Story
I am a loving, sweet and very energetic girl! I LOVE to catch frisbees and balls! I’m super fast and my catching ability exceeds most dogs. I love to swim and go on adventures. Car trips are required. I am from a very loving home and been well taken care of. I just need a little more time spent with me and someone that likes to have a dog to tag along. I really shouldn’t be trusted around small dogs or cats but I do listen very well and love to please my owner. I DO NOT use the bathroom in the house!

Story
Alix #24280 is a white and black female Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. She is approximately 3 years old. She weighs 55.0 lbs.. She has not been spayed. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer on 8/18/26; hold expires 8/21/26. She is calm and low energy. She appears to be well socialized. She was thin at intake. She is heartworm negative. She is current on vaccines. She is leash broken. She sits on command. Meds: heartworm negative, distemper/parvo, pyrantal deworm, fleay spray, bordetella/parainfluenza. Meet Alix, a beautiful 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who weighs 55 pounds and has a wonderfully calm, good-natured personality. From the moment we met her, Alix impressed us with her gentle, easygoing nature. She appears friendly and well socialized and has been a pleasure to handle. Alix has a gorgeous white-and-black coat, but her wonderfully fluffy, curled tail may be our favorite feature—it stands out behind her like a little flag waving in the breeze! She is calm and quiet, and so far, we haven't even heard her bark. If you enjoy walks with a well-mannered companion, Alix could be a great match. She is excellent on a leash and heels nicely as she walks. She also knows how to sit on command, showing that she's ready to continue learning with her new family. She was completely cooperative for her diagnostics and vaccines and didn't even need a muzzle for her heartworm blood draw. Her heartworm test was negative. Alix has so much to offer a loving home. Please come meet this sweet, beautiful girl and give her the chance to become your forever companion. Rescue interest is warmly welcomed, too!
