Story
Abby is a sweet girl looking for a quiet family with older kids who will respect her boundaries by staying out of her face and not climb all over her. She was used as a breeder and had enough of that nonsense from her puppies, let’s give her a break. She is enjoying being inside her foster home instead of kept in a garage to make puppies. At her vet visit it was determined she is 10 to 15lbs overweight which is causing a little bit of arthritis in her hips. It is not causing her any pain and she is still a little spunky and playful with the other foster dogs she is around. With some exercise she will lose the weight and her hips will be a lot better. Thank you for your interest in rescue. please fill out an application Blair’s Buddies Pet Rescue Adoption Application at: https://form.jotform.com/92997860676177 and a foster will contact you and answer any questions you may have. Thank you.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details

Story
Hades is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and a cat. The lot has a large fully fenced yard which is ideal for his size and energy level. His previous situation was not a healthy one. He was left alone and most often in a crate with not enough food and water. Despite being neglected for some time, he is a sweet, loving and playful guy. He is currently in a healthy environment and gaining his weight back. Possibly due to his previous neglect and/or being an intact male, he has developed extreme anxiety and obsessive behavior and has become too much for the fostering home, and terrorizes the cat so cannot stay for much longer. He is not up to date on immunizations, is not neutered and in need of some dental work. Hades needs someone willing to put the time, energy and money into the proper care for this large, loving boy.

Story
Daisy is the sweetest dog. Shes the most affectionate dog ever. She gets along with our 10 year old small dog. Think she would be just fine with a dog brother or sister. Daisy loves to cuddle and give kisses. She can be quite the handful at times. She is not the best with the crate. She will go in with food. My wife and I got her out of a bad situation and wanted to try to keep her but with our work/school schedule it just doesn’t work for us. We absolutely adore her. We just think she deserves to get the attention and affection she gives in return. We have to crate her and she is a big dog that needs more time out. We feel so bad because she is so sweet and loving.

Story
This dog found its way to our house a few months ago, we’ve been trying to find her a good home since, because we currently have chickens outside and a cat inside that she wouldn’t get along with. I would love to find a home for her with someone who either has another small dog or no other pets, before the winter gets too harsh. She is super sweet and she loves to snuggle, and has spent lots of time with another small dog we have. We have had to keep her in an enclosure or in a specific room of the house most of the time we’ve had her as she has tried to run away or go after our chickens.
