Thank you to one of our amazing volunteers for sponsoring Maggie's adoption fee!We're thrilled to introduce you to Maggie, a 10-year-old canine companion who's full of hope and ready to write a new chapter in her life. Maggie has had a bit of a bumpy road lately. After her beloved owner passed away, she found herself without a home and at a local animal shelter for a few months which had her golden years suddenly feeling a little less golden. But this resilient girl is determined to find happiness again, and we're here to make sure that happens. Maggie is a friendly soul who gets along splendidly with anyone she meets. She's a people person, er dog, and her tail wags a mile a minute when she's around her human friends. Despite her age, Maggie still has a lot of life to live and love to give. She may be a senior, but she's young at heart and has the spirit to match. Maggie still likes to play fetch and enjoys her daily walks. Her ideal retirement home would be one where she's surrounded by love, comfort, and all the tail-wagging fun that golden years should bring. Maggie does well with smaller dogs her size and with polite personalities, no cats please.Maggie is a Mix breed, 10 years old, weighs 75 lbs. (she is currently on a diet and exercise program), up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention.So, if you're looking for a loyal friend to cuddle up with, go on slow short leisurely walks, and share your golden years with, Maggie is the perfect match for you.
