Story
Meet Uno Uno is a 3-year-old boy who came into rescue in really rough shape. He was more than 20 pounds underweight when he was surrendered, and it's been so rewarding watching him put on weight and start to really enjoy life.Uno is just a really sweet, goofy boy. He LOVES water and has no problem with baths. He lets us clip his nails, and he actually enjoys things like scratch boards to file his nails, licky mats and snuffle mats. Give him a bone and he's happy. Give him a yard to run around in and he's even happier! He likes other dogs and loves to give them kisses. He can get a little too excited, though, and sometimes forgets that he's a big boy. When he gets worked up, he may try to jump on the other dogs. He also gets frustrated when he sees other animals while he's on leash, so that's something his new family will need to continue working on with him.Uno isn't a big fan of his crate, but he will go in when he needs to. Given the choice, he'd much rather sleep in bed with his people. He also has a tendency to drink way too much water at once and then regurgitate it, so he takes medication to help with that. His new family will need to continue managing this with him.Thunderstorms are probably Uno's biggest fear. He gets especially scared if he's crated or separated from his people during a storm. He does much better when he can be close to his humans and knows he's safe.Uno has come a LONG way since he arrived. He deserves a family who will be patient with him, keep working on the things he's still learning, and let him be the big, goofy, loving boy that he is.He is ready for his forever home. Could that be with you? Please fill out our online adoption application today to set up a meet and greet with this big hunk of love!https://www.parpets.org/adoption-application.html

**Please note - Koala is in a foster home, not at the rescue location, therefore, he will need to have a meet and greet appointment scheduled to meet him.Meet Koala, or Ko for short — he's an incredible puppy with a heart as big as his namesake! Initially shy, Koala has blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than a good belly rub and covering your face in puppy kisses. He's incredibly smart and athletic, always up for a game or learning new tricks, and will be a loyal companion who will protect you with all his might. Koala's ideal home will be one that continues his socialization and helps him build confidence, especially with other dogs. Ko does enjoy going for daily walks and car rides!Koala initially came to us with stranger danger and still is uncomfortable with some new people, so we are looking for an experienced home and someone that will continue working with us in setting up Ko for success. This includes free training for Koala with our certified dog trainer. Ko would do best in a home with another canine companion.Koala is believed to be a Labrador mix, approximately 6-7 months old, neutered, and up to date on his vet care including vaccines, microchip, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. If you're looking for a bundle of hope and joy, Koala is your pup.
