Story
These boys are like our children. They get walked twice a day and we even cook for our dogs. But we are now battling cancer and must leave the country often for treatments. When we do, we are forced to put them in a kennel. That's no way to treat ones children. These boys need some children for company or someone like us that loves to go for runs. I know the fee is high, but it comes down when we can see evidence that our boys will be loved.

Story
Meet Wilma!Wilma is a 6-year-old mixed-breed Doberman Pinscher with a gentle, thoughtful soul. She's a sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place, and she grows braver with each passing day. While many dogs her age already know the joys of toys and long walks, Wilma is discovering these experiences at her own pace-and it's been wonderful to watch her confidence build. She has already made great progress with her leash walking and continues to improve every day.Wilma truly shines during quiet, cozy moments. She loves relaxing in her bed, enjoying tasty treats and snacks, working on a Kong, and spending time with her beloved sisters. She came into care alongside three other dogs, and despite an unstable past, the bond they share has been a huge source of comfort for her. Watching her sisters gain confidence has helped Wilma do the same, often encouraging her to try something new by following their lead.Sweet and calm by nature, Wilma has recently begun to show glimpses of her playful side as her confidence grows. She enjoys gentle companionship and is happiest in a peaceful, predictable environment where she feels safe and supported. An understanding and patient family who is willing to take things slowly and help guide her through this next chapter will be essential in helping Wilma truly thrive.Do you think you could be Wilma's person? Story
Both of these ladies are super sweet. They lived most of their lives outside before coming to live with us. They are working on manners like house training and counter surfing, but are highly food motivated. Both are crate trained. Neither has ever been violent but they are fed separately. They are great with kids (they live in a 6 kid home). Rosie is an escape artist and can easily jump over fences. Jubilee is a home body who can open some doors, but they both love running around. Rosie is about 7 and Jubilee 4 or 5. They are adorable and sweet and hyper and deserve a beautiful life. They are good with cats. They have challenges, but they are truly amazing souls. They dog sitters always fall in love with them. Why do we need to rehome them? Last year I got divorced and he did not take them as agreed. I work from home, so I was trying to make it work, but with life and 6 kids, I struggled walking them enough. When with my son's recent cancer diagnosis, it has become unmanageable.

Story
Meet Zane! 💙Zane is a handsome, approximately 3-year-old Pit Bull with endless energy and love to share. Some of his favourite things include time with his people, soaking up all the pets and affection, exploring the outdoors and sniffing around the yard. He is also a big fan of a Kong or a treat puzzle! If you're looking for a smart and loyal companion, Zane could be your perfect match.Zane is an energetic, strong boy who will do best in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life. He needs regular physical exercise as well as mental enrichment to help him stay happy and balanced. Because of his strength, Zane can be powerful on leash and will require an adopter who is confident and capable of handling him.Zane would benefit from working with an AnimalKind trainer using positive reinforcement to help him learn leash skills, manners, and build on his training overall. With structure, consistency, and guidance, he has great potential to thrive.Zane can be reactive to other dogs and will do best in a home where he can be the only pet, keeping all the attention to himself! In the right home, Zane will be an incredibly devoted companion who gives endless love and affection in return. He's searching for someone who understands his needs and is ready to invest in helping him be the best version of himself.*** Please acknowledge local bylaws for pit bull and bully type breeds. Cities including (not limited to) Richmond, Burnaby and West Vancouver may have certain restrictions in place. ***If you think Zane sounds like the guy for you please fill out an application today!1.)
