Story
Lovable, playful and very protective boy. Sweet and loves everyone. Full of energy. Needs a bigger home and backyard to play in. He has become too big, strong and heavy for me to take care of properly. Tried to train but he was too stubborn. Great with kids. Very protective.

Story
Rudy is a 8-month-old Border Collie / Australian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix with a bright mind and a lot of potential. He's at that in-between stage where he's still very much a puppy, but already growing into a large, intelligent dog.Rudy enjoys toys, treats, and spending time with his people, and he responds well to positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. He's continuing to learn his manners and does best with structure, routine, and clear expectations. Like many young working-breed mixes, he thrives when his body and brain are kept engaged. With consistency and encouragement, Rudy has the makings of a loyal, affectionate companion. He's ready to grow alongside someone who understands young dogs and wants to build a strong bond through training, routine, and time together. Story
**Please only submit one application. Due to the volume of interest, we will only be contacting approved applicants to schedule meet-and-greets.**These six adorable 8-week-old puppies are ready to start their journey toward finding loving forever homes! They are a mix of the breeds Bouvier des Flandres, Belgian Malinois, and Pitbull Terrier. These pups are expected to grow into large, strong, and very smart dogs. Right now they are big, sweet pups with lots of personality, curiosity, and affection to give.Because of their unique breed mix, we cannot predict exactly which traits each puppy will inherit. However, all three breeds are known for being active, intelligent working dogs, so adopters should expect pups that will grow into high-energy companions who need plenty of exercise, enrichment, and a job to do. These puppies will thrive with families who enjoy an active lifestyle and are committed to providing structure, training, and mental stimulation. They are still very young and have a lot to learn about the big wide world. Their future families will need patience, consistency, and lots of love while helping them grow into well-balanced adult dogs. We strongly encourage adopters to continue training with AnimalKind-certified trainers using positive reinforcement methods to help bring out the very best in them.We are looking for experienced dog homes or dedicated adopters who are ready to take on the adventure of raising a working-breed mix puppy. Puppyhood can be a roller coaster-full of fun, challenges, learning, and growth, so these pups need families who are prepared for the commitment. If you're ready to invest the time, training, and love these incredible pups will need, one of them could grow into your next amazing best friend. 🐶💛 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.3 Age: 0yrs 0mths 8wks

Story
Sweet Sandy, born February 2025 was already on the street at a young age. A kind rescuer would see her out chasing chickens, hungry and alone, and took her into foster care. Sandy is a mixed breed, whippet x terrier, currently weighing 33 lbs, we estimate she may be 39 lbs full grown. Sandy is living in a foster home with multiple dogs and cats. She is playful with all dogs, and even safe playing with the tiniest of them. Sandy is friendly with people but likes to go slowly when strangers visit to be sure that they are safe to cuddle. Sandy has not been tested with kids. Sandy is house trained, walks well on leash, and has been okay when left alone in her foster home. Sandy is looking for adventure, and would like an active home where she can run and play, and even some enrichment for her big brain. Not only is Sandy beautiful, but also healthy, spayed and vaccinated. Sandy is looking for her very own family and would love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com (Please check your spam for our response in case it has made its way there)

Story
Meet Nube who is looking for a home. Nube is a 4.5 year old mixed breed, full grown at a perfect 45 lbs. We think she may be a lab cross, with a gorgeous white coat, and beautiful markings to round out her unique look. She shares space with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the yard with them. Nube is friendly and affectionate with shelter visitors with a lovely disposition. She is medium energy - with enough energy to keep up, but would also be grateful for some chill time to make up for missed cuddles. Mostly she would love her very own family. Nube hasn't been tested extensively with cats. She sees them without reacting, but for now, we will seek a home without cats to be sure. While Nube is lovely with people, she's not been specifically tested with kids. Nube is spayed and vaccinated. She is missing some of her front teeth - likely a result of escaping shackles or surviving on street scraps. If you think you might be a fit for this beauty, as her chance at a forever home, or as a foster along the way, she'd love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com

Story
Pongo is a handsome 6-year-old gentleman who is learning that home life can be pretty wonderful. While we don't know much about his past, we do know that this sweet guy absolutely adores his people. Once he feels comfortable, Pongo is happiest right by your side, soaking up attention and companionship. He's still getting used to the routines and comforts of living in a home, but he's adjusting with a happy heart and a willing spirit. Watching him discover cozy spots, tasty treats, and the joy of simply relaxing near his favorite humans has been truly special. Pongo may need a little patience as he continues to learn, but he's trying his best and clearly wants to belong.Pongo is looking for a home where he can be the one and only pet. He has shown some prey drive, so he'll need a home without other animals - that means no cats or small pets. He'll thrive in a calm environment where he doesn't have to share his space and can focus on building a strong bond with his new family.
