozy couch cuddles, and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. She`s also great in the car and ready for her next adventure! If you’re looking for a gentle, snuggly sidekick with just the right touch of sass, Baby is ready to meet you and steal your heart. Story
LOCATION: Foster CareI’m a petite, gentle little dog learning to be brave in this big world! My foster mom is helping me to slowly build my confidence. I love snuggling on the couch with her and getting pets. I don’t mind being picked up once we’re friends. I’m starting to go on short walks as I get used to the outdoors. Please be patient with me – I promise I’m worth it! I did live with lots of other dogs before, so I’d be glad to have a dog buddy in my new home. Story
Meet Brisket! This little guy was found wandering all alone in a rural area. He is the sweetest and so loving. He is timid and it seems life was not kind to him before but he is learning to trust. If you are gentle and give him time to trust, he will want to be by your side all the time.  Brisket likes other dogs and will do best with another small dog friend to pal around with. Larger dogs are a little scary for him. He is good with kids, as long as the kids can be respectful of him and don't scare him with loud noises or yelling. He is a sensitive soul and just needs a little understanding. He is doing great with potty training but will need reminders when he moves to a new home. He is learning to walk on a leash and it is a work in progress - he is just a baby so that is understandable.  He'll do best in a more quiet setting (not a busy city street) and in a home with a yard.  Brisket is just darling! He will be vaccinated and chipped and will be neutered around 8-12 months of age at our cost. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
