Story
Hi my name is Miyah. I am well behaved if I'm the only dog. I am crate trained and I listen very well. I love children and I'm very energetic.. Miyah is a wonderful dog to have. She doesn't get along with my senior dog. She listens and behaves when it's just her. Goes outside, doesn't make messes inside. Currently she is not up to date on her shots, but I'm going to be fixing that soon.

Story
Thanks to Glamour Paws Grooming in Imlay City for sponsoring the adoption fee for Eve!Meet Eve! A VERY nice girl who arrived to PAR on December 23rd after she found herself impounded at the county shelter from running the streets in Sanilac County. This young lady is full of life and there is never a dull moment with this girl! Eve loves to entertain herself playing with toys on her own and is quite independent. When she feels a bit stressed, she will calm herself down by suckling on a blanket (never chews it).Eve communicates well when it comes to her needs and she does best with a routine, like most dogs. Her favorite activities are playing with a flirt pole, fetch, and going for walks which Eve is an excellent loose leash walker! Just because Eve is known to be a higher energy breed, she has a very calm nature to her personality!Eve’s ideal family and home would be:Someone that likes to walk daily. Not gone long hours as Eve would like to be a big part of your day!Take her on car rides as Eve loves going on adventures.Someone who doesn’t mind dogs on furniture.Allow Eve to give smooches too!Children over 8 years oldInformation on Eve:𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅: Cattle Dog Mix (herding breed)𝑨𝒈𝒆: Adult, Est 2 years old𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓: Female𝑺𝒊𝒛𝒆: Medium, approx. 50 lbs.𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓: Bi-color (White & Tan)𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆/Crate-𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅: Yes𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉: Tested, H/W-. Phinn is a sweet boy - he is only 6 months old and such a lover. I was meant to foster for a short period so i am helping find him his forever home. If at all interested I am able to get him microchipped and get his shots up to date if it comes down to that being the only issue. He is a major mutt. There is Daniffsky (Great Dane, Mastiff, Husky) Dad is 110lbs and Lab Pit mix (Mom) is 40lbs. He can bark very well :) but he loves to play and get snuggles. He does just want a loving home.

Story
Meet Darla-part of the Finding Nemo litter! Darla, along with her seven siblings are looking for their forever homes! These pups are black mouth cur/beagle mixes, who are approximately 7 weeks old and currently weigh 10 pounds. We estimate they may grow to 40-60 pounds when fully grown. They are the cutest bunch of pups around and they just can't wait to start their lives with a family like yours! Adopting a puppy is a long-term commitment that takes a lot of patience and dedication. Darla will need a family that has the time to commit to her training and exercise needs. A yard for her to enjoy would be perfect for this fun-loving pup! Based on her evaluation, we feel Darla will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids of all ages. She may have the potential to live in a home with other pets as she has a blast with her siblings We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you'd like a chance to welcome Darla into your family, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com to fill out an application today! **We are currently accepting applications and all pups will be ready for their homes after they are fully vetted**

Story
Meet Ronan! This 2-year-old, 61-pound happy-go-lucky husky mix is a fun as can be! He will bring years of smiles to one lucky family! Before coming to GLDR, Ronan spent some time in a foster home and they just raved about him! They sent a hand written letter to his future adopters. He hung out with small children and absolutely loved them. Ronan also enjoys the company of other pups. If you're looking for a playful pal for your pup, he's your man! Not only is he devastatingly handsome, Ronan loves spending time outside and is always ready for action! He will thrive in a home where he can receive additional training, lots of daily exercise, and have a yard to run in. He already knows how to sit and is capable so so much more! He will benefit from someone with husky experience who can satisfy his physical and mental stimulation needs. He'll make a great partner in crime! Based on our evaluation, we feel Ronan would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. He may have the capacity to live in a home with other dogs and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you think Ronan could be the guy for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for this peppy pup!
