**Please note - Koala is in a foster home, not at the rescue location, therefore, he will need to have a meet and greet appointment scheduled to meet him.Meet Koala, or Ko for short — he's an incredible puppy with a heart as big as his namesake! Initially shy, Koala has blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than a good belly rub and covering your face in puppy kisses. He's incredibly smart and athletic, always up for a game or learning new tricks, and will be a loyal companion who will protect you with all his might. Koala's ideal home will be one that continues his socialization and helps him build confidence, especially with other dogs. He's currently in a foster home, learning all the basics, from walking on a leash to sitting. With his jolly ball in tow, he's ready to take on the world and find his forever family. Ko does enjoy going for daily walks and car rides!Koala initially came to us with stranger danger and still is uncomfortable with some new people, so we are looking for an experienced home and someone that will continue working with us in setting up Ko for success. This includes free training for Koala with our certified dog trainer. Ko would do best in a home with another canine companion.Koala is believed to be a Labrador mix, approximately 6-7 months old, neutered, and up to date on his vet care including vaccines, microchip, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention.If you're looking for a bundle of hope and joy, Koala is your pup.
