Story
Buddy is a wonderful boy . He's is two years old and is my heart . I am searching for a lovable family for him who can keep him safe and happy... As much as it hurts me to give him up, I have no choice as my permit got revoked and have to leave the country. And there is no chance I could take him with me. He shares a very special bond with my kids . It hurts but hopefully he finds a good family . Note: he needs training with reactivity for animals and people . I don't know how but he's good to everyone in the dog park but needs training outside . Hopefully he finds a match ... Routing for Buddy . Thanks

Story
Flora is a sensitive soul who is looking to find a special home. She is 1.5 years old and we think maybe a lab whippet cross at a perfect 45 lbs – she is tall and sleek. Flora would like to join a home with another dog, and bonus if there are also cats! She is good with all furry creatures – she’s even lived kindly and gently with rabbits. Flora was born to a pregnant mama who was trying to survive near a riverbank living off the visits of kind soul who would bring her food. She spent her first 10 months of life in shelter, so she feels best with other animals. Flora worries about new things and loud noises so would like a quiet patient home who understands she doesn’t always feel safe. She does loves big space, and quiet woodsy walks with her dog friend to help her feel safe. Her ideal would be a quiet rural property with a kind and confident dog bestie. Flora is spayed and vaccinated and is located in Nanaimo. If you think you might be a fit for Flora, please email us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com and tell us a bit about yourself, and we can send along an application.

Meet Ozzie, a handsome, goofy Husky who's ready to find an experienced forever family to call his own! This fun-loving boy is full of personality and loves nothing more than stretching his legs, playing in the yard, and making his people smile with his silly antics.Ozzie is looking for a husky-savvy, adult-only home where he can continue to learn and thrive. He's been working hard on his basic manners and responds exceptionally well to positive reinforcement training. With consistency, patience, and plenty of encouragement, Ozzie is eager to keep building his confidence and skills.Ozzie is happiest when he has space to romp around and burn off some energy, so a secure backyard where he can run, play, and get all of his zoomies out would be a dream come true! After playtime, he's more than happy to relax and enjoy spending time with his favourite people.Because he'll do best as the center of attention, Ozzie is looking for a home with no other animals. He's ready to form a strong bond with a family who understands his breed and will give him the structure, love, and adventures he's been waiting for.If you're looking for a loyal, entertaining companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Ozzie could be the perfect match. PLEASE APPLY IF INTERESTED IN MEETING* Meet Professor! Professor came into our care with his brother Raffi, and is looking for his forever home.Professor hasn't seen much of the world, making life pretty overwhelming! While he might be shy at first, given a little time, a calm quiet environment, and some positive reinforcement training, we are sure he will flourish into the best little companion. He is still young and spritely, so his forever home will have to be ready to get him out for adventures when he builds up the courage. We don't have much information about his past, so other dogs and cats are an unknown at this point.Professor is looking for paw-rents who understand he is going to need regular grooming to keep up with his luscious curls, most poodle mixes needing grooming EVERY 6 WEEKS! This is a non-negotiable for a handsome prince like him! Professor is looking for a LOCAL home as he is still awaiting his neuter surgery. If Professor sounds like the boy for you, apply today!
